Hello all,
I started using webIS mail as mail application. Is there anyway i can have it be the default email program?
Meaning, when i choose to send a file via email, i'd like to have webIS mail load and attach the file instead of pocket outlook (default mail client).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This weekend I setup my mailserver for SSL/TLS because I wanted to get mail on my PDA2K. I'm running a Linux mailserver consisting of Cyrus-IMAP and Postfix. I'm also running WebIS Mail on my pda. Here's the strange part, I can get email on Windows Messaging and I can send mail via WebIS, but I can't get mail on WebIS and I can't send mail on WM.
Anyone have any thoughts or tips?
I used to use pocketputty to ssh into my mailserver then get mail, but that was a bit combersome. I can get mail fine on my computer and laptop connected to my Linux mailserver.
I'm stuck.

I have an imate PDA2K. I am running a piece of software called GoodLink, which is a push technology like a blackberry. Anyway, it has it's own apps (email, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks) that syncs with my corporate exchange mailbox.
My problem is that since it does not use the built-in email client, every program I have that can launch an email, goes to the built-in email and not the goodlink email. Does anyone know if there is a way I can make a change somewhere (registry setting) to tell the pocket pc when another program wants to launch a new message, it opens it up in goodlink email?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all.
I'm using the WM6 udk 4.0 and I'm trying to resolve a little bug: configured Outlook with Exchange server, clicking on mail tab on home plugin Trinity displays the MMS Inbox and not the Outlook Inbox.
There is any way to solve this bug (registry key)?
I'm searching also the way to unify MMS & SMS...
Any help appreciated.

Click to collapse
Try to configure also a pop3 email account on Trinity , after when you tap mail tab on home plugin , you should have correct visualization.
Imdantes
I have the same problem with UDK 6.1. Before I used Bepe 0.79, the mail tab would link to Outlook messages, but in UDK 6.1 it links to Messaging and I have to choose Outlook. Tried to configure a POP3 account, but no difference. Is this configurable in the registry? In bepe there was some options for HTC Home, in UDK there are none.
ive set up my email on the phone(not outlook) and want to import some email address for the contacts thats already in the phone
whats the easiest way to do this
thanks for any help
Sorry, I'm not understanding your question. If your contacts are already in your device, where do you want to export them to?
i have my phone contacts on the phone, into each contact i want to import their email address with out having to type them all in manualy
pls syn your contacts in Pro2 to Micosoft Office (in PC) with Activesync, after it's done, all your email addresses in your Pro2 contacts are now in Micosoft Office, from where you can export contacts(together with email addresses) into an Excel file.
Hey all,
I use live.com for my email, and I have an alias address set up, that delivers mail to a secondary inbox. Trouble is, on the stock email app, I have to manually drill down to that box, which is listed as a folder on the email. Is there some way to create a shortcut to it, or some way for it to notify my when there is new mail? I would use the outlook app, but I like the message preview in the task bar, and Outlook doesn't display the first few lines of the message.
Any have an idea? Thanks
Hi! Have you found a solution? Or any other good app?
I have tried gmail, outlook and blue mail. Receiving emails is just fine (as it's the same inbox), but I can't send nor respond emails with the alias address.
