Can I use both sd and sdio cards in this device?
Secondly I notice that sdio cards come with wifi or something. Does this mean that I have to buy an sdio wifi card for me to connect via wifi to my pc or is it already built into the system?
Sorry for sounding thick but I am so new to this....
Yes u can use SD card&SDIO acessesories for ur XDA IIi
XDA IIi have already wifi built-in so no need to buy wifi card.
Good luck !
Thank you

Anyone want to buy or swap for my SanDisk SDIO WiFi+256M card for something other than an XDA2? Yes, I bought it in error. Yes, I should've read here first. And yes, it's lying around, unused...
I'd be happy to do a swap for a card without the memory...
Card for trade
I have a Viewsonic SDIO Wi-Fi card I will trade you. The card is 802.11B OEM from Socket Communications. It has the Viewsonic drivers included but Socket drivers may work as well. Let me know if you need additional info.
I have searched through several forums and have not been able to find an answer for the problem that i am having with my Acer A100 7" Tablet and was wondering if anyone else out there has experienced the same thing. my wifi connection works great but when i insert a Micro SD card into the external slot my Wifi connection gets disconnected and i can only reconnect once i remove the Micro SD card...... Please if anyone can help i would be greatful, this is an awesome tab
Is this with any micro sd card? I've seen cards do weird things.
i dont know i only have one micro sd card and that is Dane-Elec micro sd HC 8GB it works great in my 8" Visio tablet but cuts the internet connection when i put it into the Acer A100, i can access thee card it just cancels the wifi connection for some reason
ok problem solved i took my SanDisk 8GB micro sd card out of my android phone and put it into the Acer A100 tablet and i am now able to have the micro sd card in and access the wifi with no problems thanks for all the help, oh the other micro sd card i was trying to use in the Acer i now have in my android phone at it is working fine, Merry Christmas to all.
P.S. Acers support sucks

even i want to know about this
prototypes available only, not yet out for mass production on phones.
I've a phone with NFC
There's a chips in the phone and a antenna in the battery
All that in micro sd card, it's weird
is it possible to have nfc on our plays?
I know, its related with hardware!
But just think, if we can upgrade the bluetooth version in an update, also, make the wifi network strong and fast rite? So why not this nfc or something like that in new ics?
I will wait if someone tries to do this!
Impossible, we have no NFC chip
no need to worry.
i read somewhere that nfc chip will come inside the simcard.
and also the chip that compatible with microsd slot.
btw look at iphone external nfc chip accessories.
there are many optional solutions though..
ya anyways, just was a thought if it comes, it will be good then
R800 no chip nfc
Yes Sony are going to be doing a package with NFC sd card and a prepaid top up card. I can't wait I just hope they do a 32gb sd. Oh the package for Samsungs NFC sd chips are 27 pounds but thats only a 1gb :-( so Sony will probably be about the same prices.

Moneto just released their nfc sdcard for the Samsung galaxy s phones with Sony coming soon. $30 for the sdcard with the android app on the market. You even get a $10 credit care you can use with your new nfc card. Thing I don't like is its for a 1gb card which is pitifully small considering I use a 32gb card that is almost full. By the time they make a 32gb card we will all be on new phones still its nice to see a company working on something like this.

Hi, I was thinking about expanding my device memory via micro sd card and of course i aimed for 64GB BUT then I asked myself "hey, how about 128GB? great idea!". So here's my question: have anyone tried 128GB card in our S3 Neo?
It wont work ... s3 neo only supports up to 64GB
I am using 64GB
Works perfectly

Galaxy S3 Neo supports up to 64GB MicroSD card :/
Quick tip: If you're going to buy your SD card online beware of fake cards !!!
I think it can handle it because my old phone only supported 32 GB and I inserted my 64 one and after a short time I could usw it normally so it should work too.

Buy in online store, test SD card and return it if it does not work. If you live in EU i think you have 14 days to contact, return and get refund from item.

I tried. It won't work. It only see card and see it is 128 gb but you can't use it. Every time when you going to do something on your SD you will see notification with mistakes
