Atrix Droid x dock. - Droid X Accessories

Wondering if anyone has put their Droid x in an atrix or bionic dock. I know the webtop experience won't be there but it should still do HDMI out and use the built in android drivers for the keyboard and mouse. Anyway, if anyone can let me know I would be thankful!!!

To the people who updated from OG Droid (or Milestone) how is it? :D

Hey everyone
To the people who updated from the Original Droid or Milestone to the Galaxy Nexus, please post on the differences you see in terms of the OS, speed and games (Also wouldn't hurt if you mention what rom you have running on your droid/milestone)
Thanks so much guys
Edit: Also, I would appreciate it if you could tell me if you think its worth it to upgrade
I used to have the OG Droid, don't have Galaxy Nexus yet, but it's safe to assume it blows a 2 year old phone put of the water. It blows my 2 month old Bionic out of the water

[Q] TV - Phone

I've ordered a cord from amazon usable on Droid x/evo something. It was only 2.83$ so it was a deal since its HDMI.
My question has anyone used something like this and if so did it work and what rom and will it work for ICS?
Lol I just didn't wanna pay 26$ for a AV cable that probably would suck.

Gnex to hdtv? This possible?

If so, what's the cheapest solution?

I think the cheapest solution is the one that is free, Install a free dlna app and this is enough to get videos on your screen, and music and pics, it´s awesome, but If you are talking about the homescreen and games in the tv I don´t know how, or the only way is to get a dock
Yeah if your TV has WiFi, most of them will recognize dlna hosts. But if you want to do more than host videos or music, get an MHL adapter. It will allow you to use HDMI and mirror anything on the screen

Or an MHL adapter. Please search before starting a new topic. This has been covered many times in the forums, and its also in the spec list.

Confirmed, I have one and it works.
They don't update the list on a daily basis to reflect the newest phones.
As long as the micro USB port supports MHL, you're good.

[Q] Galaxy Note 2 Desktop dock.

Anyone know if this will work out of the box with the GN? If not would it just require new software or is it hardware incompatible?

I would really love to use this thing if anyone has any idea.

If you mean a basic micro USB dock (like the one here) there's no reason it wouldn't work.

Specifically I mean this one. I like the USB connections and HDMI out. I know that the GN supports MHL and USB host, I just don't know if it all works at once.

MHL Adapter

Hey guys.
Just a quick one. I have an official Samsung MHL Adapter and I have tried it on my note 2 and it's a no go. Now, I'm stupid but not that stupid. It's one I bought when I had my Galaxy Nexus and it works on that.
So, I think it's one for one and another for another. I thought there was only one adapter.
Would anyone know anything in regards to this? Just want some other opinions etc. Seems to be only one available but I could be wrong.
Thanks heaps on advance guys.

There's two mhl adaptors, the one you have is for the galaxy s2 but there's also one for the s3 (& note 2). You can also buy an adaptor tip so you can use the old cable with your note 2.
Don't know if anyone knows if there's going to be a third one for the s4!?!
Hope this helps.
