Is there any nbf image file of 2.20.07CHS (Simple Chinese Version) for rom upgrade ? It is because I don't have any surplus SD card. Thank you.

Hai everybody... today I heve received email from I-Phone.org
and they advertising the hardware for flashing named J.A.F. for WindowsMobile by Odeon
for information see on this link
http://www.i-phone.org/main/product.php?prod=7796&ref=newsletter
My Questions ... what execly this hardware for ????
as far as i can tell its the same thing
you do if you put your sd card into your sd card reader
and put a rom on the sd card
and put the sd card into your device
and go into the bootloader and flash your device with the rom

Click to collapse
If i do so, how do I start the upgrade.
Is it starting automaticly when I go into bootloader with a Rom on the sd card?

so... why they make that flasher hardware ????
never don it with other devices then wallabys byt with them it starts automaticly when one enters the bootloader with a sd card with a rom upgrade correctly put on the sd
the device one could suspect is just a normal usb sd card reader and it's the software which is the real usefull thing
otherwise their have put some special thing in their sd card reader so you cant just use their software with any sd card reader and so making it more diff for pirates to steal the sollution they are trying to sell
Rudegar, thanks for your help sofar.
I think this is important, because if your device isn't responding to your desktop anymore this could be the way to solve it and flash your old Rom back.
You said:
"with a sd card with a rom upgrade correctly put on the sd"
Did you prepare the Rom in advance or just put a Rom on a Formatted 4card and it will work?
The last Rom I flashed on my Qtek 9000 (new Imate Rom) was a Windows exe file.
When I unpack this file I get 2 maps.
Is it correct to say that i have to put the upgrade File's into the same map as the installer and put all the file's (upgrade and installer) directly on the sd card.
Will it work this way?
Regards René
again i can only use my exp from doing it on wallaby
but when you use xdatools on wallaby to put a rom on
a sd card
it's not just copied to the sd card it's in a odd format that if you put it in a pc sd card reader it will not be able to even see there is data on it it will
ask you to format the card to use it
i'd asume the same thing goes if you put it in a pda unless you are in bootloader mode
as i see it maybe the device is just a sd card reader and the software is HTC's version of xdatools for wallaby just for newer devices
Ok will try that next week.
If it works i'll post it here.
Thanks again!
Rene
also maybe you should try if the usb sd reader is special or if the software works with any sd card reader
hello world.
I'm running the latest T-Mobile 1.13 Big Storage ROM on my Magician, on which I installed only some applications from the original ext rom, such as MMS Composer, Camera Tool etc.
Since I would like to keep my internal memory as empty as possible, I wonder if I can install those .cab files from the ext rom on my SD card instead of the rom.

I was looking around on the Internet and found out that it's possible to boot an iPAQ 21x from an SD/CF Card, and I have been trying to upgrade the iPAQ 211 device to Windows Mobile 6.1/6.5. I decided that I might try installing it to an SD Card and try to boot from that instead. I downloaded the iPAQ 200 Emulator a while ago, and so I had a copy of the original iPAQ 21x ROM, in NB0 Format. Basically what I want to do is write the NB0 File to the SD Card, and then upgrade the imgfs partition to Windows Mobile 6.1/6.5, but I just don't know how to write an NB0 File to an SD Card. If anyone can tell me how to do it or if it is possible it would be appreciated.
Hi
I have Leedroid 2.3b ROM with A2SD+ and 4GB SD card.
Bought a bigger SD card today and have made the parititions on it but HOW to I backup/move all the contents to the new SD card?
I have tried various Disk Image tools but the Ext3 data can't be read.
I don't have Linux either.
Thanks in advance.

How did I miss that section? ...
Thanks!
as the title suggests i have leedroid 2.3 froyo rom and have been running it with a 8gb microsd for a couple of months, sd card partitioned, gold card etc.
8gb card created into gold card with gold card creator tool on modaco
however if i put my 16gb card in desire it doesn't boot, maybe due to fact that it isnt a gold card too, and no leedroid rom info?.
questions
1. do i have to unroot and reinstall a generic 3uk rom (my network)
2. create 16gb gold card
3. unroot again.
any quicker way as i would like to try 2.3 roms out on 16gb card
and yes i have tried searching but i find xda search engine pretty useless guys sorry bots.
Does not have to be a goldcard (better tho).
If you are using A2SD+ then you need to partition the new card (with FAT32+EXT) then
a) Re-flash the ROM and restore things via TI Backup or Mybackup PRO.
or
b) copy the content form the old card's EXT partition to the new card's EXT partiton (Linux OS required AFAIK).
You can also make a nandroid, partition your new card, copy everything from the fat partition to the new card and restore the nandroid (with your new card in the phone).
thanks guys
