I saw a post on here somewhere (have spent hours but cant find it again) about someone downgrading the XDA IIs back to XDA II.
Just wondering if anyone has done this, does it work, and most importantly can you use XDA manipulator with it?

from what i come to understand then that program is only for xda1 not 2
Yes, Manipulator is for xda 1 only, and it works only with certain radio stacks.

I have a xda ii which I tried updating but it failed half way through, now the xdaii will not even turn on.
Can ne1 fix this or is it a case for the bin.

My gn had 3 times that automatically swith off with screen locking. Just bought it on 10/4. I am just sending sms or phone standing by without doing something special.....
HK gn rom was modified by HK samsung that different from the stock google one. Some of hk people also had that problem.... any suggestion?
One more thing!!!
The battery was 45% before auto off. When I turn it on, it shows only 15%...
But, the battery level was rise... now19 %
....

I Have had the galaxy s4 for a week now
And noticed from day one that the whites look kinda beige or let's say ofwhite
I turned off the auto brightness ,auto screen adjasment, brightness to the max
But still the same, I compare it to my Laptop screen, and my older galaxy s2 , where the white are Def pronounced And clear
Is this a normal thing in the s4?
Or is it a flaw? If so, is it common?
What do you guys suggest?

Screen issues seem to be really common with the S4. I have an issue with the bottom half of the screen having the yellowish tint you're talking about, but the top half is fine. It's too late for me to take it back to t-mo unfortunately, but I may try contacting Samsung and seeing if they'll do a screen replacement under warranty.
It's a shame because I love everything else about the phone.
That sounds horrible. Hopefully you can exchange it.

It's normal. I compare my S4 screen to the screen on a few of my friends S4's who arent rooted and their whites dont look quite as white as mine, but that's because i use Trinity Colours to enable the cool colour settings. Used it on my S3 and my S4, and ever since then i just notice that off-white tint as small of a tint as it is unless im running Trinity Colours on cool settings.
You can always call customer service .And they will send a replacement. However you would need to send your damaged s4 back .as soon as you receive the replacement. and you should be good to go after that. Good luck.

Did you put the screen mode to professional photo or movie mode? Standard and above are more yellowish.

There is an option called "reading mode" . Keep it off.
Even i use a s4 and had the same problem.
Then i tried this. And thankfully it worked hope it works for you and other people
Hello. I recently installed cyanogen mod 12 on my galaxy note 2 gt n7100. It was fine until one day when I turned it on, it started to act like a bricked phone and did the turning on and repeating thing. However, when I plug it into a charger it works fine. I flashed stock firmware and it didn't fix it. Can anyone help me with this weird brick please?

your battery is faulty replace it. its not even an issue
