I am stationed in Japan and I have been with AU Kddi for approximately 4yrs now. When I heard the announce that they would finally carry a "smart" phone I was excited. I went in and purchased the E30HT if I am not mistaken it is similar to the HTC Touch Pro in the states. My problem is this: Most of the options are in Japanese. I am not familar enough with the language to take advantage of all the phone's features. Is there a way to convert the OS to English or is it a rom or procedure out to convert the phone to English. I appreciate all help given.

I sort of lost my XDA 2 and was not verry happy about it.

But before i buy a i need to know.
( I live and work in china ) So I will buy the DOPOD And as far as i know it is only in chinese. And my Chinese sucks.
So Is there a easy way to change it to english ? And how if you can.
If not is there a english rom that i can download to replace the Chinese rom?

I have been using the Dopod565 for a while (I have all the rest as well starting from XDA1, XDA2, XDA2s, Xda2Mini, Dopod 828, and Dopod 800 as well as the new JasJar. The only machine I am ussualy using as a phone, is the Dopod 565 :

The machine is sold in Taiwan as well as in other coutries as multi lengal machine.
The one purchased in Taiwan Dopod 565 came Chineese but you can change it to English and I am using it in English.
It does take the 2005, however some hacking and tricking is required.

Although that is what i thought. problem is that i bought the Touch via the internet in holland and i found out that all is in the dutch language. the manual, the windows mobile and the device software. HTC technical support in holland told me that i cannot change the language in the device officially. anybody can help how to do it?
there are many threads about in the forums about localized roms like here

of cause i have no idea if it's don the same way on htc elf

hi, i'm new on xda and in the use of dinc2...
i buy it in us and is verizon branded and i unlock it using a code,
everything is working perfect, but because i use iton motorbike i need the vocal composer to work perfectly but, after i set it to "italiano", it never work in italian but it work almost perfectly in english.
for now i solved the problem using to say the command and name in english but i would like to say them in italian.
can someone help me please?
