Hi,
are you using the default charger? Also try to install the Ampere app and see your current amperage. USB-C default is 3000 but personally i'm at 2300/2700

Try to make few tests, screen off/on, with/without airplane mode etc.. Also try to find any running app and try to stop them. Leave the phone 10-15mins and tell me the min/max amperage.

Seems clear now, i think that if the cable isn't type c, we can't get the 3A for charging the device.
with og cable i'm able to get 3A but with an USBC to A i'm stuck at 1,5~ ( http://imgur.com/a/LVgAi )
I think your charger does not deliver enough power and so charging seems to be slow, can you give me the amperage in the top of the app ? (min, current & max)
Also are you on Stock Rom (Root etc)?

According to results, it should be the charger that doesn't give sufficent power to the phone.
Try to get an charger with an USB C port and a USB C toC cable.
Here's some links, cheapest ones that i found:
-https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01EBUUQBW (bought this one, able to get 2,7/3A)
-https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5V-3A-Original-Quick-Charging-Type-C-USB-EU-Plug-Wall-Fast-Charger-Cable-Cabel-for/32698384266.html Original charger
or do the classic method : airplane&stop apps

Does anyone uses a Usb to Power port for charching ?

This is what i'm talking about:
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=us...adapter&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
My gf uses this kind of adapter to her iPhone 4 and i thought to myself .. why wouldn't I ?
My question is that is it safe ? Could it harm my Sgs2 ?
No. Thats fine. Just make sure you get the right Voltage rating and adapter for your country
I used a similar unit to charge my SGS2 overnight, replacing the EU charger that came with my Spanish phone. The big thing to look for is that the charger delivers at least 700 mA of +5V DC.

What do you mean by voltage rating ? you mean by 110 or 220 ?
I live in Israel, i need the 220v .. but i know something about the DC or AC .. and the 1 - 5v Ma .. does it mean something i need to worry about ?
As you can see, i'm a little lost ..

Yes thats what I mean. Just check the charger with your phone and get one that has similar specifications.
The mains voltage is important ie 220V for you. The output needs to be 5v which all usb chargers are, and the MINIMUM amps needs to be 700mA so anything above this is fine ie 1000mA which is the same as 1A.
A low mA value will mean it will charge slowly or maybe not keep up with the device drain. A higher value will not kill your device but allow it to charge at its fastest rate.
USB charging works fine for me.
But when I tried a 3rd party charger (think it was HTC), i notice that my screen became laggy/unresponsive while being charged. This doesn't happen while on USB charging & original charger.

Well that might be because its output is less and thus it isnt able to charge at its full capacity. Compare the ratings on both your chargers to see.

Can i use VOOC 5V-5A Charger?

Hello friends, in my country there is no Dash charger from official oneplus. but there are some oppo's vooc charger available. as far as I know vooc charger works in 1+3.
and there are two types of charger from oppo.
1. 5v-4a (same as dash charger)
2. 5v-5a
so if I use the 5v-5a charger would it harm my device? would you recommend it?
thanks in advance

Yes u can use VOOC charger as dash charger, you only need to convert the cable end, from micro to usb C
Am using VOOC powerbank (batt pack) with usb c converter, and it charge my OP3 in dash speed (3000++mAh charging rate)

I'm afraid using an adapter would kill your charging speed (reduce to normal speeds).
You need compatible cable for DASH/VOOC speeds - mainly because they are thicker than normal ones. Well, any standard micro USB to Type-C is not designed for such high amperage and it becomes the weak link here. The phone will think you're using a normal cable and won't pull more than 1.5A through.
Tl;dr: you need a DASH/VOOC Type-C cable, no adapters.

I would rather not use that even if it works, you risk frying something.
Those adapters are designed fur 1A, not 4 ... That's a huge difference.

I don't have any charger actually, I use my laptop to charge it which is very slow, and I don't want my laptop on for whole night. so I needed a charger badly. as there is no dash cable here I have to order it and as for now have to use the ordinary usb-c cable for the phone.
You can use any wall charger with 1a, 2a. It will not charge Fast as Dash, but faster than the laptop.

Not all type c provides fast charg it needs to be type c to c also capable to provide above 15w (5v * 3A)
Yes this. Although, my Nexus 5X one which is 5v3a does fast charge pretty much the same as the stock Px8el 2 XL one. The Pixel 2 XL has been restricted and doesn't take advantage of it's 9v2a charger rating.

You either just paid or are in the process of paying off a near $1,000US (£750) device. Do you really want to risk damage to your home or the device because you want to save a pound?
Spend the £30 or so and get the correct charger.
Have you tried asking Google for a replacement charger under warranty?

True but any 15w USB power adapter and a USB-C cable should do the job just fine. It's never been an issue for me.

Not all USB-C cables are the same. The one we need has to be at least USB-C 2.0. The effects from using the wrong spec cable are unknown to me, but I'm not about to find out either. The potential for damaging the device is why I spent the extra money and got an Anker 6' cable that matches the specs of the 3' cable included with my charger.
Some good info here.

Yh for sure as long as type a to c can deliver 15w it will do the job but not all type a to c can thats why i recommend type c to c for its capability.
I always go with either Goggle directly or the Anker ones that have PD enabled for faster charging.

Not all USB-C cables can fast charge the which have higher amp ratings can support fast charging.
For example honor 10 has 4.5V/5A SuperCharge ratings. Hence the cable should support 5A current.
That was my cable.
I tried with the OEM one again after a reboot and it worked!!! Weird.
Is there a trick to let the display show the charge status (75,4%) ??? It's impressive to see it rise ?

With Warp Charge there are several factors that come in to play. The charger itself, the USB Type-C Cable and your device.
Has Warp Charge ever worked on your device?
When the cable is connected do you see "Warp Charge" displayed on the screen?
Did the Ampere App ever show the maximum 5.9 amps or does it always show a maximum of 3.5 amps?
Are you using the original Warp Charge wall outlet adapter and original USB Type-C Cable?
If Warp Charge was working before, how long has it been since you last saw it work?
Have you modified the device at all?

Yes it was all working before I have earlier got 5.2 to 5.5 amps but from past couple of months it's been fixed at 3.5 amps now, and yes I have been using original warp charger provided and no haven't unlocked or rooted my device, could this be a problem with the device or any other fix for this?

Bought mine 2019-12 . few days ago (2020-03-30) warp charge stopped working, it still charged, but extremely slow like 40 percent an hour. When it was off i tried plugging in charger, but it started looping, it didn't boot to an animated picture with charging battery, but it still could boot into OS when power button was pressed. Did a factory reset, didn't help. Connecting to pc usb still recognizes it. Had a feeling it was a hardware error. Maybe fast charging module went bad.
Sent it for a warranty repair, got an answer that it will take more time because it was sent for an higher level service. I guess it's quite bad, it could be a motherboard fault.
I read on oneplus forums that quite a few people has a same issue.
Connect it to a pc, see if it is recognized. Mine stopped working & it was a bad USB Car port. It would still slow charge but no warp charge & no windows pc would recognize it connected
Hi! I have the same issue, only difference is that mine is sometimes charging at warp speed and most of the time at 3300 mAh "dash speed". Did you manage to see what the issue was?
