Is there a way to get APT-X working on the Oneplus 3?
Are there custom roms or kernels that have it build in?
I've had a look into this but not found any useful information. I'd also like to know what codec/bitrate is being used by my car bluetooth to be able to compare to aptx. Compared to my xperia z2 with aptx, I haven't noticed any difference.

Someone already did this for stock P2. Search for dual speaker mod on XDA. They made it as flash zip through recovery TWRP or magisk. The earpiece isn't the loudest though.

Any cheap $20-30 bluetooth speaker will do 100% better and you don't need to mess with the phone.

Not sure if you can install oneplus 5 mod on oneplus 5t, maybe each have a different configuration. I just started a new thread on this haha
