HTC Website

Hi, im new to this site and am about to buy an Orange M2000,
I have been looking for HTC's website and cant find it again.
Also are there any issuses with this version of the xda ll?

apparently no site... snifff No HTC site and No Qtek site
for the products but for financial info have a website...
only money has the importance, not the customers... :shock:

As HTC is Taiwan based company, it has the website here: http://www.htc.com.tw

No QTEK
support though - where do we get firmware updates from when they arrive?
Also, how about Windows Pocket - as far as I can see on the Windows Mobile site there's no downloads/support available.
For one we need the WiFi upgraded at some point...
Better buy an iMater, they have a support page and forum. :?

The ROM dance

I'm about the buy an MDA compact from Germany because the Imate Jam won't be out for a while yet.
One German site selling it http://www.nowicom.com says that they'll release an English ROM for the German device on Thursday, 25 Nov 2004.
I may be buying from another site if I find it cheaper. Will I be able to use the nowicom ROM as it's the same hardware.
Now, if the answer to the above is "yes", can I also upgrade to the Imate ROMs when they're available?
I read somewhere that Imate offer more frequent ROM updates than most competitors. This is why I ask.
In case you haven't noticed, I want it quick and I want it all. :twisted:

Try www.expansys.com. They sell SIM free xda IIs disguised as " i-mate PDA2K Pocket PC", as well as xda II alias "i-mate Pocket PC". It may be worth while to check the prices in different locations - they seem to vary a lot. A list of places offering the xda IIs can be found in http://www.expansys.de/error.asp?exit=015&data=I-MATE_III.

You also may considering deShop.
They've got the Imate version and the Qtek version. They also got a lot off accessories for the devices, like cases... they're really the only shop I found with so much accessories!!
I bought there the Imate PDA2K, the Piel Frama case, brodit holder, and just made I new order for the Imate JAM, brodit holder and an alucase for the PDA2K.
They 've nice services and very good prices... even shipping to Belgium (this shop is located in the Netherlands)

PL HELP - where can i buy o2 exec/imate jasjar IN GERMANY.

Hello friends , i am visiting GERMANY [this month] for wire and tube expo.
Will be staying in Dusseldorf from 24th-26th and then will shift to Hannover for 3-4 days.
Can u tell where can i buy o2 exec/imate jasjar .And any idea how much it will cost in euros?????

O2 germany don't sell the Exec here, and i-mate also don't sell anything in germany. the Universal is here only available as MDA Pro and VPA 4.
But i recommence you to buy it in your country, because of the sim/netlock and the hardware keyboard!!!

O2 Germany first to release WM6 device!!! Lets Get That ROM..

Just over a month ago, O2 Germany came clean and announced the future availability of the Xda terra, and now the carrier will forever hold the crown of being the first major provider to offer up and ship a Windows Mobile 6 Professional handset. Sure enough, O2's Germany webstore proudly displays the dashing mobile, lists the specs that you've already memorized, and mentions that it now includes a two-megapixel camera to boot. Of course, being first in line always comes at a premium, and from what we can gather through the (admittedly sketchy) translation, the lowest price point you'll be reaching is €279.99 ($382) bundled with a contract. Additionally, O2 lists the handset sans agreement for a stiff €519.99 ($710), but it looks like those will only be available from retail locations -- decisions, decisions.
