hp ipaq 2190 with wm6

hello friends.. I need ur help...
From where can i get WM6 rom for my ipaq 2190 that can be flashed using an SD card cause i dont have the sync cable.... Plz also let me know the complete procedure to load the rom.....

for sd flashing, I think is not possible until now. I didn't see anywhere something about this.

Becareful with the upgrade process, as you have to upagrade the OS in a SPECIFIC order or you will screw up the pda - also, I believe in order to flash from the SD card, you simply enter bootloader mode and insert the sd card with the rom file on it - might take more than that however... dig through the hx2000 wm6 thread and you'll find most of your answers.

ppc not detecting SD card :( {removing encryption} . urgent help needed

I jus did a soft reset last night n it stopped working, i didn't tk it out n now it doesn't detect it. i've tried other sd card n they're working pretty nicely. i think the prob is of the encryption, i'd tht option selected in setting>encryption which restricts the use of the sd card to only one device.
can any body tell me how to remove encryption from the card keeping in da same device or any other way of reading encrypted cards in my device.
i tried my card in another phone n it says the memory card is corrupted.
plz plz plz tell me tht it ain't true, i really dun wanna lose all tht data n i dun even hv a back up
ppl plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help

HELP! micro SDCH does not work!

Hi there.
I'm having a very strange problem and could not solve it so far.
I have a T-mobile MDA III. When I wanted to install a new 4GB micro SDHC, I downloaded the patch, ran it on my MDA, rebooted, inserted the memory and it all worked perfectly.
Then I got an HTC P3300 (for spare) and wanted to do the same. Installed the patch, rebooted, inserted the memory... but the phone does not recognise it.
I than ran the "go back", rebooted, inserted the old 2GB memory but now the phone no longer recognises it.
So, the MDA works ok with 4GB memory.
P3300 does not recognise 4GB memory and after "going back" does not recognise 2GB memory.
Without memory the P3300 is pretty much useless.
Can anyone please shed some light on this, please....

This is precisely where I got the .cab's.
And in my MDA everything works fine.
On the P3300 the 4GB memory is not recognised.
And after installing 'back2original', no memory at all is reconised, not even the 2 GB microSD (not SDHC) that I used before.
One more detail:
on MDA I have WM6
on P3300 I have WM5
Is there something specific to WM5 to teawk about?

my advice is to try flashing to a differant rom..
with a few roms i too have not been able to access my memory card..
just flash to something else
click on my signature for Uspl 1.11.cmon
youl need that to flash roms

Yeah, I fear that's the only solution.
(btw, why old 2Gb sd cannot be accessed? what happened?)
I've been looking for the official WM6 rom from HTC but it no longer is on the site. Where can I find it?

PS - Links to originals are broken, like a number of others.

Have you tried reading the card on the PC? See how it's partitioned and what kind of partition it is. Usually, you should use FAT.
I had this issue before (on my Polaris) and a format helped.

The microSDHC was (is) formated FAT32 with only one partition. On the PC it worked fine.
Anyway, I flashed a ROM (could not find HTC original WM6 though...), applied the patch and now the 4Gb micro SDHC is working.
Still, I could not explain why, in the first try, the old 2Gb microSD stopped working.

I recon it's working now?

plzz help me!!
my 4gb sd card cant recognize anymore in any devices even in pc..
i dont know why??!!
but when i inserted it in my sgy, a notification shows up:
blank sd card.. has an unsupported files something like that and it suggests to format it..
but after sgy formats my sd card.. nothing change
a notification shows up again and so on..
Even the computer cant recognize my sd card, it says insert disk
i dont know wat to do.. i cant use my sd card anymore
i hope someone there could help me

try to install minitool partition on ur pc,then try to plug ur sd card,if not detected try to plug ur sd card on a linux computer (system)

if someone around you have a Nokia mobile then just insert the sdcard in the mobile and format the sdcard with the mobile
or with cwm recovery you can also format it

i tried already minitool
but no luck..
im loosing hope
its hard to find a linux computer here in my place
how about mac sir?

no luck also for CMW(mine is Merruk)
it said Error, no directory or sumthing like that..
bt im gonna try tomorrow on nokia
im hope it works... T.T

giv it a shot,plug your sd card on mac,then format it,or try the one dhlalit11 said,try to insert ur sd on nokia fone then try to format it..

guys im having problem with my new 8 gb card. i was already using 2 gb and it worked fine,
But when i upgraded it slowed my GALAXY Y and also i cant create any folder from phone Cant even install any downloaded APK's in memory card-it says 'parse error'

You must have bought a bad sdcard. Scan it in an antivirus. I don't think it's got to do anything with the phone

u have buy an bad fake,in germany we have many shops where u can buy cards like this.it shows class6 or class10 from a good manufacturer but its only class2 and
a poor forgery, but it looks original,try to use minitool delete all partions an formatting this card completely new than installing sdtools and test it on your phone to see what speed the card have,maybe its realy slow and you have the problem always,then your card is fake or broken so bring it back to shop.
try these app to test your cardspeed

FIRSTLY try to reinsert SD card and check in settings>applications>then check whether if u have ticked allow to install applications from unknown sources:victory:
