Hi all,
I am using the code to send sms with compact frame available in MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnnetcomp/html/netcfsendsms.asp).
The problem is that I can't set it up so that the received SMS would be stored in the SIM card. It only flashs in the screen.
I need to use PS_MESSAGE_CLASS3 but it is using PS_MESSAGE_CLASS0 and I don't know how to change it.
Can anyone help me, it's very urgent?

My service provider is Telus. And I'm trying to look for a new SMS text message application. Because I am unable to send pictures through a text like I used to with my older phones, nor can I receive them directly without having to sign into my account online.
I'm just curious to know if there is a way to get picture messages directly to my phone and also send pictures to other phones if I needed to.
Thanks in advance!
You mean MMS? In the menu choose New->MMS (It's first option with SMS below it). That will allow you to send business cards, pictures and videos with your message.
Try this
SMSBuddy 1.0
External Mirror [EXE]

External Mirror [MSI]

External Mirror [CAB]

Hi all you great helpers out there! I've gained so much knowledge from all you guys on this forum. It's soooooo helpful!!! Thanks!!!
When I receive a vcard via sms, I click on the vcard in the sms reader and up pops the message "the vcard has been imported successfully".
Great me thinks!
But when I actually try to find the contact in my contacts, it simply isnt there!!!!
HELP!!!
Thanks a billion for your help!
I had the same. In the end I selected the phone number and pasted it in a new contact manually :-(
Well, here's some things I know and maybe this will help you out.
vCards are imported into the phone memory. You don't have a choice.
If you have set you phone to view only a certain type of contacts (e.g. just Google contacts) then you won't see any contact sent to you via SMS or MMS. If this is the case, the just go to People - Menu - View and select the phone contacts to view as well.

Thanks for this. I've checked, but sadly, my people view isn't restricted yet I still can't see the contact my phone told me that it just saved.
Is there any way at all to send contact info to a third person via vcard, sms or anything? There's no cut and paste - so, do we really have to write it down on paper, then enter it into an sms to send a one contacts info to another?

First, make sure you're not sending it to a land line.
2nd, did you try removing the + sign? I'm not so sure how the codes work in your country/area but in here (Canada), it will add a +1[areacode]-[number] when the contact is saved from a received sms.
3rd, can you receive sms from those contacts?
P.S.: Don't double post.

This was an issue with some verizon ports with the SecPhone and SecContacts apps adding a + in front of the numbers and at&t not being able to call back or text back directly to that number. The contacts app might not be setup to work with the + extension added. You could try pushing a different carriers SecContacts/SecPhone apk to system or using a 3rd party app
