Distorted Audio Sound quality when connecting headphones. - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

If someone can present a resolution I'd be very grateful.
I'm having trouble listening to music on my E4GT when it comes to listening to music. Whenever I connect earphones the sound is automatically distorted and robotic sounding. But oddly, whenever I connect to my car audio auxiliary it plays fine. I try different options to pinpoint the problem, its not the headphones because they work with any other device (also tried multiple headphones) and its not a hardware issue because it works with my car stereo hookup. I havent tried portable speakers because I dont possess any. Its very frustrating.
Thing is this started recently, I havent changed roms or installed any apps.
Im on Jellybean 4.1.2, rooted running the latest MIUI from the Android Development thread..
Ive seen a thread before the issue started on a different forum site, but it has no search feature so I cant relocate it.
Can anyone help me out??

Noise while playing music through bluetooth headphones, but only with Sense roms

As the title says, I get some noise when i listen to music with my SE W600 Bluetooth headset, but only in Sense roms (and desire HD roms too) and I have tried with two different Desire phones.
At techradar they have noticed something like this too:
www [.] techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/htc-desire-679515/review?artc_pg=8
However, there is a problem with the Bluetooth side of things, which worries us slightly. When using the new Jabra Clipper Bluetooth device (which allows you to use your own headphones wirelessly) the sound stuttered when using the music application.

So I wanted to hear if some one can make a fix for this or if anyone else have experienced this too.
I should say that this isn't that noticable but enought that I get annoyed when listening to music, and was forced to change to vanilla froyo.
Moved to Q&A as not development.

[Q] Left and right audio channels on different headphones / headsets

I was trying out various headphones and headsets to see if there was any major differences and noticed this rather strange thing. I used the youtube video:
http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=HK&hl=en&client=mv-google&v=4bJ0dvAl98k
And I noticed that using the headphones that come with the HTC One X, the left and right audio channels do not work properly. The right channel seems to be quiet. I also tried it with an old pair of blackberry headphones.
However, when I use the headset from the premium box set (Dr dre solo), the left and right audio work properly.
Any ideas why this is the case?
Have you put the 3,5mm jack in firmly into the headphone port ?
That's the only thing i can come with that is causing your issues ? (because that triggers the same effect of non proper audio channels)
Yep. I checked with a few headphones actually... I'm guessing there is some actual difference between the headphones and headsets.. Pretty sure if some people try it the same thing will happen..
Mystery solved
This should happen to lots of people, not just me.
Been documented in other places such as this: http://code.google.com/p/cmtouchpad/issues/detail?id=132
Basically the youtube app introduces new compression etc and stuffs sounds. Playing the same youtube file via Chrome etc works FINE.

Bluetooth Streaming Issue

I am currently running the Purity 4.4 JB 4.2.1 version of Android on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I have tried several ROMS to no avail. I pair my phone to BT devices with no problem. The phone shows Media Connected in the Bluetooth settings however when I attempt to stream audio to my car or bluetooth speaker, the sound just plays on the phone. I have attempted to use several apps (including Google Music) to attempt to force the sound to the speaker with no luck. I've seen a bunch of issue threads where Bluetooth issues ranging from audio quality being poor to issues with streaming. I haven't found a single response thread that solves the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you!

[Q] headset problem

Hi there.
I'm facing an issue with my note 2 since a few weeks.
When i plug in a headset with mic to make a call, the sound isn't redirected through the headset, it remains on the phone speaker.
This is quite annoying and it used tk work perfectly. I noticed that during the call when i plug in/plug out the headset, the sound goes tbrough the headset , but only for like 1 sec, then back to speaker.
I've tried with 2 diff headsets.
FYI, during music and vid playing, the sound goes though the headsets. Really odd issue.
i also face the issue that when i activate the BT, and try to stream the music to a BT device, the sound goes back to the speaker.
It used to work also but not anymore. Its not a pairing issue, i've tried many times.
I guess both issues are connected. Any help to solve those problems would be appreciated.
THX
No one ?
bump cause i'm still facing the issue

[Q] Streaming Bluetooth Audio Still an Issue on AOSP and Sense Roms - is there a fix?

I have done extensive testing with both my HTC One and Samsung Galaxy Nexus regarding the phantom ringing noise that exists on bluetooth audio. This issue is not only present on streaming bluetooth audio but also present when the sound file is kept on the actual phone (using Google Play Music). So far I have tried the following:
1) Tried multiple roms both sense and aosp - the ringing/buzzing noise still exists on both (DEFINITION - PHANTOM RINGING/BUZZING NOISE - a buzzing series of overtones that exists particularly when listening to jazz music that has a lot of ride and crash cymbals being played) As a professional musician, this can be quite annoying.
2) Tried going back and forth between bluetooth and auxiliary cable on both phones (HTC One and Galaxy Nexus), trying AOSP vs. SENSE roms, streaming vs. non streaming. Both phones and all roms have the same issue present, the bluetooth audio has a fuzzy clarity to the cymbals. It is worth mentioning that the AOSP roms are slightly better in terms of less Phantom ringing/buzzing but far from perfect.
My question is, does anyone have a fix for this? I paid big bucks to have Bluetooth installed in my car and really want to use it.
The auxiliary cable sounds good until you plug your phone charger in.....that presents an even larger noise issue. Please help.
Thanks,

if 2 phones and different roms still cause the problem then it might be your BT system.
what music player are you using / do any of them have an EQ system you can adjust.
what BT system do you have?

I am using an Audiovox Media bridge, however, I do not think that is the issue due to the fact that the issue improves slightly on the Aosp ROM. Additionally, when I run the aux through the media bridge I have no issues.
I am using Google play music. I have tried adjusting the EQ using Viper ROM 5.0 and have had no success. Any other ideas?
