Would there be any issues in installing this as well as having V4A also?

There wont be any issues. It just uses the inbuilt OnePlus dolby config files, but better control over it.

Great. Thanks. I can't disable the oneplus sound tuner with terminal. I write pm disable-user --user 0 com.oneplus.sound in terminal, but nothing happened. Got root access with su in terminal.

Did you miss the .tuner at the end of the command while trying too?
Did the below command work?
pm list packages -d
Else wait till you get access to a computer to get it done. The sound tuner wont cause too much conflict unless you reboot or something, till thn the DAX3 settings would stick to the system.

@Aswin08 i think we can tune 1st 2 values to 7, 5.5. Rest all the same. It gives better controlled sound and save the speakers in long run. This is with my extensive testing with apps YouTube, Poweramp etc.

I don't know why but the Untouched version works for me on the same settings whereas the edited version doesn't produce high quality results.

Little question, is it possible to make the background in black color?

It's awesome!!! Tested on 7T Open Beta 6 using Bluetooth wireless 2.

Yes, it is possible. Already in this version I have replaced Greenish Grey with Black at few parts. It just consumes time to make it pitchblack without affecting the texts and few other elements. I'll release pitch black version when I have time.

It is very unlikely, I have just modified the colors, icons and few texts. Make sure the configuration is fine and If you have not disabled the oneplus sound tuner make sure its not conflicting,
Sound tuner tends to overwrite the config when you switch audio device or restart phone. Also check if equalisers of apps like Poweramp doesnt interfere much.
For anyone who cares, Sony XB-WF700 sounds great too with Dolby Atmos.

[Update]Redmi 1s:best speaker configuration,loudest and clearest sound

Update:The new Guide has been released check it out here [Guide][Ver.2][Project Crystal X Loud]Redmi 1s Best Speaker Configuration With Proof
[/COLOR][/SIZE]Note:you must be on a custom rom to make it work, like cyanogenmod, mokee rom, carbon rom,pac rom,PA rom, etc(doesnt work on MIUI based roms)
Getting much less sound on redmi 1s even on the full volume?
yeah thats the problem everyone facing with this device.
So here are my phone speaker configurations to get the the loudest and clearest sound out of it,
Screenshots also attached,
Steps to get clear Sound:
1)Download and install Viper4android FX on redmi 1s(download link for Viper4android FX)
2)after installing open the app,and when it asks to install driver, choose the high quality, dont choose the battery saving because you will not get good sound in it,and neither choose the super quality as it will increase your battery consumption.
3)reboot the device once.
4)open Viper4Android and configure it like this:
i)click on options>UI settings>Expert
ii)in Master Power tick the Enable option
iii)in Firequalizer tick the Enable option and select preset:ROCK
iv)in Convolver tick the Enable option and in Impulse Response select the "Sony Xperia Rev2 EQ 8.Treble boost.irs"(download link for Sony Xperia Rev2 EQ 8.Treble boost.irs convolver) (Mirror link)
v)in Speaker Optimization tick the Enable option.
thats it, now you will get the clearest sound, but wait you will not get the loudest sound now,we have to do some few steps more,
Steps to get Loud Sound:
1)download and install root browser on your redmi 1s from playstore.
2)open root browser, you will see etc folder(if not go to system folder then etc folder).\ open it.
3)find mixer_paths.xml and open it.
4)look for this line in the text'<ctl name="RX4 Digital Volume" value="84" />'
5)change the value from 84 to 94 and save it.
6)Reboot once.
Now you have the best speaker on the redmi 1s
Note:after reboot if you get no volume, play any music, open viper4android in Master control untick Enable option and retick it,worked like charm
If you got some better settings than me dont hesitate to reply
leave a thanks by pressing the :good: button,it doesnt cost you anything

Hello, @shail00 maybe you should try some diferrent rom if this problem irritates you,you can try carbon rom which has all the features of cm11 rom and much more additional features,or else you can wait for android l rom on which developers are working right now as the kernel source is released for rexmi 1s we can expect a better rom(having no problems) from the developers

Give link to official thread of viper4android......also have you got the right from the developer about creating mirror to his links??you must ask him before(xda rulez)and i do think he hasnt allowed any 1 to create a mirror to his links...so better ask the developer about it...it would be good for you and him(the respective developer)
initial steps result in good sound I.e. settings in viper
Initial viper settings good, but don't touch mixer settings. It messed.up my phone speaker sound. During call the sound bursts terribly.

Some battery draining during idle, probably it's a Nougat issue, still no M features as in MM, this is due to kernel cannot be fully rooted, so my advice is getting back to 1.9.5 and wait for further upgrades and full root.

Best probably is to use an aggressive thermal mod which keeps the device at 40-45°C max,
since that's the optimal temperature range for the battery, too
Lots of early throttling or only enabling 6 instead of 8 cores - similar to Snapdragon 808,
also underclocking the GPU helps A LOT (battery + temperature)

This is nice, but not really my thing when everything doesn't really work correctly. I've got to get into all the apps to start whenever restarting the phone. Something really annoys me like I use drupe or appsii apps , they're supposed to be shown on the screen, but they just appear for a few seconds and disappear, and just appear back when I get into the apps again
Updated: sorry I didn't know there has been an app called "brevent", preventing apps from running in background. Just have calling problems.

Yu talking about this update for 7 and 7 pro or it is available for 7t also ??
Guys be aware that people on reddit have reported this updated changed the back gesture range to full length on the sides, meaning they work as back gesture even at the top of the screen, very annoying to people who want to preserve the top 1/3 for app menus
Yep, the navigation gesture goes all the way up as others have mentioned. However, I noticed that lawnchair now works properly with gesture navigation so it's a worthy trade-off for now imo until they fix it.
Everything feels very snappy.
And what about OP gestures? Still nowhere to be found?

For me when I would go to long press swipe up gesture for recents, it would also flip the app drawer up. It didn't really integrate with the home launcher like it did with the OOS launcher. I tried multiple versions, beta, non beta etc.
If I remember correctly there was issues on pixel with third party launchers on gestures when they first came out as well.
Hey where can i download the global version ? I went and updated through Oxygen Updater but then i guess is the indian version? idk but i lost Dolby Atmos functionality and there's no longer any equalizer.
Green tint issue after updating :/ kind of a bummer tho, can anyone else confirm this?

Question What Magisk modules are you using?

Hey all moving up from my OP 7 pro to the OP 9 pro. What are all the magisk modules everyone is using on the OP 9 pro.?
1.Anything to force full screen mode on all apps? The settings for full screen apps dont include all the apps im using as some of the developers of the apps havent made it possible I'm sure.
2. I know Android 11 made changes to the navigation hide feature, is there anything that can be used to hide the navigation bar, and no i don't like navigation gestures option
Right now i am using
1. Substratum
2. Systemless Hosts
3. Full Dolby
One app im using that i have used since my 6T that isn't a magisk module but i cant live without it is a Plus Beat and it still works perfect on my 9pro
Thanks for the suggestions, cant wait to hear what everyone is using!!

Yes I really like the font. It was one that came on the cyberpunk 8t.. And the audio one as well. I'll see if I can get the zips uploaded here.
Currently using:
CloudFlareDNS
Debloater
Systemless hosts
Universal GMS Doze
Planning to install Viper but haven't yet. I also tried ACC but couldn't get it working so I just disabled it.
I wish I could find a way to add a battery bar above the status bar. I used to use RICE tweaks for that on my OP7P. I know there's a way with Xposed too, but I really don't want to mess with that.

What about Energy Bar? I'm currently using this on my OP9 Pro. As I type this I also noticed the same developer has a version which puts a battery ring around the punch-hole camera if you prefer that sort of thing (I might try it myself).

Another way to do that is to uninstall the system YT app with a debloater tool (I use debloater magisk module for that) and then use Vanced app to install. Just throwing it out there, since the Vanced magisk module isn't supported anymore and may not work on future versions.

General Viper4Android - Pixel 6 Pro - how to? [Root/magisk only]

Hello there.
I've been trying to get Viper4Android to work and tried the most common solutions (none worked yet)
Android 12 (Viper4Android)
Has anyone managed to get Viper4Android working on the latest beta of Android 12? The usual methods don't work (makes sense, since its a new OS). Just curious. I like Android 12 so far, but might roll back to 11 if I can't get Viper going...
forum.xda-developers.com
-> manually edit /data/adb/modules/ViPER4AndroidFX/post-fs-data.sh didn't work
-> using the automatic editing via magisk module didn't work
-> trying to use JamesDSP/audio compatibility library in between reboots installed/deinstalled didn't work
I also tried the "newest" fix version from the v4a Telegram group.
Any time I use a pair of bluetooth headsets, the options menu just states "abnormal" and v4a doesn't work.
Strangely enough, if I use the phone speakers and have NO bluetooth headset enabled, the processing works normally.
Anyone found a solution yet?
I plan to use this thread as a discussion first and once we found a viable solution that can be reproduced, I will edit this post to a guide. In the following spoiler I'll progressively add more information that will later replace the main text.

1. Purpose
This guide serves as an installation method to get Android4Viper working on a Google Pixel 6 Pro (as of 12/2021). If not stated explicitly otherwise, do not assume that this method will work on another Android 12 device.
2. Installation method
3. Download
Viper4Android cannot be downloaded via xdalabs anymore. The installer (old 2020 version) can be either found here https://zackptg5.com/android.php#viper or as a magisk module in the new unofficial repo via Fox's Magisk Manager Module https://github.com/Fox2Code/FoxMagiskModuleManager (John abandonded the official Magisk Repo as of 12/2021).
4. Now that I have Viper4Android running... where do I find the right settings for my specific pair of headphones?
For a baseline, you can visit the GitHub page of the project AutoEQ and find the settings that fit your need https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/crinacle
There is a general thread for Viper4Android profiles that are being shared by the community (sometimes with attached DDC & Convolver files) https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/read-op-first-official-viper4android-audio-profiles.2324454/
For a generic IRS file ("DDC") you can visit this website https://github.com/Codejune/viper4android-eq/tree/master/Kernel
If you want a specific DDC file tailored to your headphone, there are several XDA threads to chose from, where members of this community take the time and effort it takes to create those - usually these files are sold, you can expect about ~ 3€ per headphone IRS file pack. There are some floating around github or other parts of the net, but those are not always "official" and might have been shared without consent of the original creator. One creator of these files that offers them for free can be found here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...filters-2016-06-05-5-new-hifi-models.2372750/
For a Convolver file you can also search for them in several XDA threads (usually for free, DDC files are usually the ones being sold) - for example:

I just tried it out and deactivated HD audio. Now it works! Marvelous! Thank you.
But... now I don't have LDAC anymore, that kinda defeats the purpose of v4a, since I want maximum music quality (I've been using both the Sony WF-XM4 (earbuds) and "normal" XM4 (NC headphones), both which rely on LDAC. Is there another workaround? Or a way to force LDAC even though the option is deactivated?

I don't know of a workaround for that, sorry.
Alright, so I narrowed it down a bit.
The problem are both the bitrate and samplerate.
The maximum that this V4A fix currently supports is
48kHz <- down from 96 kHz
32bits/sample <- remains
330kbps <- down from 990kbps
That is still a step up from SBC (44.1Khz 16bit) - ergo if I tune that down in developer options, I can still use LDAC, even though with a reduced bitrate. I should mention that I also installed the Audio Modification Library and Ainur Narsil prior to my most previous attempt to get LDAC working, so that might be of importance.

I took a look at your second file and that's the exact same post-fs-data.sh edit that I've already talked about in the OP post. I guess your method is the same, even though you have linked a handy app instead of manual editing (credits go to Typhus_ I guess)
I did not use any ViperFX "fix" version though. Can you confirm that your version supports high quality codec/more than 48 Khz/330kbps?

1. Install Ainur Narsil in Magisk
2. Install AML in Magisk
3. Install V4A
4. Reboot and should be good (if not, continue to step 5)
5. Disable AML in Magisk (don't uninstall, just disable) and reboot
6. Re-enable AML, reboot and now you should be good

It's the difference between night and day... apples vs bananas... nuclear warheads vs bricks... kidding.
Wavelet is a glorified Equalizer, whilst Viper4Android is in a class of its own, enabling enthusiasts to go above and beyond to get the best music quality possible by using
- custom tailored DDCs for your specific headphone (you can ez buy headset correction IRS' in certain Telegram groups, make your own or have luck finding ones...)
- Custom tailored Convolvers (personally I'd suggest to give TubeAmplifier & Technics Preamp Extreme v.2 a first try to get a baseline, and then try out others to see if it fits your headphone pair better)
- Decent dynamic & bass system
- Clarity settings, auditory protection, et cetera...
V4A can turn a pair of headphones into a stellar object of beauty, whilst Wavelet will simply elevate your experience by ~20%.
If you can, try it out. The experience (IF ! you tailor it properly) is extraordinary. I'd also always suggest to get the best possible results by tailoring your settings according to your headset, e.g. get a baseline with
AutoEq/results/crinacle at master · jaakkopasanen/AutoEq
Automatic headphone equalization from frequency responses - AutoEq/results/crinacle at master · jaakkopasanen/AutoEq

Can you confirm that this method (without manually editing any files) enables high quality Codecs/bitrate?
It's still relatively unclear if this is a Android 12 thing, a Pixel 6 problem or if it's caused by Viper4Android. What is clear is that it was possible in the past (I had three Pixels, was never an issue) to use high quality codecs (LDAC) with full bandwidth, meaning
Samplerate of 96.0 kHz
32 bits/sample
990kbps (the latter will probably never work, since the P6 has a bit of bluetooth connection problems, meaning after 660 the phone will only produce noise/can't get a solid connection - hopefully Google can fix this)

Tbh I only used V4A to apply custom made .irs profiles from oratory1990. Same can be done in wavelet. Nothing more needed for my Sennheiser HD800S, HD600 and Momentum 3.
But yes, V4A has tons of more options. I just never needed those.
What I miss in wavelet are automatic profile switches based on output (speaker, bluetooth, cable).

Idk man it works fine for me for the most part. I can confirm that Bluetooth randomly drops out about once a day, although, I had probs with the with the stock EQ as well, like the preset would just 'cut out'
It's definitely a lot better than stock. Bass is good. No complaints here
Edit. Disregard this post. Thanks

I just did some testing with my Pixel Buds A-series and I have V4A working via Bluetooth (as well as JamesDSP) with HD audio enabled. I am able to choose my Codec (which the best for my buds are AAC, unfortunately. No LDAC support). However, I do have ACP installed. That may be why it's working with HD audio enabled. Might want to give it a try.
I have V4A, JamesDSP, AML & ACP installed.
When installing ACP, I chose these options:
1. Skip audio_policy patching?=Yes
2. Skip notification_helper remover?=Yes
3. Skip usb policy patching for usb dacs?=No
4. Use lib workaround?=No
Maybe this will help...
? for everyone who has it "working":
a) do you have to enable legacy?
and if not
b) is it stable, or does the status go to abnormal after X number of songs, etc?
I've tried every method out there and since Android 10 I haven't gotten V4A to work consistently without enabling legacy, and I don't want keep beating my head against the wall if legacy mode is the only stable option.
