Possible to root Tmo G3 manually - T-Mobile LG G3

Hey guys,
Just got my G3 yesterday after Jumping from the Nexus 5.
I was just curious, because I couldn't find anything after searching the Tmo G3 forum, is there any sort of guide to rooting the Tmo G3 manually? I understand PurpleDrake has his own root utility, which looks awesome, but I've always been one to want to see exactly what I'm doing to establish root. (I know it probably won't be as easy as rooting the Nexus 5 obviously)
If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome.
Thanks guys

here follow this if you have windows.

and if you have mac and linux its very straightforward just follow purpledrake method
this is the easiest android phone to root ive ever encountered seriously.
i did it on my mac and no need for drivers, and few clicks on terminal and you are done

I rooted with the zedomax video method posted above. It's super easy and only takes like 5mins to do.

Easiest root method for EVO?

Hello, I've rooted a few phones (Nexus One, HTC Fender, Sprint HTC Hero) so I'm not new to this. I am wondering what the best and easiest root method for the EVO. The main reason I want root is for the Wireless Tether application so hopefully that will work with the EVO.
Thanks
READ its pretty easy
i have used both toast and rom manager both are simple

This kind of post is made for the general forum, please take these kind of questions there. But to answer your question, I would say the unrevoked method is probably the easiest, that is just my opinion. I recommend toasts method however if you can follow the directions carefully.
I have tried the guides and I get no where. My software version is 1.32.651.6.

You're going to need to provide a lot more information than that or no one can help you.

Don't do the unrevoked method.
do the 3 click root method..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=706411&highlight=click+root
its basically toasts method put into a script.
I had no knowledge on how to root before I came to android. The first method I tryed worked like a charm for me.

And then if you want to unlock NAND (which there is really no reason not to)

Unless you know how to use ADB, then toasts is just fine. The 3 step method I have yet to try, I don't want to because this way is fine for me.
The 3 click root is awesome

I got it going yesterday, it would not take the PC36IMG.zip file. I finally found that after formatting the memory card again it worked fine. I did format it through the phone but still got invalid image error. I formatted it to a FAT32 in windows and it worked fine. BTW I used the toast method and part 1 and 2 worked like a charm. I just put on a stock rooted ROM since this phone is for my wife and she doesn’t care what’s on it. I just wanted to be able to install wireless tether and ROM manager.

One click method? Never seen that for the slide. I used Eugenes method to root which is in the slide Rom bible and so far I've been able to root all 3 slides Ive ended up with very easily. You will have to use command prompt on ur computer but if u watch the video its really not hard at all. This is my.first android phone and it was simple for me so try it out an let us know.

go with exploid
I agree with whgarner, I used the exploid method and that was fast and efficient
I used this method and strongly recommend it: HTC Slide root guide from cyanogenmod
The guide assumes that you have already setup Android SDK on your computer and that you have installed the correct drivers for your phone so if you have'nt done that already you will need to, as all the methods I have seen so far for the Slide require ADB. Lemme know if you got any questions.

[Q] Im really confused man

So I went on youtube to find out how to root my phone cause I use to hack Ipod touches and psp's, and I wanted to root my phone. Now I went on theunlocker and did the SDK thing and it worked as far as i know. However, is there loader for the root still running. Cause I was reading nbetchers method and I am a noob and very confused. I dont understand most of the steps because to me they seem out of order, so if someone could please help me that would be great.
nevermind. I did the unlockr thing and im running a root now. I got 2.2 running.

[Q] Rooting Sprint SM-G920P 5.0.2 on a Mac

Hello, guy who has never rooted here. This is my first post here too, so bear with me. I'm motivated to root by my dislike of the samsung overlay; I hope to get a ROM that's like vanilla android seen on nexus devices.
I've checked out a few tutorials on rooting but always seem to hit a roadblock, like how the Odin .exe file doesn't work on mac. Perhaps somebody could point me in the direction of a mac-specific tutorial or point me in the right direction?

Verizon Note 4 still rootable?

Hello everyone,
I've tried for days now to root my Note 4.
I'm pretty much at my wits end and have scoured the internet for answers.
I've tried at least 10 different guides if not more.
The issue is that I can never get the initial temp root to work.
Kingroot and Oneclick root have tried multiple(like dozens) of times and they each eventually tell me that there is no solution or whatever for my device but that i can request it.
I've tried running the root apps on the device and from the pc.
Yes I used the eMMC checker and my code starts with 15
I've tried with the sd card in and out.
I was able to roll back to 5.1.1 which is where i have been trying.
Is there another version that is more easily rootable?
Have all the root exploits been patched or something?
Thank you for any help/insight in advance.
this tutorial did it for me
Hello everyone.
this is my first post here and i would like to share my experience with rooting..
i don't have privileges to include outside links yet so you are going to have to search...
user Bobby8451 has a youtube tutorial. (search the forum or youtube)
i tried probably a dozen times with other tutorials but they didn't do it for me. i ended up bricking the phone and having to use verizon's recovery to get to stock and start all over again.
above tutorial has all the files needed in one package and step by step instructions that are VERY detailed.
there is a part 2
once you are done with part 2, you should search for the latest modem and twrp and you should be set.
