Anyone know how long the XDAII unlock programme takes to complete. seems to be reading the first block for an age!?
Mine took a few seconds.

Get the really easy question out of the way first. In the wiki and other places concerning making settings last through a soft restart to poweroff the device for 10-15 seconds. What exactly does that mean, just press the power button and wait 10-15 seconds? I thought that only turned the screen off...so is that not the same as just waiting 10-15 seconds or am I missing something.
Now to the GPS issue. I got a BT-338 and iGuidance (2.1.3 + WM5patch from the inav site) for Christmas and installed it on my laptop and BA (PDA2K w/WM5). Everything works correctly on the laptpop, it shows the correct coordinates and the software worked great as I drove around. However, when I use iGuidance on my PDA, it gives me incorrect coordinates (ex 22.625977N 2.347656W which is in Africa and I am in Alabama). I have checked out the posts at gpspassion.com and followed the standard setup. I feel like I have tried just about everything, but I just can't seem to get it working.
So, does anyone have any insight as to what the problem might be or have any ideas as to how to trouble shoot this problem?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Jonathon
I unlocked my at&t tilt about 4 months ago and ever since it has been very slow. Every time I stop using the phone for about 6 sec the phone just goes into hibernation even though I set the back light to 2min. Most of the time there is no response when I tap on screen or use a random button on phone.
The phone always freezes for no reason. When placing a call no mater how many times or how long i hold a number down it will not do a thing, it usually takes a while for it to work normally. Did I do something wrong when I tried to unlock my phone, because prior to unlocking I never had a single problem with the phone, or is this a problem with every at&t tilt out there after unlocking?.
I am pretty clueless when it comes to this sort of stuff, it took me ALL DAY for me to successfully unlock my phone.
What do I need to do.
Thanks for all reply's

I have a HTC Hermes 200 that says something like "you have 5 attempts left. Wait for time out".
Underneith there's a place to enter the network unlock code (i got the code from my carrier), but the OK button is disabled.
So i was thinking it's like Motorola where you'll have to leave the phone on with that message some hours before it will be possible to enter the code again. But i've waited for several days with that screen on, but the OK button is still disabled. Probably a bug?
Anyway, does anyone know if there's any way to unlock it using cable? Via telnet AT commands or something like that? It's possible on most other phones...
same problem here,i am also searching for some other method to enter the codes.
Actually, this problem was solved for me. I've had the phone on for about 2 days when i last checked the screen. Then next time i checked (about 4 days later) the phone was dead because battery ran out.
But after i charged it for about 2 hours, timeout was suddenly over and i could enter the code. So it looks like that time out is just some insane amount of time.
I wonder why it's taking a while to connect, and first spent time and it automatically shut down due to lack of battery, then connected a cable USB to load it and called again but is taking and is on the screen of my carrier by a good time, remembering that after having unlocked the bootloader. I followed a tutorial that a guy sent to me.
He is off after a long time on the screen of my carrier, should I load it and then follow the procedures for installing a rom?
Hi,
I have a problem with my Mi Mix 2. A couple of times I entered the wrong lock screen PIN on my phone, and every time I got a locked phone after 1 wrong try. First time it was 30 seconds, and it gradually got longer to 119 minutes last time (two weeks ago).
This evening I entered a wrong PIN again (I was too quick) and now it locked my phone for 1190 minutes!!
I know there is no way of unlocking it before this time, but is there any solution to this in the future?
I want to have as many tries as I want, or at least not lock my phone for hours...
Anyone else have this problem?

I don't have a solution but I'm curious why you aren't using the fingerprint scanner?

I usually do, but my phone was in a car holder so I used the PIN...
