[Q] Superuser 'Nobody'

Hello,
I've tried searching around the internets with little success, so I thought I'd ask on the Q & A thread with also little results.. So I thought I'd make my own.
On the odd occasion I get a Superuser request from 'Nobody'. I have it to deny as I don't know what it is.
It normally results in HTC Sense crashing.. So I'm just wondering what is it and whether it is safe to allow or not.
I'm running Android Revolution 6.2.0 with no added mods.
Thanks.

do you have linux and any experience in porting?
I don't have any experience in porting... but i want sailfish on my g3 to!
I've always wanted to learn how to port ROMs. The few times I've tried to follow guides and teach myself how to do it I'd have software issues and I'd just get frustrated and stop working on them altogether. It's been a while since I've last tried, I'd be willing to give it another go though.
I can help for the testing on the d852

ZenFone Zoom ZX551ML - How to Root and Install Xposed ?

Need help.
How do it root my new ZenFone Zoom ZX551ML
How to install Xposed..
I tried posting on official Asus support forums, but no help since last few days.
I tried to request the same via chat support, but they replied they dont support rooting.
Will appreciate if someone can guide in right direction.
It is becoming a major battery drainer and might help to control if rooted.
Google it, there are some methods available which lets you root this device

default OS marshmallow based on CyanogenMod

Hello guys , recently i purchased Nextbit Robin, after seeing its interface i was little bit surprised because it came with CyanogenMod (6.0) preinstalled not Stock marshmallow ... I'm facing wierd issues like data consumption issues .... Instant Messaging apps are using very high data & in data consumption tab Android OS is consuming very high
I don't want to use this rom because of above mentioned issues , and battery backup is not good ...
Plz can anyone help me in installing stock MM/N??
Hi there, well i'll assume that you bought a used Nextbit Robin, in that case you have two options.
1-. you can get it back to stock following this post on Razer official page:
https://insider.razerzone.com/index.php?threads/robin-factory-images-and-usb-driver.21487/
2-. you can install whatever other rom you want to try ie: paranoid, lineage, omni or carbonRom. just to mention some of them
in case you bought it like new you should speak with your seller
As @pay_omar said you likely bought used so I too would highly recommend you to install the stock firmware asap and stop using the old CM you never know what the earlier owner or the seller have done with that custom ROM.

You need to be carefull read everything in the post and make shure you have a backup before you make any change to your device.
also you'll need to install adb drivers so take this ones that works everywhere on windows

Where to find Android 2.2 Froyo?

My device is Garmin-Asus A10 that runs Android 2.1 which is not compatible with the PlayStore. Which means I want to upgrade to 2.1 "Froyo" to get compatibility with the Google Playstore.
Where can find such an old beast, 2.1?
I plan to do this upgrade via Odin.

I don't have this device myself but, it looks like the following link is specific to your device and has various downloads that includes the Firmwares...
https://www.asus.com/supportonly/A10/HelpDesk_Download/
... I'm not sure about any later Android Versions but, also note that it has everything you need to flash it via documentation, software, etc...
PLEASE REMEMBER: Odin is a software tool that is specific to "Samsung" devices only. You can "potentially" cause irreversible harm/damage a device if Odin is used for any device besides Samsung.
Good Luck!

Unless asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my Apple Macintosh.
correction. I have 2.1 and I am looking for 2.2. Where can I find Android version 2.2?
If there is no stock 2.2 for this device, is there a custom ROM that I can install?
---------- Post added at 11:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 PM ----------
and another question, how do I flash a non-2.1 ROM to the device if I cannot use Odin?
