Hi there, i'm looking for a glass that can work with spigen case, is easy to install it correctly(hate bubbles) and works with the fingerprint! Even factory film could be ok if spigen didnt poped it up
well, I am looking for the same thing honestly.

Don't use tempered glass but hydrogel screen protection. Tested and approved by myself and a 90% of customers
Gorilla IQ Sheild, a long lasting wet apply plastic.
You can trim it if absolutely needed, get a couple.
No bubbles but installation must be 100% lint free to avoid that. Do Not stretch any it during install. I use it with my Zizo Bolt cases.
Is wet apply plastic same as uv screen protector ?
As a note, the Samsung S20+ uv screen protector seems to do the trick. It's not yet applied to the phone, but it looks good with a spigen case. Pics below

No. You spray a water solution on the display then position the protector. Remove any bubbles. It sets up in minutes. Allow the dry for a few hours.

Is that S20+ UV screen protector? Can you share again after you have applied it?
It's uv screen protector for the S20+ but i have not applied it yet since I already have a generic one applied. But it looks to be perfect on the screen, and fits spigen quite well.
Anybody know if THIS tempered glass fits with spigen case?

I'm currently using Spigen Galaxy S8 Plus Screen Protector NeoFlex with the "TECH21 Evo Check" Case with no issues.
I tried almost all whats available in the market, you name it, i tried it (expect for the zagg sphhire, still waiting for it).. Glass and film, tried them all, and i can highly recommend the iq shield wet film, so far the only one that you almost can't see it there, and definitely case friendly (subject to you applying it at the right position as a millimeter makes all the difference).. Try it and you will see.. Spigen wet film will be my second option, only its a bit more visible after applying it and more finger print magnite..
Alllllll, and i mean alllllll glass screen protectors are worthless, i tried at least 10 brands, cheap and expensive, and non works or sticks well, and definitely non is case friendly, the once that are, you can clearly see the adhesive through the glass after applying it, and that makes it soooo ugly..
I've got a Caseology (Spigen Tough Armor) and a MoKo 9h glass protector and they aren't compatible.
BearMotion with icarez glass. Pretty good combo.

I tried a Zagg Glass protector and it goes on very simple.. good coverage and touch resistance was fine.. Slipped the phone into a Spigen Neo Hybrid and the Zagg popped off.. So Not compatible at all..

Yes its
Yep, spigen tough armor and some tempered glass protectors aint compatible. Pushes up. Same thing for any other film protector for the tough armor. Pushes up on almost all i have tried. havent found one that works so im getting over this spigen tough armor.
I also have the IQ Shield case friendly and it works great with my 2 Supcase and Spigen Hybrid.
I bought this gel type screen protector, it fits flawlessly edge to edge and no bubbles or wrinkles! It's a wet install but it's so easy!

Awesome guys, thank you. :good:
I just ordered the iq one that was suggested. I have an otterbox defender so I'll see how it works with that case. From what I've read the glass protectors do not play nice with most cases.
I have the Ghost Armor wet film on my S8+ and think it's one of the better ones out there. I got a glass screen protector free with my purchase, but it is pretty terrible so I decided to go with a film one. And the Ghost Armor is case friendly.
I've got the GPEL glass screen protector with a spigen ultra hybrid case. No issues
I have the wet install skinomi case friendly protector.
It fits great and doesnt even look like its on there. Ive been using these since the note edge days.
They sell a 2pack for around $8 ship

In the mean time using one i got fro tmo and its fine except the edges that lift up and bubble.
Tested the Orzly TGSP with the Spigen Thin Fit, Rugged Armor and Orzly FlexiCase - worked with both the FlexiCase and Thin Fit, but NOT the Rugged Armor.

Hello,
I am looking to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S8+ screen protector. I was planning on getting this case but I had wanted a screen protector as well to protect such a device. Any suggestions? I've looked online and heard to find a good one is rare due to the fact of the curved edges as well as it being an expensive phone. Any help would be appreciated.
Side-Note: Any suggestions for another case would be nice as well, I like the one linked above but something with a slim factor would be nice too!
https://www.amazon.com/Whitestone-D...1497757988&sr=1-1&keywords=whitestone+s8+plus
Works well with the Spigen Neo Hybrid too.
Idk I've gone through 3 screen protectors with the same case listed above for some reason the case grabs the side of the screen protectors and it bubbles up I tried two expensive tempered glass screen protectors and each one with that same case popped off my phone so irritated right now I'm using just my bro hybird case with no screen protection

I am also in searching of some good glass... Unfortunately, all reports are so far divided. Some could manage put some glass, the others have more problems... In the other theme GravX put an interesting video with test samples with full adhesive tempered glass from alibaba. Itnwill take some time, until this will be available on amazon

It is worth it. I screwed up the install and they sent me a new tube of glue and screen protector for free.
I finally just gave up on finding a tempered glass protector I opted for a liquid glass nano screen protector applied two coats and slapped my case on no scratches nothing and I always end up throwing my phone in my pocket with my keys highly satisfied also barely any smudges it's legit for those have any trouble I recommend liquid glass Qdamix liquid glass to be exact
Fyi don't be the idiot who still doesn't have a military grade case on it.. if you drop the phone without a case the screen will crack period with a tempered glass or not so don't be an idiot and think this is gonna make the phone bullet proof nah it just prevents scratches nothing else!

Be careful, that liquid screen protector stuff is mostly snake oil. I've been caught out with it before and ended up with scratches just with the phone being in my pocket.
Screen Protectors for Samsung S8 Plus
Ounier Galaxy S8 Plus Tempered Glass Screen Protector, [Case Friendly][Easy Installation Tray] 3D Curved Tempered Glass Screen Protector (Black)
Due to curved edges of Galaxy S8 Plus, traditional full screen glass screen protectors will generate a halo effect on the edges. We have developed a Dot Matrix glass screen for Galaxy S8 Plus, which offers full screen protection without any bubbles or halo effects. This is accomplished with state of the art technology by placing hundreds of microscopic transparent dots on the screen protector to mimic the contact of your finger on the screen.
I'm using Spigen Glas.Tr full cover glass. Definitely recommend!

I ordered the whitestone dome TG to use with the ringke slim and it looks like its either going to be a very tight fit or it wont fit. I dont want to attempt to fit it as il be returning it to amazon
Anyone find a good glass screen protector for the front?
The whitestone ones are not that great. Im going to try with a Hydrogel version
I have been using hydrogel and it's great. I even scratched the screen protector with a tool at work. I thought I had to replace it but a day later it's as good as new. I am very surprised at the self healing.

I am using the Spigen Glas with the Spigen Slim Fit P case and it is sized to fit nicely inside the front raised edges. I really like it for use with Spigen cases. Not sure how it will look with other cases with thinner edged front protectors.
My front and main screen protectors started developing small scratches. I'm too OCD to let that slide so I removed both of them. Much happier now, lol.

From my experience, many cases don't fit with the glass screen protector so I always use a film screen protector from Gadgetshieldz which is installed with liquid that provides an extra layer of protection to the display. As the protector has a self-healing feature that heals most of the scratches on it which I like the most about this product. Is that Skinomi a film-like protector?

How ware these and how long do they last - compared to the factory screen protector? Does the corners lift over time?
If I order one, do I need the "Case Fit" version?
I've been using the factory fitted film since I got the phone in June, always have a ringke fusion case, no signs of lifting anywhere. Not sure if it will work with the glass you're talking about

The screen protector lasted for about 7-8 months for me and they are good compared to factory protectors because they stick well enough and don't peel off. If you're going to use a back case then the case-fit screen protector is enough because the case would protect the edges.
Thanks. I use the OP carbon bumper case. I will order the case-fit version

Yes, no screen protector in the box, and it is frustrating. I think Samsung is reducing the use of plastic so they are selling it separately you can try the Gadgetshieldz film screen protector which is really good and it is made from nano polymer and it can self-heal the scratches occur on it!

well they are pushing on using less plastic and going carbon neutral so that might be the reason orr..... might just be cost
Typically plastic film works less with yltrasonic sensors.
Try a glass one.
Mine came with a screen protector. I took it off and put a tempered glass on.
They do it so they can claim to be green while passing the waste and cost to the end consumer who's going to end up buying it all anyway.

I don't like it too but they are far more scratch resistant than plastic film. I have bought cheap hydrogel film from Aliexpress and fews days after, you already get some scratches. Same with a more expensive one, the Spigen Neoflex, totally useless as it scratches too easily.
So now, only tempered glass...

That's why I suggested a Gadgetshieldz film screen guard which is not completely plastic and it can heal the scratches as I'm using one, I don't see the scratches they all disappear within minutes!
yh no plastic but they include that first protector with the little tab that it's not meant to be used as a film protector.
I mean, they could just include a proper film to give the user the choice to either keep it or peel it off.
so no screen protector on the phone out of the box- and the reason is to reduce plastic waste. I got the official samsung screen protector from the samsung shop- there is four times the amount of plastic waste in the packing as well as the box it came in. This is a load of samsung BS , just another revenue stream to upsell

If Samsung sees this comment they will just give away the protector as usual! Plastic waste is just a concept for them to earn extra money for the protectors!!!
