Question Google play system update - Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

Is it desirable to install the "main components" application and thereby solve the "google play system update" problem that is stuck on July 2022? Has anyone tried it and is it good for the phone?

Guidance on Installing Google Play Store

Hello.
Please forgive me as I know this question has been asked before, but I'm having trouble finding the correct solution with the current version of the Ouya software.
Here is the current information for my Ouya:
Hardware Version: OUYA 1.0
Software Version 1.0.13
When I check for updates, I am told I am on the latest version.
I have performed the following (please note that I have rebooted during each step):
Installed Kinguser to gain root access.
Installed Xposed Installer v2.6.1
Installed Mod Collection For Ouya 5.1
In Kinguser, I have granted root access for Xposed and Mod Collection.
In Xposed, I have checked Mod Collection uder the modules section.
I then placed ps4ouya.zip in the sdcard\download folder, and clicked on the 'Install' button for google play store in Mod Collection.
I then clicked the ON button for Google Play Store.
After doing that, I see 'Google Settings' and 'Play Store' apps under MAKE/Software.
When I click on 'Play Store', I choose that I have an existing Google account, and I am then taken to a website to log in.
I then enter my 2-step authorization code and click 'Remember this computer'.
From that point forward, I'm getting an error message saying 'Unfortunately Google Play has stopped'. I also receive this error message for 'the process com.google.android.gsf.login'.
Any suggestions on how I can proceed to get the Google Play store working?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Google play service has stopped

Hi
I have this problem on my HTC M8
For google search sake " Unfortunately, Google play services has stopped"
The problem occurred after the application " LBE " notified me that there are applications installed need update, however, some of the application were google app like " play , hangouts , etc. "
After the update it showed me an error message I can't remember, I searched and most the solution suggest to delete my google account and sign in again.
I deleted it, I can't sign in , and now show me this message every 2 minutes
HTC M8 5.0.1 ,lollipop
Rooted, but still have the stock recovery
Any solution without full erase ? like flash google apps or something .

What are the updates? Total confusion for me...

I jut got a new update on my Pixel 2XL.
It is in the "Google Play system update" required restart.
What are "Google play system updates"?
Under "Settings" - "Security" - "Security Updates" there is the System update.
Under "Settings" - "Security" - "Google Play system update" there is the something else.
Based on the HELP:
See which Android version you have
Open your phone's Settings app.
Near the bottom, tap System And then Advanced And then System update.
See your "Android version" and "Security patch level."
Get the latest Android updates available for you
When you get a notification, open it and tap the update action.
If you cleared your notification or your device has been offline:
Open your phone's Settings app.
Near the bottom, tap System and then Advanced and then System update.
You'll see your update status. Follow any steps on the screen.
Get security updates and Google Play system updates
Most system updates and security patches happen automatically. To check if an update is available:
Open your device’s Settings app.
Tap Security.
Check for an update:
To check if a security update is available, tap Security update.
To check if a Google Play system update is available, tap Google Play system update.
Follow any steps on the screen.
So...
Security updates = System updates
Play System update = Security updates
???
Total confusion...
Now I got an update but there is no changelog.
How can I know what was installed, changed?

When Google announces updates they post the list of fixes along with it. They don't send a changelog to the device when sending an update.

Can someone clarify what all the DIFFERENT update menus in Settings are?

Im trying to ensure I'm on the latest version of our device! Model - LM-G820UM, Software Version - G820U20d
Searching "update" in the main settings menu on my LG G8 Spring Unlocked brings up the following results:
https://imgur.com/UGKs9ip
From those results,
Clicking "Update Center" brings up this:
https://imgur.com/FuQaE5F
^ This appears to update all the LG apps/bloatware crap imo
This is where it gets confusing:
Clicking "Google Play system update bring up this, telling me I'm on the March 1st, 2020 Security update:
https://imgur.com/nXhuUwv
However, clicking "Security Update" (main settings menu, right below "Google Play system update"), tells me I'm on December 1st, 2019 security patch level...?:

So naturally I tried to manually check if there are any available update, I select "System Updates" from the main settings menu (see first screenshot) which brings up this:
https://imgur.com/8ZSIS3P
and then select Update LG Software - update client initiated LG Software - which FORCE CLOSES AND SENDS ME TO THE HOME SCREEN.
So what's the difference between Google Play System Update and Security Update, and can someone tell me what happens when you guys open up System Updates > Update LG Software, does it force close for you too?

Click to collapse
I mean, as long as when you check for update in the "update center" and you're on the latest it's good. Idk about the rest of the stuff, but that's all you need to worry about.
Can you tell me what Settings > System updates > Update LG Software - update client initiated LG Software displays for you?

I am stuck on a beta version and don't have that menu, but I can assure you that update center is all you need to pay attention to.
