OP updated. Root works!

What's different.. Is it more updated than the latest nexus 4 4.3 leak
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium

Different first Google setup screen (removed Gmail background, Backup and Location, Communication setting on same page)
Takes bit longer to get first data connection. APN is there.
No SELinux
Market version is old 4.1.10. N4 leak has 4.2.3.
Wayyyyyy smoother animations... 60fps I am pretty sure.
Wallet works fine without modifications.

Imdb and Dash clock widget now works (didn't on previous 4.3 Leak)
---------- Post added at 10:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:14 PM ----------
I'm watching the cores with CPU-Z and at rest only only core zero is working after my rom settled in for about 15 minutes. WOOOHOOO!!! Hopefully this means battery life is fixed! With previous 4.3 leak at rest at least 2 sometimes all cores firing at rest. Oh and OH so buttery smoooooooth!!
---------- Post added at 10:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:26 PM ----------
BTW running this on a Bell CDN i337m. I just launched the camera and it paused with a "Please wait upgrading camera firmware" for about 20 seconds and the camera is working awesome so far.

Running great. Finally the TouchWiz parts are almost completely removed. Only one part left and that's occasionally the text color on the send button is white instead of black. They're almost there.
Sent from my GT-I9505G

CONFIRMED wireless charging now works when powered off!!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!! It would freeze and turn the screen white with lines and massively overheat the battery with the previous leak!!!

Oops... Wrong thread!

Thanks for testing it! Guess we know now that the modem doesn't work. I had removed post since it was not related to this thread.
Were you on a 4.2.2 ROM or this 4.3 ROM (based on your signature you were on a GE ROM)? Also there was no issue when flashing?

I flashed that zip and it flashed successfuly but baseband shows amdj. I should know better I flashed mg8 via mobile odin yesterday and had to odin back to stock to get my baseband back from "unkown". Obviously in my case the flash didn't take as i still have radio and mdj baseband.

Well.. since the dev preview I haven't had much luck running jb. My nexus has been running fine for a day or so then just blows a gasket and I lose everything on the phone, pics and all... been waiting for this for a while. Ilk report back if I have the same "jb killed my phone" issue I've been having with Evey other jb rom I've tried. Out of curiosity, should I be on any specific rom before trying to install this ?

[Modem/Baseband] T-MobileGS3 UVLI2 Flashable Radio

ONLY FLASH RADIOS IF YOU ARE A T-MOBILE CUSTOMER!!!!!
YOU MAY REGRET IT IF YOU DO NOT HEED THIS WARNING!!!!!
CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!!
DISCLAIMER:
Flashing radios on your phone should not be done if you do not understand what the modem/radio is! Yes, it is a simple flash, BUT, if you do mess it up somehow, it can at best prevent you from obtaining a signal, and at worst possibly brick your device!!! IF YOU ARE NOT ON T-MOBILE, DO NOT FLASH!!!! If you have a different device (T999V) or are with a different carrier (such as Sprint, Wind, etc) T-Mobile radios will NOT work!
I have tested this on my own device with no issues, however, you flash at your own risk!
T-Mobile GS3 Modem/Radio
Baseband = UVLI2
This is the radio which came with the unofficial update UVALI2, released Sept. 4, 2012.
Download and flash this from TWRP or CWM Recovery
TMobileGS3_UVLI2_Modem.zip
Note: Flashing the above file will backup your current radio. HOWEVER, If you flash it again, it will write over the backup.
To restore this backup, flash the file below.
Download and flash this from TWRP or CWM Recovery
TMOGalaxyS3RestoreModem.zip
The above file will flash the backup created by the first. It is the same as provided by Wildchld with previous releases, so again thanks and credit to him!
(I didn't see any reason to reinvent the wheel!)
Note: As stated previously by Wildchld, the Modem Restore zip file should be placed somewhere on your INTERNAL sdcard, else it may not see the modem.backup file.
Up to this point Wildchld has provided us with pretty much all our modem needs, so as always, thanks to him!
Being that his flashable radios have worked so well for everyone, I have basically just used one of his previous updates to create this one. I simply replaced the old radio with the new, and edited the script to match. This will work (backup and all) the same as previous releases.
All credit for the work goes to Wildchld so please thank him when you see him!
Also credit to mercado79 for the updater-script as stated by Wild in his thread.
The T-Mobile Modem Flasher by clark44 should be updated with this modem later (I'm hoping!). Be on the lookout! In the meantime it is an excellent way to test each modem for best performance in your area and on your phone!

I really am sorry for the trouble everyone.

whats the difference vs the i1?
a little bit of improvement on my end. I had 4 bars before the flash and tested at 18748kbps/2870kbps. After the flash I had three bars (same location), ran two tests. the first spiked to 26mbps but ended at 21mbps with a 1.6mbps upload. the second test didn't quite make it to 20mbps but finished at 17mbps with a 1.6mbps upload.
We don't really know, samsung releases radios we flash them, some work better some don't. There isn't really a change log for a radio or anything like that that I know of so we can see what's new. Just better optimization I guess

It has a little better download speed for me, I tested under the same signal conditions but the only other thing I noticed was with UVIL1 was every time I connected my S3 to my pc it said device not recognized even after rebooting pc and s3 I even reflashed to stock then reflashed to UVAHL2 then UVIL1 and same problem flashed back to stock again then flashed to UVALH2 and then flashed to UVIL2 and problem solved as well as a little download speed increase over UVIL1 so maybe samsung caught a bug, fixed it and re released it as UVALI2? .
btw I didwiped data/ factory reset, wiped system, data, cache and dalvik between all flashes

Waiting in line at the school so ill try to answer a few things.
These latest releases gave been unofficial, basically leaks. We will never see a changelog for these so its up to all of us to share what we find different.
Even with official releases the changelogs we get are pretty much worthless.
Everyone will have different results with each radio. It can depend on location, hardware, rom, apps installed, etc. Mostly location though, in my experience. Some folks will still get their best speeds using the UVLG1 radio! Its up to each one of you to determine for yourselves whats best for you.
Im glad you guys are starting to get your downloads to go through. Ill still find another host. Won't hurt to have two!

Update: Just flashed this over MiUi and this is actually the first i've seen HSPA+: 15 signal on my S3 ever. Even on stock TW roms i would only get HSPA:11.
Awesome radio for sure.
Thanks for sharing this so fast to us Doc.
LI1 is MUCH better for me.
Using LI2, my download speed is pretty much halved.

If you are rooted you can flash anything. The OTA will only work if you have the correct from and too versions. You would need to be on last version to receive the OTA update correctly. I made a mistake and went from one to another in the past and had to go searching for radios.

Check for a updated version of your ROM. Normally, dev's will have the most updated OTA's.

I assume the "Screen-ON" screenshot was taken about the same time as the other so at 47% with 1 hour and 40 min of screen on time isn't that bad. I average around 3 hours and 15 min of screen on time. I know that's not great but it's not terrible. What amazes me is these people getting 4-5 hours screen on time with one charge. I guess they're underclocking and stuff which I didn't really bother to do.

Thank you! Didn't think about dual booting, not sure how to do that yet. Any tips would be wonderful.
atm I'm running the xtremeperia s4 with infamous kernel. no issues yet with it. I had to switch roms because people was complaining that they couldn't hear me like I was muting them or something.
As long as I can do the wifi tethering while i'm out from home I'll definitely give this a go!! I've got to have the stock email (for exchange) and the wifi tethering for my work. The stock email/calendar and tethering for work is very important because I'm out in the field all day

Dual boot is actually pretty simple. Think I'm going to run this with infamous 8. Sweet. Love holo. Trying to figure out how to configure it the best.

you use the above link as mentioned by @tylerholbrook.. currently this rom is not patched by Dual Patcher..
you have to manually patch it.. or i have attached patched files here.. copy the content and overwrite in your zip...
then flash the patched KT kernel using Dual patcher.(otherwise it won't Boot)...
@Mr Impossible gr8 rom.. so far no issues my friend.. will post any bugs...
you're part of Dev team:cyclops:, if so why there is no official flag

Uploading issues

Anyone having trouble uploading data on tmobile and Tweaked Rom? I've been running tweaked a few days now and love it. But today I wanted to test my speed on lte and it craps out wjile uploading. Also tried to upload a pic to facebook and it wouldn't go through either.
Just wanted to know if maybe its a known issue with tweaked or maybe its just a temporary problem on tmobile? Thanks for any help

First I've heard of this, I would be interested in hearing if others have the same issue. I can't imagine anything I would've done to cause an issue, but you never know - that being said I sure hope it's just a TMo issue
Hopefully its just tmos network. Thanks for the quick reply. And thanks for the awesome work on tweaked! Absolutely in love with this Rom

I just noticed mine craps out on upload as well. It didn't do this on previous versions. I'll do some playing around and see what I can find.

That's what I thought at first but I restored a back up of jedi that I have and my uploads were about 9 mb up. Then I flashed a older version of tweaked I have just to see and uploads were fine on that as well. I'm gonna flash tweaked 2.5 stock and see if it's something I have ever installed or if it really is a bug.

Well dwitherell after some serious playing around and digging I've come to the conclusion that the problem is what you already knew. It is definitely a network issue. I think when I restored my backups that it was just a coincidence that my speeds were okay. What I did was a fresh install of 2.5 and still had the slow speeds. So then I odin'd stock md1 and still had the dismal speeds. I then called t-mobile and confirmed that they are indeed having network issues with lte all over the country but it is very sporadic. So with that being said I'd like to thank you for building one of the best roms I've ever had the experience of using and I've used a lot of them.
