the SMS not make sound alert on receive...
with de microphone of telephony is the two big bug...
you have a freeware to correct it ?
to play a sound at sms receive ?
or comercial product ?
I have a Qtek 9090 and i don't experience any of these bugs.
have tried this many time and after a reset
the sms make sound at receive (Mail alert is used)
but after some hours the sms work in mute mode ???
i look it again in futur day...
cant hear alert for SMS
why is it that such a nice PDA/PHONE cant beep when a SMS is received
any suggestion to make it going

I have just got my new O2 XDA IIs and am really loving it.
I have been using the 'Search' feature a lot and learning lots about the device.
While doing this, I had a ex-stalker phone me, grrr.. I wish she didnt have my number..
I guess I will have to change my sim, but I was wondering... is there an App or a way of baring certain individual incoming numbers ? so I can just bar hers ?
I guess its a long shot but thought I would ask

did yoou mean program that can auto reject unwanted phone call?
NOVOSEC smart filter maybe did it....
After installed SmartFilter will detect all of our contact, and you can give someone "tick" for the person who you want can't call you, but we still can se his/her effort to call us, it's come as missed call.
Not just that, it even have a profile, and beside a name from your contac it can reject unknown caller or without number caller.....
I used it, and it help me a lot....

added phone number in so it says 1 phone number active. and set the sms blocker on to reject sms.
set top option to reject from list.
but the sms's still getting through!

I need to know if there is a following setting fo WM5:
1) is there any patch to remind the missing calls continously ?
i mean when a call unanswered, the option will adjust it to remind the call by repeat it within 1 minute or 2 minutes or any adjustable rate. samsung mobile phones have this option and is very useful for remind the missing calls and also for messages.
2) how can i adjust SMS text message tone different from CB (channel broadcast) cell message tone ?
i am not able to apply different ringtones for SMS text message and CB (cell channel messages) anyway to apply different tones instead of same tone ?
2) when i look to a missing call i also wonder if there is a option to see the caller name or number on main notifier screen instead of "1 missinh call" like normal mobile phones show it.
3) i also want to learn if there is a way to use MDA Pro camera for video call on Messenger and on skype to chat by video ?
above 3 feature is very usefull for me and want to learn is there is a possibility for above features.

i need to use a blacklist sofwtare to avoid certain calls.
i´ve tried a lot of programs, but all of them let the telephone to sound one ¨ring¨ before the hung-up. (so the man/woman who is calling to you is going to think that you denied to answer).
is there any software to hungup the incoming calls before the first ring? i tried also the blackballer, but it always give the error ¨error saving settings¨, so i can´t use it.

I've already search the I'net for a good Call / SMS rejector app. but haven't found the one that suites my needs.
All the app. out there claim to block the calls / sms but not really.
Either the phone rings just once and hangs up the call or the sms is received and deleted afterwords.
What I'm looking for is an applications / dll that hooks into the cellcore (found this in the developer center) that monitor the incoming calls / sms.
therefore before the call / sms is intercepted and verified against some rules / filters before it reach the app.
In this case when the call / sms is rejected the caller / sender should also be notified that his call / sms is indeed rejected by the recipeint.
Until now Call block 1.17 is pretty good for blocking my calls, but still can not find a good sms app.
As an MSFT Exchange engineer I know this is possible. I'm just not a programmer to know where and how to start.
I'm using an X1 with WiMo6.5.

MagiCall works that way intercepts before as you hear no ringtone.
I must doing something wrong.
Yesterday I tested various app. incl Magicall and my phone keeps ringing surely once.
and with SMS messages the sender still receives a notification that the message wsa delivered. I'm looking for a hard rejected message.
What do you mean with: "Moved as not software release."
I think still get notification but not audible, on the later i was in the wrong forum moving things you got caught up but moved back we can still make errors
