Dear All,
I have a two weeks old S21 FE (Galaxy S21 FE 5G 8/256 GB) - problem is:
if I select some photos from my galery to upload them to google-drive, two things happen:
1: only one picture is uploaded (no more, only 1 pc) and the phone shows that process is done
2. a message shows that process is running (upload .... pcs of files), but hothing happens. No picture is uploaded to google-drive, and the message about "process is running" can stay on my phone until I don't shut the phone down...
Can anybody helps me what is this? Maybe a wrong setting can cause this? Or is it better if I bring back this phone to seller?

I have the same issue. Didn't cross my mind that it's a hardware problem, I just assumed that gdrive has bugs )

Hello. I have solved the problem - I hope it can help you as well...
I deleted the Google Drive app and installed again - nothing changed.
What was the good solution for me:
Settings - Apps - Drive
You have to permit that drive can reach files/media - after thes permission pictures was uploaded from my phone to Drive.

Oh great, thank you! I just noticed that Samsung has automatically put the app to sleep because I haven't used it in a while. It seems it does this with all the apps. I think you can also tick off "Remove permissions if app is unused" in the same app settings.

Hello all, thought I come here and post this since the developer of the reinstaller app doesn't have any support email attached to the app.
The app had a v1.5 update yesterday and haven't been able to download any app from the marketplace since this V1.5 update. The app just quits upon tapping the download icon....it doesn't invoke the marketplace installer and it just dies taking you to the start screen.
Is this update bad? Too bad I have updated already but if you haven't don't till this problem is solved somehow if only the developer gets to know and if only I'm not the only one expieriencing it.
If anyone has a solution please help, don't know if i'm the only one with this problem.

I don't think it could be a matter of market, because before this update, I could use it without any problem...
I have the exact same issue and already contacted the dev. He says he didn't Change anything on the logic and means it could be the Website having issues. I doubt that though since I can Access it perfectly fine via IE mobile or from my notebook.

The app update has brought us problems....too bad
I am in the US and having the EXACT same problem. Dev definitely needs to fix this!
Able to log in and do the app count and everything. Like the new layout. But when I pick an app and try to download it, it doesn't do anything. Just blacks out and goes back to the phone app list.
Hopefully a fix is out soon. Good thing I'm not planning on flashing any ROMs now.

I just downloaded it, because everybody told me that this app is great, if you are too old to remind all your purchased apps Even if in my case they are only a few..
I'm from Germany.
I'm able to log in, and it counts all the apps, but when i try to download or to show me the purchased apps etc. it unfortunately does not work anymore.. :/
But lately I remembered the name of most of the Apps..
I hope it will be fixed soon

All - I am the developer of this app and while I'm really sorry that some of you are running in to these problems, it seems it is not affecting everyone alike.
There are some reviews that report that the app works just fine for them even with the update.
My take is that some kind of hardware/software variation is involved in this problem (after all, it made it through certification).
I'm working on this problem and will submit another update today. However, it will still be a week before it reaches you.

Secondly, thanks for your care, I'm so disappointed for not being able to test 1.5...and will see, today if I have enough time, if it's a matter of rom...but it would be surprising as 1.0 is just working fine...

2. App crashing when tapping the Install button after app scan is finished

Thanks for that! I was having the same problem as stated. I'm so used to having an unlocked phone, with my Focus, that I tried to load the QR Xap on the Lumia 900! Can't wait for full access...

Can you provide another one as this one wont install. Think it's a problem with certificate.
Edit** Nevermind, just used Multiple XAP Installer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943842 as it signs it before installing, and all went well.

This one worked perfect!
The second .xap you posted here is better, now it counts my apps, i tested it, and i works. but it is supposed to be that we tap every app manually to install after it opens the marketplace?

On HTC Titan it crashes when I click on Install after I download the list of the apps. Even if I select only one of them ...
A few months ago, when I had to send a big video to a friend's phone and realized that Bluetooth really sucks, I found out about WiFi Direct.
I googled a lot, but could not find a way to get it to work on my phone, although the I9000 was officially called the "first phone certified with WiFi Direct".
As I'm interested in programming, I started to research what I could do to develop an app that could send files at similar speeds and finally found out WiFi Tethering could work in combination with a simple HTTP server.
I started to write on the app in my free time, got it nearly ready, but stopped working on it because it became quite busy at school.
In the meantime I had switched my phone, but in the holidays I picked up the project again, finished the app and published it on Google Play. It's available there since about two months and received an update recently.:laugh:
I want to share this app with you guys now. It's free and I hope you'll find it useful.

No, this won't affect Fast File Transfer.
As mentioned, the app uses WiFi tethering (and not WiFi direct) and therefore will still offer fast file transfers.
So don't worry if the next CM10 does not have WiFi Direct, just use Fast File Transfer instead :laugh:

I mean, I do not see the need to open the browser on your second device because the two devices are "connected".
The way that this now appears that the second device downloads the file and not the first device sends it.
I hope I have explained.

You could send multiple files once and create a bookmark to the index page in the browser on the recipient device.
Maybe I'll implement a simple receiving part in the next version.

This is technically impossible without having an app installed on the recipient's device. Maybe the receiving part mentioned above will help you, but it will require the receiver to have the app installed, if he wants to benefit from the "fast receiving" function.

Is the DevDB uploader broken right now? I've been trying to upload a new build of my ROM for a few hours and every time it fails at the verification step. Not sure where to post this kind of thing but this seems like the most appropriate place; if not, feel free to move my post. Thanks!
Edit: took a look at the javascript console and it seems like the torrent creation script is throwing a 500 error, if that helps at all.

Found the same behaviour on my thread (not DevDB).
I've noticed that 500 is raised over attachments (images too) only when using desktop browsers. Control panel shows my attachment but it's not accessible. Tested with: Crhome, FireFox and IE ... logged and as anonymous ... same 500.
But, browsing the same thread with xda-app shows up perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Had an issue on the devdb file server the other day and it looks like when things came back up the MySQL server didn't start properly which prevented new uploads. This is now fixed and I've tested it, so let me know if you still see any issues with it.

This is a separate issue - it seems like the thumbnail wasn't created properly, but if you click on the file the actual attachment was created properly. I'm going to do some testing to see what is causing that problem.
Testing attachments... should be good to go now.
Edit: Yup - everything good. Let me know if you have any other issues with attachments.

I redid the downloads server a week or so ago, there are some new security measures in place and that is probably what caused the not-authorized error for you. I just downloaded one of your old files and re-uploaded it without issue. Can you let me know what browser you are using, or if there are any extensions that might be blocking in?

Thanks, the plugins are probably doing it. I use unbranded FireFox (IceWeasel) with the NoScript plugin (although xda has been allowed for a long time - I may need to whitelist something else, or use Chromium/Chrome).
UPDATE: it appears that Chrome is handling uploading fine (Chromium was a bust due to the lack of Shockwave Flash support, as the Upload button was dead). Is there a predictable server for the authorization I could whitelist back in IceWeasel - that way I don't have to switch browsers? (Seems that the authorizing server loads at the last moment, preventing me from determining it's name.)
So my music player app, the one that comes with the OS pauses for anywhere from 5-10 secs and starts again. It does this as though it is reading a message or something but I see no new messages or texts. any idea what's going on? I have Lollipop on the D5316. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem , and I searched various forums and sites and did not find any solution , except look for updates , but my T2 is updated.
So I did it: In the options of stamina mode I put in "active applications in standby mode" the music app, and any other system's apps that may have relations with him. Also I have disabled the clock stamina and prolonged use. So far it seems that stopped giving this error. :good:
P.S.: sorry if my English is confusing , I am Brazilian and I used google translator.

Hi!
I have a huge problem that i dont know how to fix !
My problem is that my LG E975 Optimus G has a half broken screen (means: only half of my screen doesnt work note : the upper part!) Now i need 1 app from this Device to my new Device!
I searched through the whole internet but everytime i think i can solve the problem there are things like : my usb debugging isnt activated or my Lg E975 doesnt support OCG cables...
Now i hope there is a way of me getting helped!

Its the Battle net authenticator! It generates Codes for your account that you have to type in every time you logg in. But its linked to a phone or the app on the phone. So i need it on my new phone!
