Hi
Does anyone here in this forum know of a good software which they use for switching between phone profiles.
I had an IPAQ 6315 earlier and holding the power button use to get me to the phone profile menu..
Do we have something like this in Blue Angel ... or any good software.
I have tried Phone Alarm but found it crappy.

By the way I have just installed Vito Voice Dialer...its really neat and also supports bluetooth.
I have also tried the Batery pack...but I don`t like it...now I`m using SPB Pocket Plus...try it I think it will be suitable for your use

Does anyone know if there is any program with which you could set up "Profiles" in the BA, much like there are in Nokia phones? Or does one have to use the volume slider each time one has to put the phone is silent mode? Many thanks in advance for any help in the matter....
Namaste,
Have a look at this link to Pocket Zen Phone web site.
This may be what you're looking for.
See you (may be around Delhi one day?)

Thank you Toche and dmmh for the prompt response, and yes Toche, see you if you're in Delhi!
You can also use PPCProfiles Pro, which adds profiles to your PPC Phone Edition device, but is FREEWARE.
You can download it at http:\\www.modaco.com.
How about O2 plus? You'll be able to setup different profile...

I stumbled across this in the Universal WM6 Forum.
I can't take credit for it, Szilamer is the creator of this neat little fix.
See the original thread here.
I simply modified his cab file to include the signed dll (so it will auto start on our Hermes) and added the settings for button size and location.
You need to install both Cab files and then restart your device.
This will be embedded into WMXL v0.30 but I didn't think it was right to make you guys wait once we got it working properly.
Enjoy....
Finally!!Great work, like always..
wiki updated.
(lol like a hawk!)
Hey, thanks for scouting this solution out for us, man!
Good luck tomorrow on the house transaction. Always lots of fun, those.
Best regards
Ben
EDIT: Not just scouting it out but getting Szilamer to tweak it for the Hermes!
sweet! Does the job perfectly
Excellent! I've been looking forward to this. It works like a charm

I think you and I were on that thread at the same time. Excellent you got it to auto start.
Good luck with closing and hope all goes well. Right after they give you the keys, run
Thank you it works great in LVSW Rom, only that it appear over the old wireless manager link.. great job.
great work
thank you very much
only that it appear over the old wireless manager link.. great job.
if you know how to move it to left side,so be cool
The placement is by design (the link it covers does not currently work in WM6).
If you really want to move it then read the original thread, it explains what registry keys to change.

After install the 2 cabs, reset, having fun turning on & off wifi, I'm experiencing a weird problem. The phone felt into deep coma if I turned on Wifi then put it on standby using the power button, the only way I can turn it back on is do a reset. I remove the cab and the problem is gone. I tested it several times already. Anyone else have this problem?
btw, I'm using the LVSW Edition (2007-03-20).

Same ROM, exact same problem... soft reset only solution.
If not a problem on ROMs other than 320LVSW, maybe conflicts with new 'wireless manager' bubble?
Cheers
Same problem on Black v1.2

I changed the xpos to 7 in the registry and it's now on the left side of the bubble.
So this was the reason for hermes freezing on LVSW (20-3-2007).
I removed cab.
I have thought that it was the reason of the rom.
Thank you, Passenger!
By the way...the best position for me was x=6.
Freezes
Hmm, that's strange.. It's working great with suspends on Universal.
Does everybody have this problem with freezes ?
(Even with WMXL version?)
Anyway there is one more method to switch on/off wifi .. (with the help of ossvcs.dll)
take a look....its not just for smartphones!

Need a feedback from someone who has tried it!
HAPPY NEW 2008!
looks good
works great
the touch movement is so smooth & light to use....unlike the touch flo with some on the roms
and this seems to be the cab...
working great
Hi dudes, just install it, working great on Trinity. really smooth, amazing stuff, thanks for the great post bro.
yes i think many will be shocked at how good this home cab really is
you guy need to try it....what have you to lose
The directories in the German WM6 version don't match.
For example directory "start menu" is "Startmenü".
The PointUI Software does not find the programs.

I have loaded it on my Trinity running AX3L 3.12. It all seems to be working ok except that the time won't change to 24hr mode and the dialer won't work in the call history. I've tried changing the region etc., it still dials and I get a message from my provider saying that it is not a valid number. If I go to my normal call history in Windows 6, it works as normal.
Also, touch flow doesn't seem to work proplerly outside of the Home environment. I have uninstalled my 1.41 touchflow because it conflicts with the Home app gestures. So now touchflow only works within the Home app.
If I go to Wifi settings, Home takes me to the GSM data connection settings, not Wifi settings. The battery icon at the top doesn't indicate charging, and although I haven't tested Home for very long, it may be a battery eater...too early to tell for sure.
For the first incarnation, this looks very promising.
any problems just sign up to there forum
they are a very helpful bunch of people

Tried!
Works!
Lived 2 minutes.
Uninstalled!
I don't really like the touch things, neither flow not this.
Plus, it hung several times while I tried to set weather location for my city.
Also, I have my Trinity all black, this is nice, but blue.
i hope this will be available in android.. as as 1 of the gui!!... great..
Looks nice but is there any easy way to get into the contacts from this software?
Would be nice if one could change the colour of it too.
Revised version with a little more customization available for download already. these developers do listen!
Version 1.0 had some language issues.
Version 1.01b drained my battery within 1/2 day.
Best "Finger"-Software but not stable on the P3600.
have had it for 2days on my m700 working great very finger friendly battery nothing unusual to speak off the same as always and im using Schaps Wm6 WWE rom which by the way rocks
Great product and for free. Love it!
Definitely worth a donation to keep it free and updated

Do you know what's the different of this ROM??
Thanks
Flashed the M2D one & its quick, the best one the man's cooked yet. Just installed the volume control cab & a few other apps, even changed the iphone theme & it's still fast, no bugs as of yet i can find but will let you's know !!
Flashed the M2D, too.
very nice, but
The MessageTab (has to be activated by M2DC) doesnt work.
Did anyone make the same experience?
transylvania,
Flash it twice,
If going to change theme do it first then re-boot, use your M2DC to sort whatever you want then enable the messaging last, worked for me !!
Hi guys, flashed the basic version, works really well no bugs until now.
I tried to install htc menu enhancement but dont work.
Otherwise is really fast.
Regards
@droy68
Thanks for the advice - MessageTab works now!
and a special thank to
dheewatara-s
Great Job!!!
By the way, I can't see the ä,ö,ü in my sms, and my contcacts, is there any possibility to change this?
there are only Symbols instead of the "Umlaute" (it's a german thing only, so you can't translate it)
It is very old ROM.
Newest build 21189 @ 21193.
i am running the simple style one for a week now - man this sure is an alternative to the yue roms - speedy, slim, stable, added the "keep running with screen off", includes sound booster, 7 day gps tweak and many other goodies..
highly recommendable
greetz
edit:
wmp with screen off tweak is working with plugged in headset!:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Power\State\Unattended]
"WAV1:"=dword:00000000
i agree with that...
i'm using the lite since one day and it's good
but i recommend to change the pool size to 6 cuz it sitted to 4 to be more faster
Please keep posting your experience with this ROM, thank you!
frustrating once again...
marvelous rom, but drains me dead within two days, where yues extraclean runs a full 7 days, with approx. adequate usage
greetz
p.s.
am currently experimenting with an iphone 2g 16GB, but am missin my p330 already
@all,
is there any way to keep using resco home plugin, but use the standard dialer keyboard once pressing the green dialer button of the artemis?
thanx
EDIT: Found it:
Go to Start>Programs>Resco Contact Manager>Options and on the General tab uncheck the "Handle Incoming Calls" option and in "Send key Action" choose "Do not override" option.
greetz
Hey there guys, been reading the forums for a little while but this will be my first post as in the last 2 weeks or so i;ve been messing around with flashing some roms to my artemis and thought i'd give this a go. Its ref the messaging tab. Now i read the post on the previous page about it, did it but when i switched my device back on it seems that the messaging tab on M2d doesn't want to function. Anyone else having a similar thing whereby it works, then doesn't?
Just a few words to explain the most
bye bye yue you had your time
this rom rocks, running the simple beta1 version
TomTom or Navigon never ran faster then this on any rom for me, including the fixes.
keeper for sure.
only needed to edit the country setting, going for a small start menu and i'm happy
after fresh install 25mb mem free, with all those appzzzzzz, that's how i like it
