I have a problem with a mda compact. It's locked in bootloader mode, and i don't have a backup image. Maupgrade_noID.exe doesn't works and with sd no way. I tried to backup the rom with romupgrade.exe but when i type d2s the display turn off (no usb or serial on it) and remain here for hours... nothing happens...
Anyone can help me?

in the beginning normal connex but before going in bl-mode...error and nada
active sync 4.5 AND 6.1 refused to reconnect to device.
i tryed to put manual in bootloader modus.. nothing happened.
well, i ve the sd card modus possibility but i want use this as last solution.
please need info, thx
what do you mean by "i tryed to put manual in bootloader modus.. nothing happened. "?
Did it enter bootloader? If so, don't look at ActiveSync, it won't show you anything, just run ruuwrapper and flash your baby
hmm?
yes, it enter in bootloader modus, but if i try to run wrapper, same error than without..
active sync stay connected until arriving to verify the device.. after that.. error coz cable unplugged or not correct connected..

The same error happened to me quite often.
use the SD card method, its way better.
rename the .nbh file to hermimg.nbh and put it on a smaller than 2 Gb SD card formated to Fat32, then enter bootloader (power, ok, reset) and wait till the device asks you to press power button to start upgrading.
i try
oki, i will try it and let you know.. btw... jade is FANTASTIC...
never a problem after flashing with olinex hard spl..
thanks for the help..
i bring him in bootloader, but stucks there.. what now?
I've installed some ROMs before. Today's one, stucked at 20%, only possibility was to reset device. And - there is problem, after reseting I've chosen (by mistake) option by which phone memory should be erased. So now I got clean Internal memory, and no diamimg.nbh on it, so I don't know how to bring diamond to life.
Any help?
jusr make a reset with vol down pressed to enter bootloader mode, connect to computer and flash any rom with diamondcustomruu+.nbh file of the rom
Will diamondcustomruu see my phone if it can be started only in BootLoader mode? I'm connecting my phone in this mode to PC, however customRRU doesen't see it (windows does - it's recognized as qualcomm) .
EDIT: As for now, only possibility i see is connecting phone to USB host : http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=490 . Any other ideas?
EDIT2: OK. I've unchecked USB connection in ActiveSync to connect mtty. Flashing right now.
EDIT3: It did work. Diamond is alive. Problem SOLVED.
Device charges but that's all.
Nothing detected in USB devices. I tried factory reset and different cables. No good.
I get no Android file transfer program ( I'm on a mac) when I plug into USB.
Any ideas?

I had major problems as well. Remove your SD card and download the 510 stock rom. Reinsert SD card and manually boot in recovery by powering off your device, then holding the down button and powering on your device while still holding the down button. This will put you into your bootloader where you will be able to access recovery and install the 510 stock rom.
of course, if you have a good backup you can skip the last part and once in recovery restore your backup to get you back into action. Look in the developer section for further possible ways to do this there is a full backup that you can install from TWRP that may solve your problem. I was unable to make it work, and am hoping somebody will find an answer for me, but maybe it will work for you!

Turns out all three of he usb cables I tried were bad
Got that fixed.
Hello people,
First of all, I'm new here with english as my secondary language, so be easy with me, please.
So, I have my unrooted LG G3 D855 with locked bootloader and when I'm trying to boot it up 'Kernel Crash' appears with options to 'reboot' (which makes it back to crash again) and Dload Mode (it doesn't do anything). I saw posts with it but I didn't find fix for myself. I tried to install custom recovery and get custom ROM but my 'USB debugging' is not enabled. I tried finding threads with enabling USB debugging via PC but I dind't find proper answer. I also tried to enter in mode where you can make a factory reset, tried it and Kernel Crash appeared again. And sometimes crash doesn't appear but then I'm stuck with boot loop.
Did I do something wrong ? Is it even possible to do anything to make it work ? I don't need data or media, just need to make my phone work.
I hope it's a good thread and someone can actually help me. Thank you.
I had "Demigod kernel crash" and solved by reflashing phone with a professional box using 910k USB cable, since LG software upgrade didn't recognize the phone
I wasn't able to save internal memory data because TWRP crashed at startup and was formatted in F2FS
Since you have locked BL you just have to reflash stock ROM, just hope that phone will be recognized from PC

Is your device goes to DOWNLOAD mode? (You can do this by powering off device completely then hold volume up key and insert usb cable).
If you have DOWNLOAD mode, then flash stock firmware. (Remember, if you flash using LG Flash Tool, then you have two options of flashing (Normal Flash & CSE Flash. In normal flash, your internal memory will not formatted. In CSE flash, internal memory will be formatted. This is what i learnt from my experiments.). I'll hope this helps.
Hello everyone!
I bought a Note 8 Pro more than 2 years ago and never had a problem.
During classical use, the phone crashed and entered in Fastboot mode.
I admit I never enabled developer options, so no usb debugging and the bootloader was never unlocked, so i used it like a common user.
Before wipe everything inside it unlocking the bootloader, I'm trying to find a way to browse the internal memory and save it.
I don't care how to do it: browsing it booting a temporary ROM and putting an SD card to bring outside the files, or connecting to the PC and opening the memory like a Flash Drive...
The matter is that the phone is permanently stuck in Fastboot mode and there is no way (that i know) to put it in recovery or booting it normally, and connecting it to PC in this way doesn't let me browse anything.
Is there some hope to retrieve some personal files before a total wipe?
Thank you all

Try mtkclient (unlock bootloader unofficial for mediatek without losing data) (in your case will be harder because you cant totally turn off phone, bypass it first). Then flash suitable twrp (dont try to flash official one, it won't boot anyway) (recommend brp 3.5.2 v2.7 for Miui 12.0.x and brp 3.5.2 v3.1 for Miui 12.5.x . If you got lucky, your data not encrypted and you can take it back.
