I decided to go back to OOS for my OP5T just the other day, because I wanted the better quality camera I could never find after years of playing in roms and gcam.
Now after all these years, I noticed that the OnePlus Gallery, even though the location information is listed in the picture.
So, when either clicking on a picture, then going to the details, even with the address/location shown, the google maps is empty, nothing appears. It's also the same if I click on Places it's also empty.
I'm assuming Maps after all these years of updates, and the Gallery isn't, is the reason it's broke?
But, is there anyway to get it to work with the Maps location?
THANKS

Hello everyone,
I'm facing this annoying problem on my ZE500KL after updating via FOTA to M6.0.1: if in my gallery I try to open a folder that contains webm files, the first thumbnails (usually 5~6) work for a moment, then everything in the gallery become grey tiles (but webms still play). I tried various gallery apps, I tried to delete the cache of Android and Media Storage service, and even a factory reset but nothing worked.

Does anyone have any idea?
So, this random bug of Marshmallow 6.0.1 that affects phones from various brands, is unsolvable?
Hello,
I'm a new user and have searched far and wide on how to fix the problem with the compass going all different directions in google maps navigation causing it to constantly reroute when it's not supposed to. I'm sorry if there is already a solution to this that I didn't see. I discovered this today and I drive for a living and it has completley solved the problem for me. I did it by turning off all sensors in the developer menu. I'm attaching an imgur link with photo instructions I made. Hope this works for everyone the way it has for me!

Hey XDA Community,
I tried to start a video call with the Poco F3 yesterday.
However, I noticed that the front camera shows up, but after 2-3 seconds it crashes and WhatsApp and all other apps can no longer access it.
I can only switch between two rear cameras. It is the latest version (2.21.10.16).
Can anyone share impressions or have the same problem?
If there are solutions or ideas to fix this problem you are welcome.

Now i found out that this problem is systemwide and not only in specific apps.
I already reset my device and the problem still persists.
Updates today for private compute core and system intelligence through Google play. Has anyone noticed anything new?

Nothing noticed yet. I'll keep my eye out, thanks.
Edit: Where the heck can I find the Play Store entry!? Checked on the phone, on the computer, tried Activity Launcher...
Nevermind. Found it through an article from last month. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.as.oss
Mine had not automatically updated yet, even after I triggered the several apps that had updates. Kinda wish it would go ahead and update the system apps at the same time.
For some absurd reason, this flagship phone doesn't support google ar services. I can't use live view on google maps, sideloading the app doesn't work and just causes the map to crash when trying to use live view. I can't seem to get vr videos working as well for Google cardboard. Does anyone have a fix without root? Customer service is useless, said they'll inform their "R & D" department.

There is a magisk module to spood the device fingerprint called ARCore_enabler maybe that will help.
