I have the O2 xdaIIi and was advised to purchase the Jabra BT250v headset to use with my pda/phone and the fonix voice dial function. The headset connects easily and will let me receive calls by pressing button on headset. I can make calls using the phone pad on the pda.
I can not initiate the fonix voice dialling software by pressing the button on the headset as described. I have to press the button on the headset first to establish connection between the two and then press the voice dialling button on pda, clearly this is not right........anyone help?
I am not sure if it will work as the Imate phones don't have profiles for voice recognition. I maybe wrong though...

Is anyone here experiencing a lag of 2-5 secs when making or answering a call with a Jabra BT800 & XDA IIs ?
I can't speak for that exact combination, but if I'm using my headset (a Logitech one) with either my XDA IIs or C500, there are noticable delays between the call registering as incoming on the handsets, and the initiation of the bluetooth "intercept" of that call. I guess it's down to the BT stack of the handset needing to
a) Recognise that there's a call coming in
b) Check that there's a BT headset paired and active
c) Send an incoming call signal to the headset
d) Wait for the headset to respond
e) Pair securely on an uncluttered frequency with the headset
In an ideal world, all of this would be instantaneous
There's also a pause of about 1 second between the time I press the 'answer' button on my headset and when I can talk. Even though I can hear the call in the earpiece, I have to wait for a second before I can say "hello"
In short; I'd say a two second overall delay is probably the time taken for the bluetooth headset initiation to complete, but longer than this might indicate some problems with signal strength etc.
Greetings,
I am trying to activate the voice dialing using the original stereo headset that came with the device, by clicking on the button, but nothing happens! Is there anything I should to?? I have tested the headset by calling myself and it's working fine apart from voice dialing activation.
Thanks.
I have TyTN with Windows Mobile 6.1 - thistime without integrated voice dial with headset (supporting A2DP and AVRCP) Therefore I have installed 3rd party app for voice dial. (VITO VoiceDialer)
But unfortunatly the button on headset for speed dial is not working. (other buttons like music forward/backward, redial last number are working)
Is there any way to hook the headset-button or emulate it as HW button on device. Such as Button 1, Button 2 etc.? Or assign default voice dial application?
Thank you for any tip
still not solved
I have found tutorial for eten, but not working on my tytn, rly weird

Hi there,
It´s my first post on this forum. I have a P3300 and thanks to this forum i got so many stuff for it.
Yesterday I bought a Motorola H700 BT Headset. I´ve paired the the headset and made some calls, but i dunno how to setup the headset buttons. When i tap the headset call button it calls the dialer and if i hold it dials the last number.
Can i remap the buttons to call the cyberon voice speed dial?
Thanks
I have a problem with handsfree bluetooth (jawbone prime).
When I make an outgoing call, everthing works fine. But when i have an incoming call, it sometime doesn't change to handsfree mode automatically, I have to turn it on manually.
Are there any solution, please help me
Hi,
If you answer the call with the phone buttons, it's redirected to the phone, not to the BT headset. If you answer the call with the BT button, it should be always redirected to the headset.
