Using bluetooth to connect XDAII to nokia 6310i in car-kit? - General Accessories

I was just wondering if it was possible to use bluetooth to connect my XDAII to my nokia 6310i thats in the wired car-kit, so I can use the nokia kit as a handsfree for my XDAII??
I've set up a pairing between them , but the nokia keeps saying connected XDAII, then immediatly disconnected.
I tried this software too:

Any one got any ideas??
Thanks

I am trying to do the exact same thing.
I have a nokia 6310i, with car kit installed in my audi.
I have just got a Orange SPV M1000 and have been trying to pair the 6310i and the xda2 together, with the idea of using the 6310i + car kit to use the existing kit.
I have paired them, but straight away disconnects at the 6310i.
Does any have any ideas why this can't be done.

Same problem here. The 6310i I have is connected to a Nokia BT car kit CW1A I think.
Can't seem to connect with either that or through the 6310i.

XDA II & Nokia Car Kit CK7W (Bluetooth)

Hi Guys
I have an XDAII and also another phone, a Nokia.... I have recently had a Nokia Car Kit 7W (bluetooth capable) installed in my car. This would be ideal, as I have the 2 phones (nokia and XDAII).
The only thing is, I can't get the XDAII to connect to the Bluetooh Car Kit via a Bluetooth Handset connection. It connects but not via a Handset connection....
Any ideas?
Thanks,

BlueTooth Car Kit. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, I have a Qtek S110 and a pre-installed phone car kit with bluetooth. The car kit is the usual one that comes with the new VW Passat. The craddle that came with the car for Nokia6100.
In the car manual says I that to activate bluetooth connection I first need to put mobile in the craddle and then press a couple of buttons. However, naturally QTEK doesn´t fit the craddle and I am not able to link the car kit with the phone.
Any suggestions? I´m getting desperate...

Nokia CK7W?
Not much to go on here, but it sounds like you might have a Nokia CK7W car kit. In which case head on over to Nokia's web site and you can download the manual - it will walk you through pairing over Bluetooth.

hi i f it is the nokia ck7w kit with the round wheel for control i too have experienced problems in the end i purchased a "parrot bluetooth kit" this works fine.

Handsfree Car Kit and GPS

I am trying to work out the best way to set up the following in my car:
1 ) GPS on my Exec using bluetooth and TomTom 5.2
2 ) Bluetooth handsfree phone use using Motorola Razor
3 ) Car mount kit with charger.
I intend to have all of the above properly installed so no loose wires and mess.
From everything I have picked up from others the Brodit is the best solution for a mounting kit, so i will definately order that.
My dilema is I do not use the exec as a phone as it is just not pratical for that, so whilst i really like the idea of the Parrot CK 3300 I am not sure if it will pair with my Razor to use as a phone and the Exec for bluetooth GPS operation at the same time. If this is possible then it makes life easy. On the rare occaison that is use the Exec as a phone in the car it's own handsfree is pretty good any way. I also understand that the Parrot GPS uses the Exec speakers rather than the Car radio for the spoken directions so there is not need to have it access the car sound system.
The other alternative is to get the Parrot CK3100 for the handsfree car GSM bit , buy TT 5.2 then find a separate GPS receiver.
Does anyone either have experince of doing this or and idea of the best way.
Any suggestions here will be greatfully received.
Charlie
I've paired my CK3300 before with my XDA Exec and a Nokia 6600.
Used the XDA for GPS and the Nokia for handsfree.
When you pair the XDA with the CK3300 you get the list of devices on the Parrot and you get handsfree and serial port - You will only want to pair the serial port part of it. Just pair your RAZR as you would with a regular headset and it should all work.
Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply. That is very encouraging to hear. It really simplifies things if i can go down that route. I will order the bits on Monday, unless anyone has a better solution for this. Also can you confirm if the GPS spounds come throught he Exec speakers rather than the Car stereo?
Do you have any other advice about this?
Charlie
Yes the GPS sounds come through the exec and not the car kit.
Just trying to think if there is anything else you need to be aware of.......
It all should be pretty easy to be honest - just make sure when pairing the device that you use the advanced settings and choose pair with a windows ce device.

Bluetooth headset wont work in my Audi Q7

I have had loads of windows phones that have all worked pairing with my bluetooth car kit in my Audi Q7 but since I got the Touch Pro 2 it wont pair with my bluetooth kit. This is highly annoying. Anyone got any ideas.

[Q] Link to two Car Kits

Hi,
Recently got my HTC - and am really enjoying it.
We have Nokia CK-7W car kits installed in both our cars. The HTC finds and pairs with one vehicle perfectly. Once paired there seems to be no way of pairing to the 2nd vehicle. Any ideas?
With my old phone I was also able to re-name the paired device. This does not appear to be possible with the HTC, or is it?
Thanks.
JMH
