[Q] CellPower Legit? - Droid X Accessories

I recently stumbled on to a phone accessories website with some great prices, cellpower.com.
Is this site legit? Has anyone bought something from them?

Always look up companies on the Better Business Bureau's website. Also, look for a physical address that google maps can show you.

They were a Better Business Bureau certified site. I ordered their Tri-Layer Droid X Vertex case for $9.47, it shipped the next day and I received it today.
It seems that sites too-good-to-be-true prices were true =P I'm definitely going to do more business with them.

I appreciate the heads up, but is Sprint really going to release and $40 HMDI video dock so when can stand our phones up when we stream from YouTube? lol I think that will be a better release when the phone can actually use its HDMI out for something more useful. I recently read on here that iphonemoviez.net works through the HDMI out because the movies streamed play on the stock media player, but that is just a coincidence more than anything else, IMO.

You're going to have to provide a lot more details than this. I agree with the other poster asking for an SKU and i'd also like to see some pictures. Your claim that these will be released on 10/7 is interesting, but where are the facts?
uh, whats a battery charging case?
Sprint SKU & Accessories
I've noticed that you can now order a
HTC HDMI Cable (D-type to A-type connector) from sprints website for $29.99 but don't notice a docking station. Also, bestbuy was suppose to carry the HTC dock but still no such items listed on their site.
The best two sites I have found for EVO items are
seidioonline.com
ProClip.com
Wondering if a Innocell 1750mAh Slim Extended Life Battery for $49.99 is worth the money - how much talk/data time can I get? Note: the standard battery is 1500mAh
The skus are evh1357q and cxh4613q.
They aren't preloaded yet, my info comes from our accessory update spreadsheet.
The charging holster, will charge your phone while its in the holster.
Im not asking for payment now, just when they are available for shipping, who will be interested.

wait so your saying its a holster that you wear on your belt or what not, that charges the phone while its in the holster and walking around? what?
as for the bolded? why the f would we buy anything from you? why would we not just walk into a sprint store and buy it instead of risking money with a brand new member of this forum?
Great announcement if true. I've been waiting for the oem dock.

The charging case is like this but obviously for the EVO. There is a battery built into the case and the case has a microUSB plug that is plugged into the phone. The case, if it's like the one for the iPhone, would be able to run the phone like a car charger or top up the battery when the phone battery runs low.
The charging case was in the pre-launch presentations for the EVO if you remember (first image in the link, bottom right).
I'd also like to note that the SKUs that the rep mentions above are the same as the SKUs listed in the slide at the link immediately above.
Another interesting thing to note is that the Desire HD is supposed to be released in October. Very similar to the Evo, if not the same, so accessories might fit both.
Well I just checked Sprints accessory sheet. Rms. Rsp and I connect and I don't see a thing about this

Like another poster, why would anyone "pre-order" from you when you're a faceless person when if your rumor is true, they can just go to a sprint store and buy it directly when it comes out? After all, you've got no legitamacy and it's not as if you're offering a discount. You're simply claiming to pre-order from you. Yeah, hang on, let me get my creidt card.
If you don't want to order from him, don't. He is at least trying to provide release date info on some accessories people have been wanting. I don't understand all the whining and complaining. When october comes around we will know if he is full of it or not.

Check the accessory weekly update. Under running the store, and any two accessories gets you ten percent off.

And the URL for this would be?
@mchlwvr614:
No one is saying a damn thing about the accessoires, just that no one is planning on "pre-ordering" from a guy who claims have them earlier. That just makes no sense.

If you let people know what phone you have it would help people to suggest places to go!
i just bought the droid incredible and looking for a reputable place (or person on ebay that wont screw me over) for some hella cheap things (like possibly a case, and a carcharger, etc). pm me on forums or msn me with a msg.
I recommend amazon and look for Amazon not a third party trusted seller.
eBay and BestBuy are the right place to look for accessories. These are reliable retailers with better customer services and fair policies, as per my experience.
I have had a lot of luck with Amazon and with Frommy.com

Getting rid of an unwanted lapdock

General question, for those who have lapdocks and decide they want to get rid of it, whats the best way to go with selling it.
On ebay I see them listed, I never see anything really getting sold and nobody really lists them up.
I'm thinking about auctioning it but I am worried about how much I would lose.
Anybody on here have any experience on selling there lapdock?
Thanks

I bought mine on ebay for 90 used some time ago, and most of the listings on ebay get sold for around 100. Depending on the condition, I'd expect to sell it around 70+ maybe, price dropped a good amount lately.
Id actually be interested in buying it from you. what kind of price are you thinking
I'm happy to sell it for any fair price, its barely been used its in great condition but now I'm feeling pretty sad looking at those prices.
I purchased it for a hefty 500, I was being optimistic hoping I could get rid of it for at least 150-200 but I'm more then happy to get rid of it at the 125 mark if your interested.
I'll be sending it from australia but I have the adaptors for the US as well since I brought it from there.
Inbox me if you want to discuss the item further.
This is very depressing but I can live with it
This needs to be posted in the marketplace forum. Not here. Doesn't anyone read the forum rules anymore??
It sells refurbished for 90 dollars after shipping, any more than that and you're ripping someone off.

no, not really.
people sell their items for what they want. a + $35 range wouldn't necessarily constitute a "rip off".
refurbished < used i think, depending on owner, of course.

A lot of the times refurb units are the ones that something breaks on and it's been repaired which should be cheaper than original that has never been opened.
Anyways, I just saw this thread and I also have a ladock that I don't use. I used that lapdock with another Atrix that I have with broken screen and used it as a wi-fi laptop browsing kinda thing. I'd be interested in selling it too if someone is looking for one.
Thank you and good luck to op.
sorry i didn't mention it before, but i'd be more than interested in buying a laptop dock from someone on XDA, i would just want a good deal from risking my money from someone i met on a forum, when i could get a perfectly good refurb unit from a reputable dealer for a cheaper price than offered.

ATT Premier customers get 50% off?

Explain.
And yay for me for creating the first thread here.
It all depends on your what account you are under, i.e. what deals your company has with them.

Each premier account varies. I get 50%. My sister gets 25% off. She uses mine lol.
It all just depends how big your company is and how much AT&T service they use.
in the same boat and wonder what cases they will have on launch day either tomorrow or next week
Oh they have them now. They have Belkin sheer cases in a few colors, Case-mate aluminum back cover, otterbox, and a few official Samsung flip cases.
I rec'd 50% off of accessories via my employer too. Most of the accessories listed on Samsung site are still not available at Premier site yet, such as battery, battery w/ charger combo, and most of official cases (TPU)

Poll: Where You Buy the Cell Phone Replacement Parts?

In daily life, most of us often use some cases or protectors to protect our cell phone, or some of us fix the broken phone according to the take apart vedios on youtube or other scientific webs. I want to make a poll that where you guys buy your cell phone parts such as case, protector, LCD, digitizer......Get them in Repair Shop?Amazon & Ebay? Normal Website? Or Never Buy? Please tell me the reason for your choice.
I mostly buy off of eBay.

Well if I REALLY had to, I'd probably check out amazon. Seems they have good deals, but most of the stuff is probably gonna ship from overseas.
Most likely from eBay and Amazon. But I can't think of anything else to replace other than the battery and backcover for my HTC sensation.
For me i'll try to find it in repair shop first since we can inspect and see the part/product.. online shopping is my second choice though

Yh, shoe leather costs (searching around) is basically what many of us do. I will tend to look on amazon or at my local hardware electronics store. The XDA marketplace is also a great area to search for spare parts. Once you have banked a year membership.
Oh and, only one person voted in the poll and it is already closed? Seems a bit dodgy. Re-open it or PM a mod to do it.

Mobile phone replacement parts can be found everywhere in market, like real store, online shop, ebay, etc, but i prefer to online shop. The price in real store and ebay is a bit high, because it's B2C marketing, and with less style. So i like to choose B2B online shop with wholesale price, and some website even no MOQ but price is quite low by comparision, like EOEM.If need, u can go to eoem dot cc, really ecomomic.
E-bay and only from sellers with many sells and good feedback !

The best parts usually come straight from the manufacturer. Otherwise you run the risk of some terribly cheap replacement parts.
