Why No Apache Forum???
even though people use it to ask unrelated questions then
this forum would be the right for your question

would be good to have an Apache forum.

I can see no reason why there is not one. Without it's own forum and information posted about will be scattered about.
I totally agree.
its no wizard.
second that.
here here
still no Apache category on the forum??? I happened to want to search for an Apache topic today, I find that the info is scattered on different part of the forum. It would be much better if we have an Apache section. Could we have that please. Also, that might reduce the duplication between info on Wizard and General forums.

Would be nice to have an Apahce forum.
the apache is booming in sales. I feel an apache category is a must. I'm so fustrated tring to figure out what works for the apache and what doesn't.
I want to see an Apache-specific forum too. Reasons why not?
I want to see an Apache-specific forum too. Reasons why not? Are there any reasons?
I regret that I have gotten this device just around the time when the BlueAngel linux port has come into some kind of maturity, but I am hoping that the similarities will make the development cycle of it for the Apache much briefer than others before it.
I am looking all over the place for Apache info
I am surprised it isn't supported. Is it because most of the phones on here are GSM?
I'm new but think the Apache should have its own forum, or at least one of the existing ones should be expanded to specifically include it
This hasn't been made because there is no active administrator right now. I'm trying to work on that and if we succeed i'll remember to try and get an apache section. Isn't the apache just the wizard though?
Yep Apache == Wizard different radio. According to http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_PhoneModels
Really the Wizard forum should just be reanamed Wizard/Apache
Apache needs a home
My sympathies too all Apache users. I've been trying to help my brother in Ohio with his new verizon apache.
I'm a Wizard owner and while there many similarities between the two, so many tweeks don't seem to work on the Apache like they do on the Wiz.
Maybe someone could persuade summiter to take on the cause.
I posted in what I thought was the correct place, I thought about my fellow XDAers, and the rules of posting but a member felt I was out of place.
I would like to know; was my post innappropriate placed?

Can someone please review and let me know if I am out of line so I can improve my XDA forum grace?
I appreciate your time.
Thresher
Althoughwe can appreciate thought has been put into the wereabouts of the query you indeed placed it in a DEVELOPMENT forum. this forum is for development posts from developers and helpers
you question would have been better either posted in the forum concernred with the roms you are asking about or sent to the chef who makes the rom you use
Thank you for the correction. Can you delete my thread at the above location than since it is improperly posted, I do not want to cause issue. I posted [Question]Energy Rom version help...pretty easy.

Thanks!
Hi Threser,
If you take a quick gander at the annoucment in the Raphael ROM development forum, you'll see mrvanx has covered the general forum etiquette for starting new threads, and what the content of the ROM development forum is usually reserved for.
I know it can be frustrating when posting in threads as busy as NRG's because some questions just get overlooked, but the answers are there in the forums - in your case: NRG's ROM versions depend on what official (or beta) ROM he's using or what Manila version he's using.
P.S. Closed your thread for you, before the flamers get in
Thanks
Dave

Some of you will have a problem with these rules (those are the ones who need to ingrain them in their tiny brains and deal with it like adults), others will be thankful for them (those are the ones that deserve lots of hugs and kisses, not from me of course). In either event, I expect everyone to follow these rules equally, this includes Junior Members, Members, Senior Members, Developers, Recognized Developers, and even Moderators. No one is above these rules.
While I understand there will always be situations that require a different view on the matter, or a more thorough examination, this does not mean the action taken is inappropriate or unwarranted.
Search before creating a new thread/post.
Do not create a thread in Development just to ask a question.Post in Q&A instead.
Do not create a thread in Development where no developing is actually going on. This includes pre-release ROM threads with no download link.
Treat everyone how you would like to be treated.
Do not go into another ROM thread for the purpose of putting down the Developers work or to boost traffic to another ROM thread.
Links to manufactorers release of source code are not considered development. Post these in General.

[REF] Read this before posting new ROM threads!
In order to keep Desire Z & Vision Android Development fora clean and avoid multiple threads for one ROM please do the following:
When posting a new ROM release or a link to a new ROM release, DO NOT create a new thread unless it is a completely different ROM.
If you are posting an update, please edit the active thread instead of creating a new thread. Include the following details:
[ROM][LANGUAGE][DATE]rom name and version (Build)[STATUS]

These rules are used throughout XDA. I am definitely not the only moderator who follows them. Just because this is the internet, does not mean you have free reign to do whatever you want. If that were the case, these forums would be even more difficult to navigate. Again, if you do not like them, you do not have to be here.
Hi Is there any plands on upgradeing site to VB4?
.
Thread moved. Would advise you to read forum rules and post in correct section.
I have read the rules what is wrong with posting this topic in genrel chat?
and why will you move my post before just answerig a simple question?
maby other users would like the site upgraded to vb4 aswell?
I own/operate a VB3 forum and a VB4 forum. Unless I'm doing something that specifically requires VB4, like the blog function, I'd much rather use VB3. The depth of support and mods is much better; it's simpler, easier to modify, etc. If I could buy a VB3 license and convert my VB4 forum to it, then I would.
We do not allow warez
Pretty sure this is against forum rules m8.
Talk of warez is not allowed. Thread closed.
