in device manager qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008. how to fix?
Had someone I know have this happen. 9008 is an emergency mode. They weren't able to fix or get any information in or out of it. Some information found was to jump an IC connection on the board, but this is not recommended, will void your warranty, and the diagrams for this device cost more than it's worth to get it replaced.
need AP files for BoardDiag from MSM8996, where i can find it?
no one come across such a problem?

What firmware where u on. If zva u cant downgrade. And from what i see there is no zva tot or kdz available. So u may be outa luck.

no, the problem is that i flashed a wrong firmware on my mobile and it ends with a black screen and no power either
I couldn't find a program such (boarddiag) can deal or recognize MSM8996 LG RS988 processor.

If u plug it to pc. Does it show qusb 9008. If so its hard bricked. I dont believe there is a method for repairing that either

Eventually. Some one will. U will need the orig firmware it was on so if it was on zv8 u need zv8 tot lg firmeware extractor and diagtool. To extract zv8 or which ever u were on orig only. To make a debrick image. Then we need a firehose.bin for qfil in qpst. If that method will even work for g5. It was touchy on g4. But worked on all but sprint i think just because we had a outdated firehose.bin file. I made a few debrick .imgs for g4 but again were basicly useless withouth the firehose bin. If u could find that there is a chance. Now if u were on zv9 or zva as of rite now ure outa luck. Thank sprint for that not releasing those .tots yet

You might have more luck in the LG G5 forum than the Sprint LG G5 forum. As you have the American unlocked model you might have more luck finding a solution there.

I have a hard bricked LG G4 H815 on Qualcomm HSUSB QDLOAD 9008 mode.
I've read a lot of unbricking tutorials of LG G3, Xiaomi MI5 etc... and the only way to get my G4 restored is to use QFIL and the appropriate files to G4.

From my understanding jtag or octoplus box is the only way ive restored both g2 and g3 hardbricks. But no method is available yet other than above again from my understanding unless somethings changed in the last few weeks

Which G4 variant is yours? Cause they found an unbrick method using Win32DiskImager and booting it from external memory. Also, some of the partitions image they have, have several mbn files in them. Idk if thats what you're looking for.

Before that, did you install Qualcomm_QDloader Drivers ? If you install them you'll get QDloader 9008 mode

I have an h818p g4 model with qualcomm 8994 chip
i was searching for weeks for the appropriate files
Please provide me mbn and xml files
I had rooted KitKat on G3. So i tried to unroot it and go back to stock using Lgflash tool. During the process, lgflashtool is now stuck at 6% saying "change partition fail". In device manager ,my PC detects it as "LGE Mobille USB serial Port".
I have tried ADB .but it always show no device.
Please help me. :crying:

Some times this can happen due to incompatibility of LG flash tool. You may need to try the same process on a pc running different Windows (Windows 7 32 bit will be great).
If you still have no result then you can also try the process with LGUP tool.

what dll you used..i have also this problem i have d855 model and when i switch on my phone it automatic in downloading mode ...i have tried (LGD855_20140526_LGFLASHv160.dll) with (D855AT-00-V10e-EUR-XX-JUL-08-2014-32G+0.tot) beacause i dont know what is mobile software version

You shouldn't have to use the guide I first posted since your phone is recognized. If you flashed wrong rom with the lgtool will report that model which is incorrect. Take off the battery cover and look around the phone so you have the correct model for your phone and download that kdz. You can use this guide to help. Use the first part.

Unfortunately I opened up my phone and found that my board is replaced with D850. So i flashed D850 tot file.
For you , just flash Europe . If it ends in success.You have flashed the correct tot file. for FM, try to find that your hardware is in working condition.Otherwise just go without FM.

Yes no prob so first you have to download the d851 tot file and the genetic dll and then come here again i will tell you the next step

Use dll that is supposed to be compatible with d851.
hi i have an lg g4 h815T model its running on android lollipop 5.1... i want it upgraded to marshmallow... problem is there's no option for OTA update in about phone its running stock.. i want to get it to marshmallow ... phone is rooted(it was when i bought it used) rest i knw nothing... i can learn .... i have used Motorola razer n spyder rom n stuff before...

Get LG Bridge from here: www.lg.com/hk_en/support/support-mobile/lg-H815T
Don't flash other variant‘s KDZ，or you’ll risk BRICK your device or get a null IMEI
H815T is not a common device and there're HK version and AUS version,use LG Bridge for safe.

no i think your phone cant be bootloader unlocked.
you cant root MM only LP thats why you had it rooted.
LP and MM system is different and on LP there was a hole that you could xploit it to rooted this changed on MM. in blocked.
so only in LP can be rooted with locked bootloader. wich am 100% your phone is. also if you plan to go back to LP make sure to know wich antirollback you are because different antirollback hard bricks phone..
still haven't managed to update mm... update file downloaded (1.67 gig~..too slow connection 4 hr to download this file) it started updating went to 9% than phone restarts into download mode and error pops up in bridge saying report recover error
can i download the update manually AND install it because stock downloader takes too long (normal downloading @150~200 kbs/s when my peak connection speed is 500~600 kbs/s)

yes you need to download the correct KDZ for it. i feel you i have 100kb connection. it took me all night to download ..
thats not good . can you enter sownload mode .. press vol up and connect usb. ?

i just asked cause theres antirollback if you were on Marshmallow 20o or upwards and flashed 10n then it hard bricks phone.. go to tmobile section and look or search. for unbrick.. i seen some threads but not sure if they work..

The only thing I can suggest is back every thing up and then a hard reset.......

Suspect in the event your ROM hasn't become corrupted and re-installing the same version doesn't help, you may have a hardware issue.

You can use either of these two methods:
LGUP - NEW!!! - INSTALL KDZ - MM or LP - FACTORY RESET/UPGRADE at https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
LG Flash Tool 2014 - The best way to Flash LG KDZ Rom at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
I would suggest using LGUP-NEW first as it tends to cause fewer issues.

As most users complain about only seeing a TOT file on the selection window in LGUP-NEW and not the KDZ they want to flash (until they read the posts and figure out how to direct to their file) I don't see why it wouldn't but, to be sure, post your question to the author of the site from the OP to get a more definitive answer. I personally have only used it to flash a KDZ file myself.

Only way is to find an H81510h file with an anti-rollback version that isn't smaller than the one you're on now. You'll have to search for it and perhaps put a request in at kdz, tot LG G4 [All Variants] (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/...iants-t3362423). Access your hidden menu and see what your current roll-back version is so you can be specific.

If you can still get into download mode, it's not dead. If you can get into download mode, look for the right rom for your device or try again and make sure you follow the instruction exactly . Try the other method as well to install if that doesn't work.
I've only tried to help and if you'd done your own searches you most likely would have had the issue develop at some point trying to find the right stock rom.
