Apple BT Keyboard work with? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Accessories

Hi guys my buddy gave me an Apple BlueTooth Keyboard he had laying around and I want to use it for my Samsung Galaxy tab running Tasks ROM, I'm trying to hook up to the keyboard but it says "Can't communicate with 40:30:04...."
Is there a workaround for this or are these mac only keyboards?

[Q] G2 keyboard used as bluetooth keyboard?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if it would be possible to make an app/mod that would allow you to pair your phone to a computer or tablet via bluetooth as a bluetooth keyboard? I'm imagining pairing it with a tablet and using the paired phone's physical keyboard to enter text so you get more screen space for viewing content.
Won't work. Not possible.
Have not seen anything like that, but there are apps that let you use the android phone as the pc keyboard. Perhaps you could start there.

[HELP] Apple Magic Mouse & Apple Magic Trackpad Issues

Hi, has anyone else had this problem where i connected my Apple Magic Mouse & Apple Magic Trackpad and it will successfully connect to the Note 2 and shows up as "Connected to Input Device" BUT for some odd reason the Mouse pointer WILL NOT show up! I have tried to Google and find out the solution to the problem but have come across nothing to help me. Also if i connect either device to my Galaxy Note 10.1 they work perfectly. Anyone know how to fix this?

Root and Bluetooth?

I am hoping someone can answer this for me. Will the recently released root capabilities allow me to connect a Bluetooth keyboards that requires a password? This is something that the Fire TV couldn't do previously.

I did. I wasn't sure where I'd get the faster response.

Bluetooth Keyboard with built in touchpad
I am also very interested in this....
Is it possible to get the bluetooth settings to work with my motorolla keyboard and touchpad combo (Motorolla KZ500)? I get it to pull up the settings to see the keyboard and prompt to type in numbers but it doesnt receive anything I input at this step.
I will keep trying and let OP know if I find anything, but I am not a real android dev by any stretch.
I got my Logitech PlayStation 3 Cordless MediaBoard Pro to link with a generic usb dongle. It is great because it has a mouse pad built in
Got it to Connect - But not functional
I succeeded at getting the Motorolla KZ500 keyboard & touchpad combo to connect to the Fire TV through the use of the android settings.apk and typing in the numerical prompt. - I am on the latest firmware and am rooted now, if that matters.
However, despite showing up as an input device, no keypresses or mousepad movements are registering with the device. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
When I use a USB keyboard and mouse, it has no problem registering all of that.

[Q] Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (CM11) attaching Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse

I'm hoping someone can assist me with troubleshooting this issue. My wife's tablet is a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 running CyanogenMod 11, that we recently decided to attach a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to. The mouse is a Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse and the keyboard is a Logitech K480. She was able to pair both devices initially, but ever since has had trouble getting both to be paired. It seems as if the last connected bluetooth device is the only one that connects after a power cycle. I've also noticed that the mouse for some reason shows up as a Physical Keyboard (see screenshot for reference).
What I've tried so far:
-Using Bluetooth Auto Connect , which didn't seem to make a difference at all.
I would hate to have to return the keyboard and purchase a physical one, so I'm willing to try a few things to get this working.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem on my Tab Pro 8.4 running CM12. When I was on CM11 the most worked great by itself but now it's seen as a mouse WITH physical keyboard. This expensive mouse is now useless and it's been far to long to return it. It was great for Teamviewer sessions but not any more. I've tried paying in the CM12 thread for the Tab Pro but I received no responses.
I'm having the also problems on my Tab Pro 8.4 (LTE) running (inofficial) CM12 or RessurectionRemix 6.0.1_r66.
Running RessurectionRemix 6.0.1_r66 I am able to connect a Bluetooth Keyboard. Pairing my "Logitech MX Anywhere 2" Mouse also works, but there is no Pointer moving and no mouse-button is working. My next step is trying to connect any Mouse via USB-OTG.

Matepad Pro Keyboard on another tablet

Hi guys,
a question: I sold last month my Matepad, but I still have the Keyboard and pen, in your opinion is possible extract the keyboard framework app to make it working with another Android tablet?
With my new one (galaxy tab s7) system is able to see the keyboard on the bluetooth devices, and recognise it correctly, is able to pair it, but keep it disconnected...
Any suggestion on how the keyboard make the connection with Matepad and from where take the charge?
Thank for your help!
Hi i dont think it will be possible as the huawei smart magnatic keyboard use reverse charge feature to power up the keyboard.
