My widevine is downgraded to L3 after I flashed official MIUI 12.0.4 Indo via MiFlash. If I flash back to MIUI 12.5.4 Indo (The original), will I get back the L1 certificate?
Settings -> Passwords & security -> Fingerprint unlock -> Fingerprint payments -> Widevine (L1) and done

I want to flash xiaomi eu ROM to this device, but I'm afraid it'll break the DRM certification from L1 to L3 forever, like on Zenfone Max Pro M1 that I had. Will it stay on L1 or we'll be downgraded forever to L3? Thank you.
You won't have L1 in Xiaomi.eu until Google and Xiaomi add it to the China version, or the EU team fixes it, but nothing will be lost forever. Reflashing the official ROM (global) will restore Widevine L1, as DRM keys are stored on a separate partition or chip, not inside / (which contains all system files, and is changed on flash).

I haven't flash anything, but with latest update of google play services, face unlock is gone
AndroidOne works without MIUI, Google erase that option because is no longer secure. Mi A2 lite does not have hardware for faceunlock

I've enabled cam2api on my phone and locked the bootloader again to receive OTA updates. Will enabled cam2api persists after the update to 10?
I'm afraid to start the update...

I have stock ROM with an unlocked bootloader, but no root. Cam2API was enabled (using GCam) and it survived the upgrade to 10.
No issues besides some custom sounds needing to be re-selected (the name was replaced by some number).

i lost my cam2api after updated system :')
my gcam and other cam app supported cam2api isn't working now~
it is safe to doing same method on pie os to temp unlock BL and add cam2api ?
edited: ah yah i forgot that img_patched for current ota is not available for now lol~

My Widevine L1 Got Broken After MIUI 12.5.5.0 Update, is there anyway to fix it ? Even custom rom not helping i had tried Arrow 12.0 and some magisk DRM L1 Patches still can't able to fix it .

if it got broken by an official update then you have to wait for it to be fixed the same way, it may be a vendor thing, I would recommend going back to the previous version but the phone has an antirollback feature so you can't

Have you tried to download the global stock version and install the certificate again from the fingerprint settings?
This happened to me previously in my POCO x3 nfc, it did not let me download the certificate from the fingerprint settings, so I had to wait for an update since it showed me error 18 or maybe 13 when downloading (I do not remember it well), try as you I mentioned it earlier by downloading the certificate in the fingerprint settings, if I don't think you will have to wait for an update.

Yeah it's shows error and i m waiting from last 2 months and recently also updated to 12.5.7 but didn't get fixed .

Those of you that have the real Pad 5 Global version (not the CN version with global rom installed), what is the date of your Google Play System Update?
This can be found in Settings --> Security Status
...also if you tap the Google Play System Update does it show that a new update is avail or the you need to reboot to update?

I am running stock (no bootloader unlock)
It does seem very out of date for sure. It shows no update available when i click on it. Forgot to answer that part of your question.
