I just loaded xda and can't find how to go back to am/pm from military time....if it's there I can't find it?
if you mean military time as in 24:00 notation , then I believe it is located in your regional settings (Start/settings/System/Regional settings)
Setting it to English (United States) should do it.

When I add a new contact the country defaults to United States, I did a search but no messages found which were relevant. How do I change the default country to United Kingdom... I've checked all the settings and they are English (United Kingdom)
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Ivan
I have problem with weather tab in my HTC. I am from Poland so I use polish language. In weather tab (under the clock in home too) there is bug of translation. There should be 2 leters - "H:" (english) - max temperature and "L:" (english) - min temperature. When I use polish language there are "d:" and "L:" -it is wrong translation - it should be "W:" and "N:". I would like to change it but I do not know how. Where is the language file in my HTC device?
My HTC weather widget is not showing the name of my location. It shows the right temp for the area, but instead of the name of the city, it just says "Current Location"
Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. If you put more than one city in it will do that or put a city name. Go into the settings and use gps location and not a city name. Also take the widget off of the screen and reinstall it. This worked for me.

Go into settings/ language and keyboard. if you are running miks it will say (HD) English, tap that and then tap English. If you are running another rom just make sure you select English (United States) and presto your city name will be back. This will stick through a regular reboot but it won't stick if you wipe cach anc davlik and you will have to change it to English again.
Hope this helps.

Neither of those worked It was doing this on stock before I even rooted. I rooted and installed Warm Rom and it still does it.
Yikes. While trying to REMOVE unused languages I accidentally set my language to Chinese (or some other Asian language) and now cannot navigate my way back to English (since settings are now in Chinese)!
Any way to get out of this?

go to setting (see the icon) then go to locale and text (icon will be like paper with letter A) and then click on first option and scroll down to English language

Been trying to do that for an hour! Thank you so much!
Hi, I accidentally choose US English during the first boot, now I want to change the language to UK English, my father is using the watch and he has British accent, does changing the voice language (google now) and language on phone affect the watch also? or it's separate?
