Thanks giangishanghai,
my question was , how can I use this file too.
It's not a cab , it's not exe....it's just a file and I don't know how to install it.
Can you explain me please.
Thanks
P.S.: How can I backup the original settings , so I can go back if I does't like it ?

Here is how:
1. Copy the manila file in question to your desktop (PC) or wherever.
2. Download Manila Editor over in the Diamond Forum (in "Themes, Software..." sub-forum).
3. Open Manila Editor and open up your manila file by clicking "Select Path."
4. Using manila Editor, export the image in the manila file as a PNG, or whatever format you like.
5. Use a program like Photoshop to change the color.
6. Using Manila Editor, replace the image in the manila file with the one you altered with Photoshop.
7. Backup your original manila file from your windows folder (i.e., copy it to your storage card or somewhere else).
8. Disable TFLO3D (setting-->personal-->today--> Items).
9. Copy your changed file into windows with total commander (or resco explorer).
10. Restart TFLO3D.
Hope this helps.
I've missed Manilla Editor software
Thank you very much sk806
Hi all,
I have had a couple of questions on how to change the globe on the internet tab from the globe to a pic of your choosing.
I have attached the files you need. All you need to do is Create 2 png pictures that are 512x256 and name them the same as in the files.
Once you have done this copy them onto your device,turn off touchflo and drop them along with the mainla file into your windows directory using total commander (or similar) and restart touchflo and hey presto your very own internet icon.
Have fun
works great!!
I made a nice Opera logo, maybe someone likes to use it.
Can't find a good screen capture program, just try it.
You have to copy all three files to the windows directory using total commander or other.
EDIT: found screen capture program, so now included
very nice
Hope to see a few more of these on here. People have been looking but no one has replied.

Hi... I like your internet glob. Can you make it into a cab file? I am very bad at this so far so would be great.
Thanks in advance
Hi , sorry to trouble you but could you or anyone please upload the stock 'Internet tab Globe' icon for me ? My operator decided to use its own logo for the Launch Browser icon and it looks quite terrible
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately this does not work on my German O2 stock rom.
They probably use another manila file for selecting the image on the internet tab.
I have to investigate further...
Here try this Cab File.
I finally solved it, thanks to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2861249
I have to edit a file in \Application Data\Manila which holds the information about banner and operator links.
Thanks anyway for the information in this thread
BTW: You can add a property Text to the Banner node to display a heading under the banner icon
Many thanks to David. I've customised my Internet globe.
I 'emptied' the Youtube text as well as picture reference fields in your attached XML. So nothing shows. Hmm, now I am wondering how I can incorporate another program icon to be exact ...
remove the globe
Thanks for the tutorial, but to me the globe is useless, i would like to start at the tab with only my favorites and no globe at all; so is it possible to fully remove the globe?
I dont know. It might be possible but due to way TF3D uses the Mainla files you would have to modify it in such a way that it doesn't know there should be anything there and that it going waaay above my head.
It's not as simple as deleting the file you might actually have to change the more progamming but i'm sure someone could help

You just need to delete the "Banner" node (i.e. everything between and including "<Banner [...] />", without the quotes.).

Just played around and found I could remove youtube icon. All I did was to delete the everything within <OperatorLinks>.
Dear friend, after i have copied the 2 png pictures to the manila file, turn off and restart the TFL3D, the globe ico remain unchange. Would you give me more detail on how to fix it. By the way, there are two files named InternetPortal and InternetPortal-zh-CN, anything i need to do about that? thanks.

Nevermind, I did a bit more forum searching and found the right file to edit.
It is 27c65cbd_manila in \windows\ (for me anyway)

Hi Guys,
the new opera beta browser damaged my default opera browser which i liked more than the beta version.
Can you help where to download a non-trial version of the default opera browser without installing a new rom on my x1?
thx
Uninstall Opera from "Settings->System->Remove Programs"
Delete all "Opera" folders from "Application Data" folder.
(Using File Explorer, or any other file manager of your preference. You may have more then one, including but not limited to "Opera", "Opera9", "Opera 9.5 Beta".)
Delete HKLM/Software/Opera from the registry.
(There are many many registry editors out there, take your pick)
click on WM6.1_PPC_dawn_Opera_2532_signed.cab from File Explorer in "Windows" folder.
(Or from any other file manager of your preference, or executing/running/installing it with any other method of your preference. e.g. cab installers etc etc.)
Now you will have the default Opera with its' default settings like the way it first came with your Xperia.

It doesn´t work when you open a pic from manila tab...
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai
There you can change every default program. As for opening pictures from Manila, you will have to modify Manila itself.
After installing Resco Photo Manager in device's memory (not in storage card), copy and replace the files inside the folder, in the \windows directory.
After that, when you select HTC Album (even from camera menu), Resco Photo Manager, will open.
thanks dear

If the picture is .png then I have the same problem, too (I think it's Resco's bug), otherwise check your settings in Resco.

HTCAlbumMapper tool
Hi,
here's my small HTCAlbumMapper tool for your problem. Just follow the next steps you get Resco Photo Manager fully integrated in Manila's photo tab:
1. Install SSMaHo 0.0.4.0
2. Extract and copy attached file HTCAlbumMapper.exe at any folder on your device
3. Run SSMaHo's assigner-mode and click on the image in Manila's photo tab.
4. Setup new assignment as follows:
Check these boxes:
x Active
x EXE Name
x New EXE: Path to HTCAlbumMapper.exe
x New DIR: Use default entry
5. Save SSMaHo settings and run patch-mode again
Now you can open Resco Photo Manager by using the left Soft button and you can open a photo by clicking the preview in Manila directly!

Hi,
compiling the Lua script is another solution.
If you don't like to do that could you please check your assignment settings in SSMaHo?
Make sure that only these checkboxes are checked.
Which paths do you have in your settings?

you have first to find the correct _manila file (don't have anymore 2.0, so don't know its name), and then follow the tutorial (inside it will be almost the same)
anybody has that manila file already edited (for sense 2.5/2.1) so that I can just copy it to mine win folder??
I think I'm not the only one who use java apps on the phone. But accessing these apps is not user friendly. As we can see with Palringo, it is possible to start java apps by an icon instead of scrolling throuh all java apps. Can we somehow implement this for all (or for selected) java apps not just the IM? This would greatly increase the usability.
Any ideas?
BR,
Balázs
Good Question...
T-Mobile Branding uses also thier JAVA Midlet Navi in the menu and 1,2 other things...
Maybe step 1 would be. If we can replace Palringo with other Midlet.
As it is in Hidden Games folder...
At the moment I have 0 ideas how this work... as Icons are stored somewhere else.
And NOT loaded from JAVA folder...
I tried several things, but no success.
Best Regards
Well, IMO more importantly we should be able to put app shortcuts on the homescreen :\
Maybe other direction...
Apps start from JAVA menu.
Tumbling Dice is internal App.
Asphalt5 is prepared, but not activated...
Asphalt5 is for instance prepared but not activated in KJxLinkDisplayOrder.ini:
#LINK_INFO
LinkCount=2
#Link_1
link_name=Tumbling Dice
link_order=1
#Link_2
link_name=Asphalt5
link_order=2
I've added only Icon and tried to edit OapinGameList.ini...
In Firmware with Branding, there are enough examples with JAVA Midlets in menu. But still same problem, where are the Setting files?
Maybe we find for both an solution.
Best Regards
For JAVA Midlets on Main menu.
Part 1 seems to be:
KJxDispatch.ini
#Palringo
class=com.paxmodept.palringo.main.jme.JmeMain
vendor=Palringo
name=Palringo
Class we can find in *.jad
At the moment I try to replace Palringo with something else... frome T-Mobile.
Other test failed as no icon was created...
Best Regards
hey Guys! I'am from Poland and on polish forum we are trying to add java icons in menu too... My idea was to "tell" the Dolphin browser to "run" some java application. It is simple hack to do this: You have to add bookmark in Dolphin, call it, write the address to *.jar file (in my guide : file:///Mount/Mmc/Others/Opera/opera.jar) and it's IMPORTANT: activate third option, it's adding bookmark to main menu. But this idea is very imperfect - after clicking on main menu icon, you must install this midlet all the time This is because "hack" tells the browser to run NOT the application, but INSTALL file (*.jar). That's why You have to install Opera always after clicking on it. At this time we can't solve this otherwise. I give You link bo polish "bada-world" forum. At first post, there's my quick guide. Of course, you have to login, to see it. Probably You have to use Google Translator, or if someone of You knows Polish perfectly, it would be so nice
Code:
h ttp://tnij.org/bada_guide
(please remove the space after "h", I have no permissions to use outside links )
BTW, sorry for my english, but I hope You understand me Maybe with common powers, We will add java icons to menu!
Regards,
wxtester

re-installing opera and other apps will erase bookmarks and such things right?
If you want to use java on the desktop or the menu, it's not possible.
On the desktop you can just add flash files (and widgets).
On the menu, you can only add applis icons.
What you can do it's add the link of games and other on the main desktop to have a quick acces.
After you can add java applications.
You need to modify KJxDisplayOrder.ini file.
