Some users used to have problems with text forms (with touchscreen too), the touch keyboard didn't appear and it's very annoying to open osk or the touch panel manually
This tool is very tiny (<900KB) and run in background, only an icon in notification area will be show
This tool check a clicked/tapped textbox and opens the touch keyboard
This is the first version, so sometimes it might not function, biu I've tested with a lot of user, so iThink that it functions correctly
Sorry for bad english
Waiting for feedback!

Does not work on Acer W700, Windows 8 x64. Additional components are required?

As I writed before, this is the first version and sometimes the keyboard did't appear, butI don't know why and I'm trying to find a solution
This app don't require anything other as far I know...

Is this based on an autohotkey script?

Yes, and the script is based on a script that i found on ahk forum here: http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/89058-help-converting-autoit-script-to-ahk/ with some edits to make it smarter

This does not work... have tested on Dell Latitude 10 x86... icon appears in taskbar, but I click the address pane in internet explorer and nothing happens, still have to open keyboard manually.. Its a shame because that is something that really pisses me off about Windows 8 and I hate using metro mode all the time because apps only run full screen..

Bottom softbar blocking java apps

For some reason, and this is only after I upgraded to kavana's 6.1 ROM, a few java apps are being cut off by the bottom bar. The first two I've noticed so far as jmIRC and Virca. The text is cut off by the bottom softbar and is not visable until other people (or yourself) types about 4 more lines of text. This is really annoying and makes the app pretty much unusable since you can't see what people are typing until other people start typing things as well. I'll see if I can upload a screenshot from my phone sometime today.
I have a similar issue with the GMail application. When I try to use the options, the bottom softbar blocks the pop up windows for commands, and I'm unable to use it properly.
Here is the picture of my screen when trying to use the app. There is probably 3 or 4 more lines of text that you cannot see for the bottom bar.

I noticed you were using that crappy irc client, i reccomend zsIrc, google it and get the zip not the cab, as the cab won't install, also its for ppc so ya can't set anything up in the menus, but there is a .ini file that is fairly simple to edit and set up all your settings..
good luck.
It's to do with the version of jbed on the phone there is a thread about Google Java app that says about this

[REQ] Real (Hardware) Touch Pad for HD

Inspired by the zoombar projects (link below), I thought that it could be possible to convert the hard button area of the touch HD to a more useful thing: a touch pad.
I think we have enough room for left-right and also up-down movement. Also a double click could be considered as pressing the Enter button.
I believe we have skilled enough developers who can make this dream a reality (like XaKing and namuk).

Although im no developer, i'd love to see this!
Although, would it only enable in certain applications? Because i want to answer a call when one comes in and not be zooming! lol
Also, if i get a call in camera mode, will it detect this and revert the buttons?
It all comes down to the limits of our imagination. Maybe we could have a blacklist/whitelist approach, where we could define the applications for which this touch pad should be enabled. This could be in some conf file or registry.
But we need the real thing first, these nice little touches could come later.

Hi guys, I found this little app on the net and didn't see a post about this one.... This is the same app found on the new Samsung Omnia II
" Midomi is a Windows Mobile app, which lets you hum or play a song to get the song’s title and artist name."

I tried it on my Touch HD (dutty's wm 6.5 R9) but I get a connection error.. someone else luckier??
Edit: only works on wifi.. bummer..
With a Regeditor change:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Melodis\Midomi\midomiGU IDType
from 3 to 1 !!
Solution posted HERE by Ikkari.
Yes, it should work, but it keeps saying 'no songs found'.
So either I suck at humming and singing, or it won't work...
It works for me.
For me NOT WORKING im with ENERGY 3 6.5 WM ROM with Manila 2.1 Not working
I install the program and after this when i open the program nothing heppand ALL BUTONS NOW WORKING no matter where im clicking
this application is not very good like sony erricsion track id in their java devices
any how grab mode works better then singing/humming mode
but its ability to recognize music is average
"better to have something than nothing "
sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. But oh well, I guess I'm suck in singing lol
EDIT: Not really always working on Manila 2.5.1 =S
Downloads must be removed...
Midomi recently became a PAID app
You'll find it in the Windows Mobile Marketplace for $5.99 I think. So, it's now illegal to distribute it here on XDA. We don't want anyone to get in trouble, so remove the download links now.
Everyone else, download the free version while you can !! LOL.

Sorry mate I don't have the cab but you may be interested in Fingerboard 2.1... try it
i have finger keyboard on the Rom i am using at the moment.
i liked the other keyboard on the old 6. & 6.1 Roms.
someone must have a cab file. if not how can i extract it from a rom.
I too am looking for the old style keyboard as a cab. these finger-friendly keyboards take up way too much space and I'm way faster with the stylus. particularly taking into account the gesture support for capitalisation, space and backspace.
EDIT: I just found the solution for this issue - Resco Keyboard Pro. I can't believe I haven't come across this earlier even though I had looked at various alternative keyboard apps. This one does in fact have everything the original built-in keyboard had - plus more. It supports the same gestures and is fully customizable. Granted, it's not for free but from what I can tell after testing it for a couple of hours, it seems to be worth it.

Twitodo

hey guys
I'm kinda new to programming, done a bit at college and now and then i read up about it at home but i know the very basic skills. anyways i thought i would test myself and see i could come up with an idea for an app.
its not a windows mobile app but i suppose in a way its for developers (can save progress of development and tweet it to followers). the app is called twitodo and it basically saves a todo list to a txt file in the install directory. it can also open a text file from a custom directory. it can also tweet the todo list to your twitter account and you have the option to view twitter in a browser window.
the ui is ok i suppose but it could be alot nicer.. would apreciate it if someone could do a few graphics for me. also if anyone has a link to a good guide for making installers because im not sure that my program install correctly, i think you may have to run it from the program files directory.
anyways feedback will be apreciated very much, anything i can add or remove at all just leave below please i really wanna make this app better, but go easy its my first program unless you count "hello world" then its my second lol.
EDIT:
Changes:
permissions to write file at startup fixed (moved TodoList.txt default location)
fixed crash when user doesnt select a file in load todo list window
Attached Files Updates!
just thort id put a pic of the ui on so u can see what it looks like
