Hello i've got a brand new HTC Windows Phone 8s and i got a two small issues,first is that i cant send any emotions via sms,every time i try to send it to some other android phone the people get only symbols,maybe there is a different command of symbols for windows and android....And another there is no notification led flashing whenever i receive sms or anything else,could somebody give some advices,thank you....
1. Yes, they have different codes.
2. HTC 8S, 8X doesn't have a led flashing for sms. Only for battery charging.

Hi guys, i just found that my tp2 suddenly can't send sms in chinese word since yesterday, it displayed sympol of question marks on my friend's mobile phone. I remember i did transferred few pictures from my pc and rebooted it for couple times because of lagging, could anybody know what happen to my tp2? Thanks for helping.

hi, i have this new phone, htc rhod210 or htc touch pro 2 i think, kinda new at this,
i am having some problem in sending sms, it just won't send.
i don't know where to look or what to do to it, i have a prepaid load so i think that is not the problem...
i was thinking of hard resetting the phone, but i saw in htc support site, that if i hard reset the phone, after, i need to install some things, i am cautious before i do anything so i would not bust this phone,
any hint on what to do?
Call your carrier firstly to make sure that you have not got anything blocked on your account. Since SMS uses the same protocol as the phone does for calling, it should work when your phone works. It is different for MMS and data usage.
hey, i recently upgraded from a G1 (dream) to a desire z, on ym old phone i got delivery reports for every txt i send, and it put a little green tick next to the txt and i could long press and see if it had been recieved.
I have selected the option on my desire z but i dont recive them on either standard messaging or on handscent sms. However wen i restarted my phone one time it decided to resend some txts that had trouble sending first time and i got the green tick and deliver report for them few. But when i started sending txts i didnt get the green tick delivery report, i only got it for the ones my phone resent.
Any1 got any ideas?

the symbols work onyl if the reciving phone uses the same symbols and for the notification light ...the htc 8s has one but it shows only your battery status when you charge your phone..maybe this will change with updates from microsoft

Thanks buddy with the symbols i have realized it before just needed approval,strange thing with the notification light that is only for the battery charge status.
I recently replaced my HTC One M8 (updated to 10586.494) after it fizzled out. The replacement was an HTC One M8 (Updated to 15254.489). Everything works as it should except for group texts. Instead of receiving incoming group texts in it's respective group text thread, I receive individual replies in that person's own thread, not as a text, but as a button that says DOWNLOAD. When I click DOWNLOAD, it briefly blinks off, but returns never to show the message. I'm near the end of my Windows 10 Mobile rope, but am trying my best to not to succumb to Android.
If anyone has had a similar problem like this resolved, I would surely appreciate it.
