Hi Im a bit of a n00b, and I am looking to buy the XDAIIS off f ebay or something like that. I am aware that the o2 version of the phone is called the XDA IIs but what are the other names for it?
Also is there any difference between them?
What would you recomend going for and are there any similar phones that are better value for money?
The XDAIIs is the O2 brand name for the device made by HTC under the name Blue Angel.
Its also for sale a ie. MDAIII from T-Mobile, PDA2K from iMate, 9090 from Qtek and (if i am correct) MVP2000 from Orange.
See the Blue Angel forum pages for more specific info

Vodafone going to release one called VPA or VDA forgot how it called
Siemens name for Blue Angel
Under the Siemens name, it is called the SX66
Here in Australia they are either O2 XDAIIs or Imate PDA2K and Imate PDA2k EVDO (CDMA) the latter two onlu sold through Telstra.

Not sure, but is XDA 2i O2's name for the Qtek 2020i?
Yesterday I droped my XDA2s (broken screen).
To get it fixed will take some time, and as I've got a friend coming over from KL in 4 days who can get me a 'cheap' XDA2i I was thinking of doing this.
I'm not really in need of a keyboard, so the XDA2i is a logical choice I think.
Any other suggestions?
