Low level audio during taking videos with blueangel_pda2k - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Since the day i bought pda2k the level of the recorded audio, when i take videos, usinghe video camera is low.
I dont like this since my sony ericsson p910 had an exelent sound level.
When i use the sound recorder (notes) of the device the sould level i exelent and high (set at 44.1khz 16 bit stereo).
Is there any camera patch to fix this issue?

[Q] Stereo video recording not true stereo when played back ?

We all know that the One X supports stereo recording while making videos.
I have tried this out by turning on music on my computer while recording with the HTC at the same time. I had my One X in the middle of the left and right speaker and i played with the balance on my pc from left to right.
When i playback the recorded video from my HTC One X on my pc i can't hear any difference when i'm panning (or balancing from left to right speaker) but instead hear both speakers all the time like it's mono..
So my question is what is really the difference with this Stereo recording compared to mono recording ?
I would have expected that i hear the difference in balance but i don't

Is There a Better Microphone 4 Live Recording?

Hey everyone. Is there a better microphone? I'm tired of recording video on this phone and having the audio playback completely distorted. I am trying to use my Hercules as a secondary video cam when I am shooting live music. It seems no matter loud or quiet the band is or where I am relative to monitors or pa speakers, the audio when played back is completely worthless and not usable no matter how I manipulate the audio track with filters, compression, removing background noise, etc... . If anyone has an idea other than buying a second GoPro videocam, I would gladly listen.

Quiet Audio from MX Video Player? Volume Boost?

Hello,
I've been using MX Player to play some previously encoded videos from Handbrake. The issue I'm having is that the audio is a bit too quiet to comfortable listen to using earphones or the device speakers.
I've adjusted the gain in Handbrake and performed some tests but the problem is to achieve a loud enough volume the Audio track from the video becomes slightly distorted in places which is extremely unpleasant.
Is there a way to adjust the N7's maximum volume or maybe a separate app/settings that may boost the output volume?
I've left my handbrake settings at Gain +5 but I'd still like the volume a little louder if possible. I have also checked that once ading gain to the video encode it was definitely the audio track that was distorted rather than the N7's output being pushed too far. I used the same video files on other playback methods and the distortion was still present.
Thanks
Volume 16-30 in MX Player should be a boost. If you're using 30 volume in MX Player and it's very quiet there must be something wrong with the handbrake settings(?)

Is Settings, Audio, Volume Boost enabled?

I also think you have to use HW+ decoding to get the volume boost capability.

Get the Noozxoid custom codec somewhere in this forum. Great tone and volume, especially when you plug it aux or earphones!

Recording Audio

Hey Guys,
I have a question, me being lame tried to record a live set from a dj without the video (I did not want to separate the two) but the built in audio recorder records only in mono....
Is there any recording software which :
- Stereo
- uses the full capability of the Microphone(s)
Thanks in advance!
I bought this phone to record stereo audio, but am having the same problems.
Does it record stereo video?
Then why not stereo audio!?
It really bothers me that no one has ever found a way how to bypass the camcorder lock on the stereo microphones.
I tried ALL RECORDING APPS on the market. And with every possible setting!
Everything is always mono. Using just the bottom Mic.
I Even tried nTrack and Fruity Loops, Field Recorder, etc.
Only way to record HDR Stereo Sound is by using the original HTC Camcorder app in 720p (to save storage space) and then to copy the audio out using
a converter. (I always set saturation to black and white, Exposure down to -2 and fixate the focus on a bright light to keep the overall video black to just save more space)
I then use Media Coder on Windows, or the MP3 Video Converter app that comes with TubeMate. No need to convert the audio, it just takes the audio track out of video without doing any alterations.
But still a big Problem. The Camera app always turns up the Background Light to 100% by default (and you can't even manually turn it down) so it eats up your battery.
(Any other camera app on the market doesn't do stereo either)
And the MP4 Video Files are huge compared to the AAC audio files, so no possible way to record stuff that's longer than 4 hours (unless you have several SD Cards and a Power Outlet at hand.
PLEASE!! If Any Of You Pros Are Reading This! Help Us!!!
I think it shouldn't be too hard to tear down the pre installed HTC Camera app programming, to find the key for unlocking the ways of Stereo Recording of Audio Only.
If I only had any programming knowledge I would try it myself.
But I can't even write a Pong game...

weired sound from speakers.

Today i was checking my 2days old pixel 2 xl.. and found something weired. Very noticable at full volume..
The speakers ( both top and bottom) plays music with crackling sound. It happens with all players.. including mx and youtube.
Seems like playing some low bitrate audio/video even when i am playing 4k hdr10 webm file ( which i downloaded to check hdr)
I thought it was due to some audio mods from xposed.. so i removed it and check again.. its still there..
Did someone have the same issue?
I can blast youtube videos or music at full blast and it sounds fine but yes, others have reported distorted audio output from the speakers on these phones.
I had my first device sent back for this reason. I haven't noticed it yet on my second one.
