please help me with this. don't avoid my message by its length. - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I patched my android phone which is note 2 gt-n7100 with lucky patcher. The patch I did was signature verification status always true. And it was successful. After that, when I was download the modded version from lucky patcher I was taking a lot if time as my network is slow. And after some time I saw a tutorial and I was doing it. In that tutorial he downloaded that Google play store modded version. But it didn't support my device. So I installed amother app called Google play store installer. But and will installing play store it restarted my device by saying that there was no space in the system Rom. I thought I didn't install. After the reboot was finished my play store was deleted. I had a backup of my play store. And I installed it and tried to install something from it. It sometimes force close, sometime it says error in download, and some times it says authentication required. Signo in to your Google account. Please help me...... :crying:

Flash your ROM again stock or custom ROM.

please help me with this. don't ignore it with its difficulty.
How to do that. I dont have a computer with me. I have rooted it with king root. I don't even have a custom ROM. So please help me.

Downloads:
download Odin 3.07 from here: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j...34052249,d.amc
download the latest stock ROM from here and unzip it only once to yield a tar.md5 file:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-N7100/
For flashing, boot into download mode and and use Odin to flash the stock ROM in the PDA slot.
If the phone gets stuck when booting, power off, go into recovery, perform a factory wipe, and reboot.
WARNING: There is always a risk that something will go wrong during any flashing process. Proceed at your own risk.

I don't have a computer with me. So what should I do. Is there any way to do it

Have you tried a factory reset? Resetting will wipe all data, music, contacts from the phone.

Yes I have tried that too. But I lost all data but didn't get the play store back. I tried to install the play store by removing the patch It didn't in the play store. But It didn't work. What to do.
I tried a lot of ways to install it.

I think the easiest way would be to use Odin to flash a stock ROM.

There is no other way to do this. Are you sure.

If there is another solution, I don't know what it would be.

OK so will I get play store if I do this.
And I need a cwm recovery file which supports my file. Any version will go. But it should work.
Thanks for all the information you gave me through.

There are ways if you are rooted. Try to install TWRP somehow. Then everything will be easy.

You could try mobileOdin app. Never used it, but it might work for your situation.

In lucky patcher when your about to download the play store it gives you the option to install as system app or a user app ....which one did you install it as do you remember

Flashing the stock firmware from Sammobile.com will put the phone back to the way it would be when it came from the factory.

Use TWRP Manager to flash TWRP, from there you can flash either a stock rooted ROM or custom ROM from your device thread.

My network was slow and I didn't download it. I downloaded from other website and tried to install. It says application not installed. In the same website, there was another app called Google play installer. I downloaded that and tried to install it. And before ithe reboots it says application didn't install as I didn't have space in my system Rom. And my play store got deleted.

Go into to app manager and clear data and fours close then play store. ...then open it up and see if that helps.....also you can install the play store app as a user app the use another app to install in system....lucky patcher will do it but we don't want you to re-live that nightmare

I did that too. I cleared the data and used. The same thing happened again. No change happened thereafter. So I think it is the only wayou to it. Can any one of the senior member sent the cwm custom recovery file and the steps to do it.

Gaaps MIUI
will this version of Gaaps work with MIUI ROM ?
Work on all CM7 androids?
AW: [TUTORIAL] Install Gaaps for Cyanogenmod7, Market and Google apps.
Some ROMs have their own recommended GApps so check first in your ROMs thread. If not, you can just browse goo.im for the latest GApps. Make sure, it's the right package for your Android version. Jb = jellybean, gb = gingerbread. For the flashing you can follow the guide above.

Thank you.
I will be an ungrateful dude if I do not thank you for this download. I was on Jelly bean on Lg P500 but had to downgrade to Gingerbread because I was not enjoying it much. But when I did, google apps was missing, and you provided a solution.
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
Please will you marry meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Haha!!!:highfive:

I have the same problem and yes, using a file explorer there is no Play store at system/app.
Is it possible that there is no Play store or Market until I setup a google account on the device (because at the moment I'm right after factory reset, so there is nothing on the phone)?

I downloaded the proper gapps, boot into recovery, wipe cache, wipe data / factory reset, install gapps, reboot. Then now it's working. I don't know what happened previously after the first factory reset (it was from the menu, not from recovery).
:/
I've been trying that for a while now, and I still can't use Google Play Store.

I Did Something Dumb To Google Play...

I'll try to make this as quick as possible, with the Cola ROM the Google Play store is actually the old Market.
Which is fine but I wanted to upgrade to Google Play, so out of stupidity I went into titanium back up and deleted 2 files, something like marketupdater2.2.0 and something like market 1.0
now I went online and downloaded the newest version of google play but my concern is will google play update by itself now that I deleted marketupdater.2.2.0? This is probably a total noob question but did deleting the market oriented files harm my phone? Like am i missing a feature or the ability for google play to update?
-Thanks
It won't update. Here's what you can do.
-Download the whole rom zip file (don't need to flash)
-Extract the apk you've deleted
-Paste it in system/app
-Change permission
Done.

U can try fixing permission and zip align ur apk first by using v6supercharger script..

google play problems

I tried flashing a rom and ended up resetting my phone, yet i retained all my messages. So I didn't lose all my numbers or anything. I can make and recieve phonecalls and text just fine. It says i have 4g and i dont have trouble accessing the network for internet (with or without wifi) . I have all my important apps and contacts saved onto titan backup but i cant access google play store to download it. "unfortunately google play store has stopped"
Google play movies and music wont open, yet i can open samsung apps. And when I try my google app it gives me a network error
Any advice on what I can do?

you rebooted after? its google services framework
so did the rom you were attempting to flash actually install?
Did you happen to flash a Verizon ported rom? I.e. synergy, axis, hyperdrive ?
Or was this a custom ROM like cyanogenmod or aokp ?

and i'm assuming since the flash didnt work that you're on stock now? hmmm
Sounds like a Gapps problem. If you're on something other than stock, go to that ROMs thread download and reflash Gapps for your ROM.

[Q] HyperDoidAOXP_Rev1.10 youtube update

I'm loving this rom, very smooth and stable.
However I'd like to update my youtube to the newest version, but i get the error that the package is not signed correctly and ask to remove the previous version
There are no option to remove youtube, but disable instead.
Is there a way to update?

You can try to install the apk file (HERE)
Or you can uninstall Youtube with a root uninstaller or with Titanium Backup then you install the apk file or download from Play Store.
Just after posting this question, I did one more search on the forum and most of treads orients to remove the youtube.apk
As my note 2 is rooted, I deleted the apk from /system/app. After that I tried to install from google play and got an different error.
So I restarted the device and then It could be installed from google play.
So I had no chance to test your link. But thank you anyway.
If someone is facing the same problem I was, try downloading the apk Primokorn posted and tell us your results.

You can download HB app from the play store. But you will have the same error when installing any game from HB app (or others apps too), it's a bug on some devices... Try to do a Factory Reset and just download some app frrom chorme (don't do any update before this)... on my phone i did the same exact process 9/10 times until works..

Did you do anything special or just kept doing a factory reset over and over until it worked (apparently after 11 times)?
