OK guys, so I bought my HTC Inspire 4g and I am willing to mod it (I post in this forum because I was told that in fact it's the same device). So I am interested in installing this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37060683) on top of a custom kernel, please suggest one (or is it not needed?). So I actually need to root, s-off, bootloader unlock, flash a kernel, flash the rom and be happy . Now, can you please provide me links with instructions for all these? (Rooting, s-off,BL unlock,kernel flashing,rom flashing) and anything else that my phone might need? Thank you you are helping a huge noob!

What about reading a bit?? You have what it is called stickies that you should read before doing anything. Read the guide in my signature and that will guide you. Also visit the link in my signature (Ace Think Tank thread)
Being a noob will not excuse you from reading a using the search engine or google.
Hello, hope everyone's fine, i would like to knoe if there's any V10H rooted available ? because i searched the internet and couldn't find any, and even , i couldn't inject root to my system.img (10H) so please is you can do it for me and link a download link would be much appreciated, and i'm not the only one here wanting a v10H, because my phone current state doesn't support unlocking thr bootloader.. so yeah, stuck.

If you don't know what you're doing or don't feel confident doing it, then DO NOT DO IT because you can and probably will brick your device if you make a single mistake.

hello, thank you for replying, but i already mentionned that " i couldn't inject root to my system.img " which means i read the post and couldn't inject root into my system.img, which lead me to post a request here, to see if anyone can root it for me. thanks for your help

Well I'll be getting my Australian LG G4 today or tomorrow in the mail (hopefully) pretty sure the model will be either H815 or H815T but all of those flash on any of the H815(?) variations. If you like I will upload my rooted system.img after I'm done making it.
Was planning on holding out rooting my device for a while, but hey.. I may as well make the rooted system.img in the meanwhile

I have few basic questions related to my new OP 5T, for you guys please take time to answer. and it will be very help full for beginners like me.
1)To root OP5T(any android phone) is it compulsory to have custom recovery like TWRP?? or can we root with out it? please let me know how and any link for both cases are really appreciated.
2)Can we dual boot Oneplus 5T? i want to use official oxygen OS 5.0.3(current one) & also i should be able to switch to other ROM (you suggest the best one) when i reboot the phone. how to achieve this??
3)Is kali nethunter a complete new ROM or is like any other APP ? if its a different ROM then please guid me to dual boot this Kali Net hunter with official oxygen OS.
4)What is a kernal ? and what is a ROM? please make me understand in layman's language with examples.
5)what are the capabilities of Kali nethunter that we really can perform ? i at least need to know how to get into(hack, no bad intentions but only to learn and understand) a wifi network (what all network concepts i need to know? i have a quite basic on it)

I'm tired of the spying done by Google and Xiaomi with their bloatware, their applications that we can't stop or uninstall, that take permissions that we can't remove.
I would like to install a stock or custom ROM as long as it doesn't contain Google services (but with the possibility to install them if the need arises). I would also like to be able to root the phone (I don't use any payment service with my smartphone and it is no longer guaranteed).
My smartphone is a Xiaomi Redmi note 8 pro GLOBAL model M1906G7G (first version, not the 2021 version) which is running Android 11 with MIUI ROM v12.5.5.0.RGGMIXM and its firmware MOLY.LR13.R1.TC8.SP.V2.P57. It is already unlocked via miunlock.
I spent hours to read many posts here and also on other sites, but I confess that I am quite lost, between the too technical, too old or too specific; it is not easy to find there
I'm looking for precious advice from experts that I think I can find here without any problem
Can you please tell me where to start ? Do you have a rom that would fit my needs? Any posts or tutorials to advise me to read or follow?
