Please note that this guide was written with information from the below threads, with the intention of making it easier for people to find the necessary information, and unlock their devices. So if you follow this guide, be sure to go and thank their posts:

Why follow this guide?
If your device is locked and you have no unlock attempts left, along with the message 'Network unlock PIN number is entered incorrectly. Contact your Service Provider', then this guide will unlock your device. You can also use this method, if you are too stingy to purchase an unlock / defreeze code for your device.
What to consider before following this guide.
This unlock method basically removes the IMEI number from your device. I have however followed this procedure on 10+ devices without any issues, just be sure to follow the part of the guide where you backup the files.
DISCLAIMER: Proceed with the below instructions at your own risk, I take no responsibility for bricked devices etc.
Prerequisites
1. Download and install Odin3 v1.85
2. Download Samsung USB drivers from here or install Samsung Kies, to install them.
Step 1 - Flashing Rooted Rogers ROM
1. Download the Rooted Rogers ROM (You may need to use Google Translate)
2. Unzip the .tar.bz2 file, you will be using the .tar file inside
3. Put your device into download mode (Turn it off, hold down VOLUME UP + POWER until a warning screen comes up, press VOLUME UP to continue), connect it to your computer
4. Open Odin, click on PDA, navigate to the .tar file (SGH-I927RUXKJ5_STOCK_ROOTED.tar), do not touch anything else, click Start. If the ID:COM field is not yellow, you have a driver issue.
5. Wait until your device finishes flashing and reboots. You will need to download Superuser from the Play Store. If the Superuser app won't open, factory reset the device, then install it again.
Step 2 - Unlocking the Device
1. Download ES File Explorer from the Play Store
2. Go to 'Settings > File Settings', tick 'Show Hidden Files'
3. Go to 'Settings > Root settings', tick 'Root Explorer', click yes on the warning screen, allow the Superuser request
4. Click on 'Home Directory' in the Settings menu and change it to '/'
5. Navigate to /efs/ in the file manager
6. Move the below files to a backup folder on your device (e.g. /mnt/sdcard/BACKUP)
.nv_core.bak
.nv_core.bak.md5
.nv_data.bak
.nv_data.bak.md5
nv_data.bin
7. It would be a smart idea to copy the backup folder somewhere safe on your computer, so that it is not lost when you factory reset the device etc.
8. Reboot your device, it will now be unlocked, though will have a generic IMEI number. This hasn't been an issue for me, with the device connecting to Australian mobile networks. You should now have an unlocked device!
Please click the 'Thanks' button if this thread helped you, and also be sure to thank the posters of the two threads at the top.
I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THE WORK. I ONLY TRANSLATED THE SCRIPTS TO ENGLISH .
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK OR BREAK YOUR FUJITSU.
I have managed to find a bat file which will allow you to root your F-02E japanese phone.
I have also found a script to allow system R/W made by kikuhare
Steps Involved:
Make sure your phone has 100% charge.
Download the Root + System Mount
Extract the zip's to different folders.
Enable USB debugging under Menu > Settings > Developer Options.
Point to the folder where you extracted drivers from "usb_driver_F-02E_1.0.zip". Wait for drivers to install.
Make sure the phone is connected as PTP not MTP.
CMD into the folder "f-02e_oneclick_su_installer". It is inside the "Root + System Mount_1" files folder.
Run the runme.bat.
Download "Root Checker by joeykrim" from the Play Store.
Run the "Root Checker" app
Wait for the process to finish.
UPDATE System R/W
Connect phone to computer
Download the System Read Write Mounter_1.zip <<<<<< Only need to download if you did not download the "Root + System Mount_1.zip" file.
CMD into the "F-02E_system-mounter" It is inside the "Root + System Mount_1" files folder.
Extract the file and run the"START.bat"
Run everytime the system restarts to mount system as R/W.
Enjoy root .
NOTE: This method does not give full root permissions. You will still be able to underclock the CPU to some degree and use the CoreControl app to disable cores. I will have to run start.bat inside F-02E_system-mounter folder everytime the phone restarts to get system R/W
Drivers: usb_driver_F-02E_1.0.zip
Root Includes System Mount: Root + System Mount_1.zip
System R/W Mounter: System Read Write Mounter_1.zip

No, not enough developers and interest for the phone outside Japan. I doubt anyone will be willing to put in effort as well

Only Docomo and Fujistu apps are in Japanese. Everything else is in English.
Thats fine i suppose with root explorer i can delete those apps by deleting the apk in system app? Also if you have xposed app settings you can change the language per app would that also work?

I have just frozen them, just incase if the phone needs the at somepoint. Xposed framework doesnt work as it need system R/W and the root method has not allowed system R/W mainly because the phone bootloader not unlocked. Secondly make sure you do not uninstall/disable the Phonebook and Phonebook Service provided by Docomo. Its key to allowing you to add and sync contacts.
So Xposed wont work at all then, thats a shame what about lucky patcher, does that need R/W?
Sent from my Xperia T
Improved the .bat file. Now you will have system R/W
Download the root file again and run it. Follow the steps starting at 10 if you have already rooted. :good:
Thanks

anyone else besides the OP got their f02 rooted with this?
I may not be able to help any further. I have boot looped my phone. I cannot get it past the NTT Docomo screen. I think I know what is causing it but I cannot get the phone connected to the PC. I may need to send it into Fujitsu.
Good luck on fixing it

You can reset the factory settings. Reboot the phone and hold the volume up, the phone will boot into recovery mode. You will be able to do a factory recovery.

I have not been able to overcome the issue. It is a design issue. Because it is waterproof phone the heat cannot disperse.
The only thing I have been able to do is keep the CPU frequency down to lower the time it takes for the phone to heat up.

that should not be ... is that the international version of B107?
try to make factory default, think that should work or try to reflash the B107 ...
good luck
Have disappeared because they match the folder path CUST.
First you must be ROOT
Second with Root Explorer app, go to the folder "data" and see the contents of custom.bin
Depending on the file custom.bin say, is as it should rename folders CUST.
For example if it says "Orange/dm", that means that inside the folder "CUST" the folder must exist "Orange" and within it another folder "dm".
If not there you can rename the folder "Channel" to "Orange" and within it you choose to rename the folder to "dm" much of the country that depends on where you live, could be renamed folder "namerica" to "dm" or "neeurope" to "dm"
Finally do a factory reset
Best Regards

Try installing B111 international rom and revert.
"custom.bin" method does not work. For some reason I have "unicom/cn" inside custom.bin. Tried to change custom to Orange/Dm does not work. Tried to rename Orange directory to "unicom" and dm Directory to cn does not work.
Anyway thanks

Of course, if it works, I've tried several times and if it works.
Maybe I did not understand the procedure.
I'll try to explain it better:
1. You must be ROOT
2. Having installed the app Root Explorer
3. Log in to Root Explorer and find the file custom.bin
4. You must remember the contents of this file.
5. Go to the root folder, using the Root Explorer
6. Go to the folder Cust
7. Rename the folders according to the content of step 3.
8. Perform Factory Reset
At no time should change the file contents custom.bin.
Best Regards
succed the process, but bring more painful problem.

How to SUCESSFULLY root and flash CWMR on MediaTek (MTK) devices!
By: Yume Kiblitz
MTK devices. Don't ya love em? Theres something about the smell of
cheap chinese impostor phones (Or as I like to say...phonies *gets shot*)...
ANYWAY, This is a guide showing how to do all that stuff I mentioned 6 lines up!
WARNING! - YOU MUST HAVE USB DEBUGGING ENABLED AND ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF UNKNOWN APPS!
PHASE ONE: Downloading!
I've collected the proper tools all over the internet for you and bundled them into a zip file! How nice am I right?
Download and extract the attached files.
PHASE TWO: Rooting!
Extracted? Good. Now install SRS One Click Root, run the program, click on smart root, follow the programs instructions
and then come back to me...okay? OKAY!? Note: My phone was vulnerable to the Gandalf exploit, yours may be different.
PHASE TWO POINT ONE: Verify your root!
This is fairly simple, look at the debug window of SRS One Click. At the bottom there should be a confirmation of root access!
If not...then you dont have root access and you must find another meathod before continuing
PHASE THREE: BACK, BACK, BACK IT UP!
Go into the Tools folder, now go into the MTK Droid Tools folder and run the program.
Head over to the "root, backup, and recovery tab" and at the very bottom
of the program, click on the ROOT button, this will ask your phone for root permissions, so you wil have to tap the grant button on
your phone. After that click the backup button at the top of the program and wait for it to finish backing up your ROM. Now that
everything is backed up, go on and click the bubble "To choose the boot.img file" and now click the "Recovery and Boot" button right
next to it. A folder dialog box should pop up. At this point click on the "backups" folder and then click the folder inside of that.
If you have more then one folder identify your phone by looking at the folder names. Look for a folder with the name and model of the phone
youre working on. Anyway, after you're in that folderjust click on the file named "boot.img", there should be only one file named that
in your folder, if there is more then one, delete that folder, re-backup your phone, and then retry these steps.
PHASE THREE POINT ONE: Installing CWMR! (Clockworkmod Recovery)
After you click the "boot.img" file there will be a dialog box asking if it should make a CWM recovery, click yes (Obviously). After
that, there will be 2 more dialogs, click yes to both of them. The last box will ask is you want to reboot into recovery, you can choose
yes or no, it wont matter bacause CWMR is installed to your phone now!
Any questions or do you need help? PM me or email me at [email protected]!
Hello guys,
I rooted my device today, but after a module install (magisk-delta), magisk suddently showed, that it's not installed. Even tho root checker still shows I'm rooted. Is there any fix for this or I have to reinstall?
EDIT: Thanks to @bobfrantic reply, I managed to fully root it

Nope, just tried on Classic Power Menu app which requires root, no pop-ups or stuff anymore.
Well then you're probably not properly rooted and the first root method that confirmed you were is unreliable. It probably just checks if you have the magisk app installed and that's how it determines if you have root access.
Copy your AP_tar file (making sure to remove the .md5 extension) to your phone. Open magisk_delta and tap the top install and select patch a file. Browse to the AP_tar file you copied. Then click the lets go and wait for magisk_delta to do the patching. When done, it will put the patched file into your download folder on your internal partition. Copy that file back to computer. Using odin put the ap file in the ap slot. Put the BL and CP files in thier slots. Use the non home CSC which will wipe your current setup and you will start from scratch. (You may want to back up your phone with smart_switch before running odin.) Once setup first thing to do is reinstall magisk_delta and if it asks to reboot, do that. Once rebooted you should be fully rooted.
