[Q] Rear Camera snapshop delay problem

Greetings,
My T-mobile Note 3 has a problem with the Rear Camera problem. I have to hold the camera on the subject about 2 seconds after the shutter sound, to wait for the line in the processing pop up window has scrolled across the screen. If i move the Note 3 before this is done the image is blurred or complelely lost off the picture. The image stabilizeation feature is on. The unit currently has Kit Kat (ver 4.4.2). Is there a setting I am missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been noticing this issue as well, mainly after the update to 4.4. Prior to the update, i could move the phone when the processing pops up and it still had the right picture. I reduced the resolution down to 6MP wide and it still has the same problem.
Only way I found to fix the issue was to turn off the smart stabilization feature. I don't see a use for this feature right now as I am able to hold the phone steady enough.

Thanks for the advice.
I shut off image stabilization, same as you and the problem is no longer there. Thank you for your suggesting. I hope this issue will be addressed in a future update from Samsung.

Update:
I chatted with a Samsung tech support online in regards to this issue. The problem seems to have been addressed by going into the camera app and clearing the cache and Data (Settings -> General [top tab] -> Application manager -> Camera). I don't know if this is a permanent solution (I doubt it), but it addresses the immediate problem. Fortunately, it seems that the pictures taken using the camera are still intact. :good: Once again, I hope Samsung will supply an update to address this issue.

No Dice....I cleared the data and cache and tried taking a picture with the stabilization on. After I clicked the camera icon and once the processing info popped up, I moved the phone. The recorded picture was not the one that i was focusing on when i clicked.
And I thought it was just me and my phone. I've not been to happy with the camera on the 3 because of this and I'm rooted so I didn't feel like unrooting to take it back and try another phone. I still use Samsung camera for video recording. (Smooth video by the way is like no other that I've seen, even on real camera's.) I downloaded Google camera from phonearena and it works fine for pictures, Samsungs is fine to as long as you don't move but I'll keep Googles. http://click.xda-developers.com/api....4) - xda-developers&txt=http://goo.gl/VEBuiq

Camera problem

Hi guys,
I recently purchased the Nexus 5X and I noticed, that when It's dark around, and I want to use the camera with flash and tak a photo, the light flashes and then it takes picture. The problem is, that when it takes the picture, the light is already gone, so the resulting image is very dark. Do you think its a software issue or hardware ? Im using the standard google camera app & stock rom and kernel.
Ty for all suggestions !
I just did test, the same thing happens to me as well. And heres why, you have HDR mode turned on, or on automatic. try turning HDR off and try again.

Camera issue with Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F)

Hi guys,
I have an issue with my S9 cause everytime i point my camera to a light source like a streetlight or a bulb there is always a small reflection/glitch that happens in my camera. Im attaching an image for you guys to understand this better. The red line underlines the glitch. Can you guys just tell me if its normal or do i just have to change my settings or anything like that? Or is this issue phone related and should i just take it up with the service center instead.

Can't see the image but probably lens flare, happens with all cameras

(S20 Exynos) Do you guys have this issue while recording videos as well? (video)

Hey guys! an S20 Exynos owner here.
When I record a video (everything default, FHD 30fps etc.), I always get this weird jumpiness and choppiness. My only guess is maybe the OIS is doing some extra-work trying to stabilize things, while at the end everything just looks unsmooth and almost robotic.
Captured a short video below to showcase: https://youtu.be/MO75_KZl_to
You can see it on mobile, but it's very clear on a monitor. right as the video starts you can see it. This issue appears in all of the videos I ever taken with this device.
Has someone encountered this? Do you guys see it on one of your S20's? Maybe my unit is defected?
(factory reset didn't help btw).
Thanks!
What storage are you using to save videos to? SDCard or Internal?

Slow motion video lagging

Whenever I record a video using the slow motion mode, the video is kind of lagging and missing frames. I have tried cleaning the camera cache and data, but no success. I also changed the resolution, changed the storage location to the internal one, but again no success.
I am using a Snapdragon S20 Ultra.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I have attached one example.
I have the same problem with the Exynos version. The service replaced my motherboard and other components several times and it did not help. I finally got a completely new phone and the problem still exists. What's worse, I saw that there is also this problem in the S21 Ultra. I lost hope that Samsung would solve this problem.

Yeah my exynos s20 ultra is the same...but wasn't always like this...I've recorded videos in slow mode from my gallery that plays fine,so hopefully its only software related
I have this problem from the beginning. I would expect it to be solved with new updates, but it's worse now than it was at the beginning. I know that this is not a function that so many people use, but it is unbelievable that Samsung will not be able to eliminate it ...
