I cannot seem to connect my newly bought (and third one to test) bluetooth headset, Sony Ericsson Akono HBH 660 to my Qtek 9090. I have done everything, I think, by the book but it recognises the device but after that I cannot seem to connect it and ofcourse not use it. Can somebody who had the same problem perhaps help me!! Is there something I am missing!! Thankx in advance.

Hi,
I have a Qtek 9090. I installed teh Bluetooth patch (I copied the *.cab file to the Qtek and ran it from the Qtek). Then I paired my Qtek with my Sony-Ericsson HBH-65 headset. The Qtek found the headset, I typed the security code and then the Qtek tried to connect.... but each time the connection failed
I did the same with a Jabra BT250 headset. Pairing was also no problem but connecting doesn't work
What am I doing wrong? Are there more BT patches available?
Thanks,
JeDa
what BT patch did u installed ?
once my HB 600 didnt connect anymore i just had to hard reset my 9090 and rebound the headset to make it works
a bit hard to reinstall all my stuff but now it works
btw i have no BT patch installed on mine maybe it s because of the "patch"

Hi! It is a brand new Sony Ericsson HBH-600 Akono Bluetooth Headset, which I thought would pair with no problem to my XdaIIs, but it is just not detected at all.
Anyone with a similar problem and anyonelse could suggest a fix (other than return to the seller)?
Many thanks.
OK, it is sorted now, please ignore the post above
i have a qtek 9090 and bought a sony ericsson HBH-610a. Unfortunately, i cant use it, as the services are not recognized. I would much appreciate your help.

giro
PDA2K with HBH-610a
I've got the same problem trying to connect the Sony Ericsson HBH-610a with my PDA2K.
I can detect the headset without problems, and pair them (the light on the headset switches to green), however when trying to add it in the BT Manager the PDA says it cannot detect any services from the headset . I get the same message when using the option to detect services on generic BT devices (bottom of BT manager).
I can detect services on Nokia phones with the PDA2K, and use the HBH-610a with Nokia phones, so I guess it must either be a setting in the PDA2K or problems with the BT connection itself.
Anyone can help? I managed to get a good price on the headset and wouldn't want ot have to change it. It's listed as compatible on the internet vendor's site (and several others) but not by i-Mate, nor by Sony Ericsson.
I recently aqquired a 02 xda IIs from ebay, great litlle device, so much better than my original XDA.
Mainly got it for the bluetooth functionality for my GPS device and headset.
However I cannot get my headset to connect.
Its paired up correctly, with standard passcode of 0000.
Headset is a sony ericsson HBH-608, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Problem with the bluetooth
Hi glen290
I had a similar problem with my device. At the end I made a hard resert and i installed the last drivers (1.0.0 Build 3900).
I do not know if the are a easier solution.
Regards.
I have an O2 Orbit with German WM6 installed. I had the same problem previously with WM5.
I attempt to connect with my HAMA Clipper Handsfree. The Orbit says it cannot find any BT devices. The I tried my HS515 BT headset, again the Orbit says it cannot find any BT devices. The HS515 has been reset to the factory standard.
The Orbit is configured as visible and both of these devices pair successfully to a Siemens SX1 and a MOTO RAZR. The only thing that works is the BT LED on the Orbit. Am I missing something or is the Orbit defective?
It appears to be a Profile Problem as the Orbit finds other BT Telephones. Any ideas? A hard reset did not help either.
Problem solved.
Alors ?
can you post the solution please... i think it could help me...
Thanks
