Problem with bootloader unlock redmi 5a

I want to unlock bootloader of my redmi 5a but i am unable because my simcard slot is not working hence i can not add mi account in the unlock status so every time i get the error of account not bound i can only connect to internet using wifi because of damaged sim card slot is there any other way of unlocking bootloader without using mobile data because i want to root my android.

Unlocking bootloader without sim card

I want to unlock the bootloader of my Mix2 but I can't insert the sim card linked to my MI account for some reason. Is there a way for me to unlock it? Does it work if it's any sim card? What are my options. Thanks for the help.

I have a fully updated Mi Mix 2 it has firmware verison 12 on it and I want to unlock the bootloader but it says I need to turn off Wifi and install a SIM card. I do not have a SIM card to install and it won't work since I only have Verizon. Is there any other way I can unlock the bootloader?

Mobile network disabled

In my redmi note 8, i forget my mi account lock code. so i given to local service centre. they returned because they cant unlock. after some days i got the mi unlock code from my pc password backup docs. i unlocked my phone with original unlock code.
Now the issue is that, i dont know what the service guys done to my phone. after unlocking i cant access to the mobile networks. the sim card is not detecting. Is there any solution to solve the issue?

Hello everyone, I have a Redmi 6 PRO (sakura) phone.
And I'm looking for a way to unlock the bootloader
I have added the account to the device but the error keeps on getting: "Connect to the network and try again"
Anyone have any solution please help me
