This ROM is not a CleanROM. Its a stock rooted and all yours!
CSC Files are the files that tell your phone what kind of phone it is. For example; if you use the Verizon Patch files then this will convert the ROM to the Verizon version (sans the data icons) and allow you to access the Verizon Apps in the Play store. It will also set the APN automatically, etc...
This patch also has the correct RIL files and correct APK files, etc... To work with the Verizon Radio....
The patch in the OP can more than likely be applied to any 7105 ROM but I cannot assure you of that.

I plan on it. Posted stock rooted so I can get some feedback. I got screwed by Verizon. I bricked my first Note II, so they sent a refurb. The refurb is one of the phones that doesnt play well with ACE. I cant get the damn GPS to lock. Thats the problem VZW folks have with Ace. Granted only a handfull but now I am one of them
But yeah, I plan on using this as the next ACE Base.

Is there a T-Mo patch? If you have one it should be fine. Or just use the AT&T patch and program your APN and it would be the same.

No no, I meant I have the Note 2 from Tmobile, which patch should I use if any? I didnt flash any patch and it just worked but I was just wondering, thanks!

Oh, then flash the AT&T Patch and key in your APN's. I think that should do you.
Or just flash the ROM as is and key in your APN's.

YEAH! But the good news is, I think I can fix it software wise. Its in services.jar :highfive:
There are references to specific verizon settings in the Verizon ROM that are missing in the AT&T / International bases. I think... THINK I can make it work.

Ummm.... Well... Pretty much the same honestly, some features, depending on locale could be different. But the devices are electrically the same so the ROMS are interchangeable.
I see huge improvements on performance. Navigation is faster. Less heat issues. I am yet to realize the impact on the battery. But overall looks good.

Hmm, Did they ever get that unsecured kernel CWM flashable? and working..If so, and you could make me a unsecured kernel version, so I can start seeing what I can do with it. I had a good attempt at one but nearly bricked me, because of a stupid mistake haha but I know after Ive read all about the S4 processor, and such, Ill get a kernel going, and others probably will follow suit as other than the build.prop for the Tmobile and ATT versions are the same it'd be for both.

I have always prefered MiUi Us because of the Tool Box and what it offers with customization. The rom feels pretty smooth right now, but as far as iBot's MIUI. Well he is a pro and I'm still in diapers when it comes to MiUi stuff, but I love to learn new things. I will keep updating as much as possible and more frequently as my porting skills improve. I'm not sure how current I will go at the moment because I believe there are theme issues if I have been reading correctly.
Everything seems to work smooth.. I did check to see if i'm connected to LTE, and it still says hspa.. I know there's LTE where i live, its worked on other roms. Any idea if there's something i'm missing, or an option i can enable? I checked in the settings/network settings/preferred networks, and LTE isn't even an option
Just curious if porting from the i9300 version of miui.us would be easier than the Verizon version. Perhaps less issues with LTE (assuming there are any). Thanks for the work!

I didn't use the international unit because the hardware is different and I remember reading somewhere that that could cause problems.

You should show the apns under settings, mobile networks and then access point names. Select Lte and you should be good to go.
Have you flashed any kernels in the past that could have effected your radios?

Makes sense... Made the leap to your MIUI version. Only limited time to mess with it but it seems as smooth as ibot's with the added bonus of netflix and Facebook. Great work! Looking forward to your upcoming releases!

My carrier Bell, doesn't use a specific LTE apn's.. I think i might try to odin back to stock, then root and try to reinstall the rom..
I just checked the apn, and it seems good.

I had an issue on other miui rom and now this one with echoing. Is there anything u can do for this? Whenever someone talks to me via phone call they claim to have a bad echo. This issue would make this rom unuseable for me

Any hope to see some Mods for it? 3 way power (no need for hot boot), no increasing ring tone, no nag in notification, and 5x6 launcher

Let me know if you need help. Beyond Compare will make it a lot easier. They ahve a 30 Day trial if you have never used it before. I use it daily and had no issues forking out the cash for the paid program.
Especially when hopping from old base to new base you can easily see the low level changes.

Oh and I talked wiht th MWC Apop guy and sent him the framework files he needs and he said he would add it to his collection so we can also get MWC!

Lol. Just letting you all know I reflashed this without the att csc. I didnt like using photo artist to edit gallery. I like using the s3 editor instead and the rom without csc picks it up in the menu button in gallery.

Scott. Do all the dl stock roms have only the green battery color. I thought when I was unrooted it turned yellow then red. On tbus rom ir stays green. Is it just how the 7150 build is or is something broken?

No, I think that different variations will have different battery colors.

Fixed! Re download the AT&T CSC.
AT&T Has that Address Book thingy... And I forgot to disable it from the fresh 4.1.2 base. SO I just re-uploaded and that should fix it.

I installed the CSC and it also made the email black text on white background. Just like the aT&t Rom.

Yes, because that is actually a toggle in the AT&T CSC. If you look around at "features.xml" you can find the change. Its pretty simple to change it. Most of the toggles are just "true or false" to turn on or off a feature like that.
This must be a silly question...Whats the difference between this one and the other rom you posted? The other one has all the ATT bloatware....this one too? Thanks :laugh:

The one is the official AT&T Update that was pushed on 12/27 with a build date of 30 Nov 2012.
This one is the Official Vodaphone update, unsure of push to carrier, with a build date of 11 Dec 2012.
This is 12 or so days newer and is made for vodaphone.

Scott, your killin' me here. In a good way, lol. So I guess you have "Pick of the litter" as far as base builds for CleanROM. I guess, that, combined with the power of Aroma customization puts a lot of choices in your realm, and I know you are pondering what will work best. I was not particularly surprised to see 8, count 'em eight AT&T Stupidapps in Multi View when the finally pushed it. What else would have taken so long, LOL?
It speak to Samsung's dedication and quality that these ROMs are all decent, and are mostly bug free. So this Vodaphone one, would you say it's closer to the N7105XXDLL1 you use for CleanROM, than the AT&T OTA?
One request, can you consider putting Samsung hubs in whatever build you put together, as an Aroma option preferably, since I know you don't think too much of them. I like 'em because I grabbed a deal on Music Hub, and that, plus Media Hub have a Stock look that, love it or hate it, fits with Samsung's vision for the GUI.
Thanks for the amazing, well executed work you do. Rarely do i have to deal with bugs, or broken parts when I stick with your work (and if it is broke, or breaks, the fixes come so fast, I never worry about it.)

Indeed! I just need to get my phone from Assurion and go more in depth into building mods. I busted my screen today
The guys that I had beta test the initial build were pretty happy with it. Really the only thing I want to add is Extended Power Menu. Then focus on more performance and battery enhancements.
But for now this is good!

Strange enough... NO!
It was just in my pocket. I went to best buy to make a return of a case I did not want. Then went to starbucks. Came home to keep building up this ROM and it was just cracked!

Its the most current software base for AT&T. The boot.img was lokied with that MDL aboot. So if your not on the MDL aboot you will get a tampered warning and the phone wont boot.
On the next build I am going to leave out the Loki because someone told me that you all have a recovery that will auto loki for you. So that makes my job a LOT easier.

I would of flipped out. I hate spending extra money on unneccasary things. Like you didn't break it. It was clearly the amoled that broke. And yes I'm serious I have a glass screen protector on my phone

You can install it. It detects if Loki is in the ROM and doesn't auto Loki. 100% safe
