Hi all...
I am a new imate JAM user... I had 1.03 version rom and I upgraded to 1.06 from imate site.. my imate is working fine..
But as I gone thru this forum... I heard of WM2005 beta version is released... I have software downloaded with me along with Active sync 4.0 but I am hesitant to try with my new imate JAM.. is it trust worthy and can I upgrade my wM2003 SE to this new one..
Kindly let me know ur suggestions..

I have a i-mate 2003 version i would liek to upgradeto WM6 can i do it? if i can how shall i go about it? can somebody help me in this regard.

you have to be more spc imate made alot of pda's which came with pocketpc2003

I am not sure which version of i-mate. But I have i-mate sp3i, and I upgraded to WM6. Go here for instructions.

I am new to this forum. And i just wanted to know, out of all these rom updates which rom update is most suitable and stable for my imate JASJAR. When i was younger i downloaded an update which made my JASJAR WM6 but it is sort of laggy and has slight problems with recieving calls sometimes.
So, can i please get anyone's opinions, particularly people who have experience with this or even people who own an Imate JASJAR and have updated their own device..

jasjar is the same as Dopod 900 / Qtek 9000 / SFR v1640 / Vodafone v1640 / Vodafone VPA IV / T-Mobile MDA Pro / O2 Xda Exec / Orange SPV M5000 / Grundig GR980 / E-Plus PDA IV. So yes you are in the right section

Hi again
i have loaded the rom onto my Uni, synced all the contacts etc. BUT when i activate pin number, it says type in your pin number. I typed it in, (ie the pin number i used b4 rom update), but it doesnt recognise it.
Does this mean, there is a problem or has the pin number gone back to default?????

I was using I-Mate PDAL and was very happy that to see that all kind of upgrade version was easily available on XDA-DEVELOPER. I was little bit un comfortable with PDAL because it does not have keyboard. So I changed it with JAQ3. When I bought it had WM6 installed in it but I downgraded it to wm5 just for fun. I was pretty sure that I can find the upgrade version of the WM for my JAQ3 from this forum. I am really surprised to see that its not available. Now I am missing my PDAL and hate this JAQ3 just because that i can upgrade it to any other WM.
If the upgrade is available in this site, kindly reply me through this forum or through email ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected]).

sorry there is no way to re upgrade your device bak to wm6, n wm6 is the latest available for jaq3, and as it is a non-htc manufactured device its roms r not being developed!
