Take a tour at Sim Lim Square or Funan Center. They're the electronics centers of S'pore.
Over there you can buy electronics products like cameras, PDAs, PCs, surveillance devices, projectors, TVs etc etc.
However, make sure you check the prices of the products you want before buying because many shops will cut your throat especially for foreigners.
Go over to www.ppcsg.com to enquire for more info on which shops to buy from and those consider blacklisted.

Hello all,
the display suffered after someone slammed my attache case... unfortunately I was out of the room, so I can't nail someone specific to the wall...
I'm located in Germany, and the T-Mobile demand outrageous prices for the display replacement, so I would like to know where I can purchase a replacement display to replace it myself..
any help, hints, suggestions, sources would be appreciated.
thanks.
all the best

sell the phone to me for 50$
I may be a salesman, but SORRY, no.
Look, if i'd wanted to sell it, i'd have dumped it on eBay long ago. Locally, theres a lot of people looking for cheap spares as well. No, I want to fix it so I can use it parallel to my MDA I .
all the best,
mike
Hi,

Thanks-now all I have to consider if I should pa 199 Euros here or 199 dollars in the us and how high the duties and freight would set me back...
all the best,

Hey guys, I have decided that this handset is far too unstable for my needs. A 76% chance of the 'no sound in call' issue is too much for me.
As some of you have prolbably read, due to the whistling screen I am getting a brand new XDA2s sent to me by 02. Should arrive very soon. I am going to sell or swap it before even opening the box and try for either an XDA2i, iMate Jam or Sony Ericsson P910.
I thought, seeing as you were all so supportive and helpful I would offer this forum first shout at it before I put it on ebay. I will sell it for a slightly lower price in appreciation. If anyone has any offers of swaps or money I will consider anything.
Sorry if this is against the forum rules. If it is I will gladly retract the thread.
Cheers -Mike
ah well, shame you said today, as my bro wanted one and he just entered into a 12 month contract just to get one!!!! id have prob made you an offer!!!
Hmmm, I solved the Call silence problem by upgrading just the Radio Rom to 1.12. Never had the screen issue tho.
As for stability, Corporate Mode solves all.
Give the new one a chance.
Or pm me if still selling.
Well theres the problem, I'm not up for taking it out the box to give it a chance when the odds of a crappy screen or crappy radio hardware are so high. I'd rather just buy something I know will work.
I am defo still interested in selling. I gather you can buy an XDA2s on ebay for around £310. I'll probably sell for about £285 if anyone fancies it.
I've seen them go on eBay for £225 so good luck getting that price.
I might be interested in swapping my Brand New XDA2i for the 2s. The 2i has all the original packaging obviously and is unlocked.
Make me an offer as the 2i is worth slightly more.

Really?!?! For boxed brand new ones? I only checked what was on today and £300 seemed about average. Hmmm, perhaps I'll ebay it.
Considering the 2i offer. Thery're both the same price from the O2 shop. I know 'cos the 2s was actually an insurance replacement for my XDA2 and I had the choice of 2i or 2s.
It's a shame to sell 'cos the 2s is such a nice concept, but it all seems so rushed. From what I read on these forums, changing ROMS rarely works for noticably improving stability. I really don't know if I trust HTC devices now. I mean before the BA, I had an XDA2 which was a bit more stable, but if I was ever waiting for an important call I' have to swap handsets. I also had the Orange C500 and it was appauling for receiption, no sound in calls and a lack of basic phone features :S
If anyone has a Sony Ericsson UIQ device I would gladly swap.
I also have a P910i which is brand new fully boxed and unlocked. I got it on an upgrade but I havent used at all.
add me to ur MSN contacts [email protected]
so we can chat about it.
Where abouts do you come from and how would be do the swap?
SCGriffiths I added you.

As for average pricing of the BA's on Ebay ( I tracked them for over a MONTH, before purchasing both an SPV M2000 and an XDA IIs ). I'd say that the prices have gone up and come down and gone back up again.
I just saw two auctions close within an hour of themselves, where someone got an MDA III for about 250 GBP, and an XDA IIs went for 311.99 GBP, so go figure. Some of the ones going for less we a year or so old, and rather used. Those have been seen for around 205-215 GBP.
So if you've got a brand NEW one, in the box, with the wrapper, I'd say START at 250GBP ( If you're not going to swap it ), and if you can get up to 300-320, you're not doing too bad.
Good luck. I haven't decided which one I'm going to sell the SPV or the XDA IIs. They're both unlocked ( Gee, I wonder where I got the software to unlock them....Hmmm )

O2 XDAiiS for sale - unwanted insurance replacement, still sealed in box and unopened.
No SIM card included.
(My office has decided to buy new pda's for everyone, so surplus to requirements!)
Will include spare docking station, spare usb connection cable, spare headphones and whatever other bits I can find from my original handset!
Cost £240 o.n.o.
(plus insured postage charge from Scotland to wherever you are).
cheers
How about if I lived in the Philippines, were you able to ship it out to me?
Hey mate,
I'm really interested if it's still for sale. I'm from Australia. Would you ship it out here?
Cheers

Sold! living in portland Oregon, and cingular replaced the original SX66 i purchased when they first came out (and still HAD the camera) with some piece of crap that didn't. and now 7 months later and 8 handset replcement attempts later, still can't get me one like the original i'd had. They Screwed me hard core, and it woiuld be a God send if you still had one to get rid of. incidently i still have an SX66 in a box, no camera of course, as well as an HP ipaq hw6515a in the box as well for trade or if interested.

Sorry folks - xdaiis handset now sold.
Best of luck in sourcing elsewhere.

looks like a good item but its impossible to buy this in my area...
i wonder if it easy to make this by yourself??
if so i would like shematics for it ... any ideas??
Not sure why you wouldn't be able to buy one of those in your area. You can buy those virtually anywhere in the US at least. Just about any place that carries electronics carries them. They only transmit over a distance of a few feet. I would bet that if you google for a short range fm transmitter you would easily find schematics for one.

there are alternative products to this that do the axact same job
and maybe cheaper too. in the uk where i'm living now it's only become legal to have and operate one in the last 6 to 8 months.
but I picked mine up off the internet just fine.
as far as building one,yes there are many fm transmitter schematics out there but most only do mono. these baby's are stereo
and cost to build yourself for the more complex stereo model would outweigh buying one even with shipping
they were ilegal where i live (well if you got goverment reg's as a radiostation it was legal )
but nobody will ever know being they dont transmit with much power
so i just bought one off ebay and it was ship'd from us without costing too much
was pretty cheap too cost 33$ or something
the law have since been changed and i can buy them in local stores
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=166893
this was the one i got
too bad the display got a bit defect though kinda diff to adjust it
i found one store but it was 100$ it is too much for thing that costs nothing in ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...efwidgettype=cross_promot_widget&isfrommerc=1
that type only have 4 band to pick from unlike the tunecastII which have many this can be a better option if radio stations where you live use all those 4
Guys,
We've tested most of the FM transmitters.. The $1 units on eBay perform like the price suggests - Don't waste your time... The Belkin Tunecast units are cheap enough and available in virtually every region. eg. (for the Aussies).
http://store.pressdigital.com.au/tunecast-mobile-transmitter-p-2020.html
They WORK.. There are some new long range units coming onto the market but regulations limit output power to under 100mw in most countries.
Have fun

I want to buy a headset Livesound MH1, has only in Europe (I'm from Brazil), i have asked to a number of ebay sellers and no one sends to Brazil by FedEx or DHL. Only Standart Flat. Standart is bad. It takes too long, especially in Brazil.
I want to buy but need to be sent quickly, so if it could be by FedEx or DHL, or other mode of fast delivery.
Here in Brazil, at the end of the year, the increase in imports causes problems and delays to receive normal orders.
If you know someone of this forum that sells accessories or direct me for a site where I can buy Livesound MH1, by paypal, thank you.
Ebay sellers (ebay.co.uk) only send Standart...
Thanks !
Hi, I am not a seller, but I have two sets of MH1, both are black, one is tottaly new.. And I could sell new one, cos I want to buy white one for my wife. So if you are interest, write me: [email protected] and we could deal
