Hi all,
my new MDA III is dead due to a mistake (I installed the MDA II ROM on that device ) - my mistake I knew and now the device is in Boot Loader Mode always. No ROM etc. on it. And I only have the englisch MDA III Build and need a german one.
Anybody with a german ROM?????
Have you tried contacting T-Mobile in Germany, since MDA III is exclusively sold by them, they should be able to help you out. I did notice they have ROM download for MDA II but not for your model. You can call their hotline:

or simply send them an email.

A friend bought me a T-mobile MDA III from Hong Kong.
The device came in chinesse and the soft packed is in German. As I live in Colombia, Southamérica, I want to change the ROM and Soft to English or Spanish. any help how to?? :?:

Your MDA III is new or used ? I never hear MDA III came Chinese ,you can find a lot of English Rom IN here , please read wiki or link here

hello, I've an mda compact II, simlocked and with english rom, I try to unlock it with lockwiz, but I failed, after I try to upgrade the rom in italian rom, I try with a wizard rom because I read a topic where peope write that it's the same rom and that I can upgrade my mda with that.
So I run the upgrade and at the end the phone swiched off and now I can't swith on it!!!!!!!

So, well, I did the same: It's dead, you can sell it at ebay, there you'll get some $ for it.
I returned mine to the T-Mobile Service Desk, after 2 weeks they returned it to me with written diagnostic: Device is unrepearable!

hi all, I found on xda ftp official MDA Compact III German.exe rom. I have MDA Compact III bought from T-Mobile Slovakia. But it is all in english. Is there any english official ROM (can be installed from bootloader)? How can I know that my MDA is different that the one selling in UK? I would like to try WM6 rom but would like to have a way back from bootloader.

Search the forums hard, it is around but dont worry. I upgraded my UK MDA III to WM6 on the official rom and have no issues at all that prompt a downgrade. Just need to setup your MMS and GPRS settnigs manually.

Your pointing to the MDA 3 and thats a other phone then the MDA Compact 3!!!
The MDA 3 is a older phone.
So it is, Doh!!!
Anyway, does anyone have a link to the MDAC3 uk rom?

mmmm I cannot find it anymore..
Ive used it serveral times when had it on my laptop to recover a bad flash..
So i have to look for it to because when i have a bad flash now i will also have a bad day.

Just to make sure I started the first file I downloaded and it IS the MDA Compact 3 ROM not the MDA 3 ROM. When you run it there is a picture of a MDAC3 on it.
Also it is exactly the same file as the one Bullseye has linked to. So I guess either will do.
