How to remove the case (front and back) of Magician? Do you have a picture to show me?
Take a look at this thread:

You can ask the guys who painted the covers. They say it’s tricky.

Hi folks,
due to security reasons i am not allowed to use my loved artemis inside my company.
Do you know a new cover without the hole for the camera?
This is the only way i can get access with Artemis and not beeing fired.
greets,
neil
not sure there is one....
BUT you could always take the housing apart and make a cover for it yourself...Just remove the clear one and replace with some thin plastic covering...
just an idea..
than I still have the text "2.0 Mega Pixel" on the device.
Our security guys won't accept that.
lol... well, you could paint it over, then use some superglue to permanently glue some sort of plastic thingy (maybe something like a fake plastic diamond of the similar size) to over the camera whole
I have just got my Galaxy Note 2 yesterday and noticed that the rear camera is not protected. There is just camera lens visible (small piece of glass approx 1-1.5mm in diameter). It looks like there is a protection glass missing above the lens, because there is just the chrome bezel and and inside another plastic part which surrounds the lens.
For example here:
In the review posted on phonearena "GN2 x HTC One X" (I cannot post the link), there is nice picture of GN2 rear camera and it looks like there is a layer of glass/plastic above the camera lens. But I am not sure.
So I wonder if someone, simply by looking at this Note 2 backside, can confirm my suspicion.
Mine has a layer of plastic almost flush with the chrome bezel. It is square(ish), about 8mmx8mm.
(Picture attached)
mg35pt, thanks for the picture, which makes the covering layer very distinguished. That is what I was afraid of. Mine does not have anything "in the hole", just naked lens. So I guess I am going to return it .

Are you saying yours doesn't have that chrome looking bezel? Would you mind posting a picture to give others a heads up of what to look for?
If you only have your phone you can try using a mirror.

It is not that I miss the bezel, which is right there. What I miss is the small window from transparent glass/plastic, which is sunk in the bezel and covers the lens and protects it from dust and contact with outside world. (As was nicely pictured by mg35pt). The missing window is not apparent at the first sight, so I guess they just forgot to put one there and quality control did not notice.

Thank you for the clarification. So all you see is the camera lens which is the tiny circle and not a flat surface as it should be.
Is there any way to clean the dust in the camera lens?I think it affects my camera quality so it does not take quality picrures. Please help thanks!

I had not dust, but some kind of a residue that was making the lens cover "foggy" from the inside. I discovered it when I removed the back cover from my phone (for different reason). Cleaned it with a q-tip, which made pictures much better. So, if you are sure you have some crap inside, the only way to get rid of it is to remove the back cover, and clean it up. It's not a difficult task... You need to remove two screws at the bottom, and carefully pry your cover open, starting at the bottom, and working your way along the sides to the top. Don't forget to take out your SIM tray BEFORE removing the cover! When you're done, put the cover back, starting at the top, and snapping it in place along the sides, and down to the bottom. It's a bit tricky to hold side buttons in place while snapping the cover back on, but not too much...
Why is there a black dot in the same exact place when I take a picture. It doesn't matter what camera app I use. I'm thinking that its someting under the camera lens. What should I do?
Looks like a piece of plastic or foam under the lens.

How can I remove it?
You'll have to open the back of the case and see if you can clear the debris that way. If it's not easily accessible or blown out that way, I'm not sure you'll even want to mess with it further. Not sure what kind of real uses this terrible camera has anyways.
Here's a teardown guide, be careful not to crack the back cover....

Edit: i have the finshed look to it l upload pics when i can
Cut more around the camera area*
1000Thanks for posting all these pictures of the new BOLD-N1 with a completely transparent rear glass!
As I currently have two BOLD-N1 and I was curious to see this phone inside, so I really appreciate very much that you decided to upload all these pictures of the inside of the new BOLD-N1...
But, as it is not seen in the photos you have posted, I would also like to see where the spiral coil for the wireless charging is located?
Could you also post some pictures of the rear of the BOLD-N1 with the wireless charging coil mounted on it?
I would also like to know if after having removed the back cover of the BOLD-N1, if can be installed it again without any problems?... I ask you, because I imagine that this back cover should have an adhesive gasket all around it.
Thanks in advance!
