Hello,
I have an 55 inch android tv from a local brand, after digging about the tv it seems it's a rebranded TCL tv, the settings app shows "v8-s68at02-lf1v055" as an OS version, and it looks like there is an update to that version (i.e v8-s68at02-lf1v198).
So my question is can i update my tv to that version using the files from TCl since the manufacturer of my tv doesn't provide updates.
Is there a way to dump the software of my screen before updating?

Hi to all. I have a Android TV TCL 43P725, that has a built-in microphone. I bought a USB webcam with a microphone, so I could have video calls with my family, but unfortunately the TV only takes sound from that built-in microphone, which is very weak. Does anyone know, how to force the television to take the sound from the microphone on the camera? I think this will be a problem for all TVs with a built-in microphone... hi ,i have a problem with my c635 , in dolby vision content its like there is an automatic brightness settings always on. i already desactivate everything like automatic brightness and eco settings in the hidden menu , its like a flickering hdr issue. i found a ytb video of my probleme help me pls

EDIT: UPDATE ABOUT FOR ALL OF US WHO HAVE DOLBY VISION BRIGHTNESS PROBLEM, THERE IS A WORKAROUND SOLUTION AND SOMETHING LIKE A GOOD NEWS.
I found these instruction here on xda in other thread with beyond TVs:
1. Activate Quick Start (EVEN if you have this option ON, just do TURN OFF AND TURN ON THIS OPTION once AGAIN)
2. Turn off (hold power button on remote control 5 seconds and say YES/ OK to turn off question and unplug the TV and of course after 10-15 sec, plug in powercord to TV again)
3. Turn on the TV
4. Let it load all the GTV UI
5. Turn off the TV with the remote control button (but not completly, just one short click - to quick start standby mode)
6. Turn the TV back ON with the button on the remote
7. Put the movie or series with Dolby Vision
8. Enjoy, finally, the movie or series without brightness changes in the scenes

any update if version v501 solves this issue?
I have same brightness problem in Dolby vision with my new TCL 55C635. Anyone know a way to disable Dolby vision? This happens in all c635 series?is it a faulty batch of TVs or does it happen to all of them??
Had the same problem but only in dolby vision.
I try with the secret menu to turn off some settings but nothing, the problem was there.
I tried the solution to switch off, unplug, plug and switch on and the problem SOLVED!!!

Yep. I wanna know too. how do you access the hidden menu on the c635? Is it even worth it?

I had bought a TCL Google TV recently. However, I have a problem with Electronic Program Guide system.
Whenever I zapping the channels, EPG shows no information. Although, there is no problem with the signal and quality of the channels.
Can it be software problem? Anyone facing this issue?
