When installing the zip file, the phone reboots into fastboot mode with the following message: "Fall-through from normal boot mode".
And when I try to start in normal mode a message appears saying that it gave boot failed
Excelent in 15 arrive home and test it
Sent from my Moto G 2014 using XDA-Developers Legacy app

it is a good ROM with lot of customizations(signature spoofing (microG) which I wanted ) but
When I was trying to connect to Wifi it never connected and stays on "Obtaining IP address."
And after installing Unroot.zip it is not booting, going into AP Fastboot mode
saying error "Fastboot reason:Fall-through from normal boot mode":crying:,tried with installing SuperSU also even though no luck in booting. @Kranoner

OK but the unroot ZIP is working you must flash the unroot and then flash supersu and reboot but when you only flash the unroot ZIP and reboot then you have this error but i will intigrate suspersu in the next update
Any possibility of this ROM having official support? She's a great ROM, congratulations to the job.

The substratum themes are not working, does this have anything to do with ROM? There is always an error in trying to apply the theme colors.

I had that issue too...It's because your twrp has got removed because of flashing this ROM I had to flash twrp again and then I came back to AOSP extended using my backup. Try it it will work

@Kran maybe you should go through this issue of twrp being removed on flashing this ROM. Same issue with the DU ROM.

I'm coming from a custom rom (10 - March}, do I need to be on the April stock to start?
And can you elaborate or illustrate the "boot loop once" and "factory reset" parts?
Should we not flash this onto both partitions? And factory reset from twrp or bootloader screen?

This is still a March build, Google will release an update on Monday
You can just factory reset and flash like any other ROM. Maybe those instructions are leftovers from a different device. At one point it said to have OOS flashed on both slots.

The easiest way is to simply open the zip file, ROM.zip\META-INF\com\android\metadata, open in notepad or notepad++, read this line, this is what the base firmware is devised from and unless otherwise specified from the dev, its the Google firmware to use:
post-build=google/taimen/taimen:10/QQ2A.200305.002/6138846:user/release-keys
This EXAMPLE was taken from another ROM (Bliss 10) so its FOR EXAMPLE ONLY (I deleted the original Evolution zip and currently re-downloading it now) but its same across all ROM zips. find that line in the metadata and use that firmware.
Hi, need some help here.
Clean flashed Android 10 with the factory image, which means my previously working TWRP installation got destroyed.
Now for the life of me, I cant get TWRP to work. Tried every method out there with Lunarixus's recovery from Telegram.
I fully clean flash, enable ADB, reboot to temp recovery, flash TWRP.zip, (tried with reboot recovery inbetween), flash Magisk and reboot recovery.
After that touch isnt working on recovery and the phone bootloops once and goes straight to recovery.
I have EvoX on Mi 9T Pro and wanted to try it out on my Pixel 2 XL.
Anyone got any suggestions?

In most other devices you can flash everything in one sequence but not this one.
You have to disable pin in security to use twrp until it gets updated. Also in stock you have to connect to a computer to use twrp or touch doesn't work. It works fine after flashing a custom ROM though.
Fastboot Boot twrp
Disable screen timeout in settings, same with the option to install twrp app.
Factory reset
Flash ROM + twrp installer
Reboot system and set up, disable pin
Now you can reboot to twrp and flash magisk if needed

So, I followed your instructions, along with the instruction on the LOS thread.
Flash everything without installing TWRP until the very last step.
Everything worked and I'm booted.
One issue still remains, TWRP can't read my storage even though I factory restored, that means I cant install zips without a PC. Also touch is working on TWRP.
Maybe one more restore will do the trick and break encryption?
Also, worth mentioning that I never set up security measures (PIN, Fingerprin etc) and still got issues with storage reading.

Are you using official TWRP or one of the newer ones? I still use official and have no problems accessing storage, just have to disable security first.

After performing a factory reset I can access the storage, but then I rebooted to system, and it went back to the stock recovery.
I'll try flashing it again tomorrow and see if it holds.
Man, I forgot how much of a hassle this phone is with that stuff.
ROM is great, no bugs found, hope to join volte.

Well, doesn't work again.
I can flash the ROM and boot, but as soon as I reboot to recovery, TWRP is gone. Flashing it again results to constant TWRP boot loop where factory resetting doesn't work and the only solution is to flash the ROM again, which results in the same problems.
It's a vicious circle I tells ya!
BTW, for the short time I used the ROM, I didn't encounter any issues to speak of! So that's great! Thanks Dev!!

OK so, with Official TWRP everything works as intended.
TWRP decrypt without any issues and is retainted through reboots.
Zip installation is fine.
Lunarixus's TWRP doesnt work for me, probably due to some mistake of mine.
Now off to test the ROM fully.
Turns out guys that now playing does work, just install "Pixel ambient services" from the play store to get it working, I'll remove the bug from the post tomorrow.
Can I know what gapps are used in this build and also the link to the device and vendor sources, would appreciate

Yes, pixel ambient is the underlying framework that "Play Now" relies on to function, without it, it cant. For the pixel line of devices, I always recommend installing the full suite of Google Ambient Services from the play store. It adds in the needed framework and apk's to function as a Pixel line.

It actually turns out EvoX recently picked the ambient music ticker commits needed for now playing to show on the AOD and lock screen, I just assumed it didn't work because I wasn't aware of this.

I can confirm after testing.
Downloaded Pixel Ambient Services and after a few minutes it started working as intended. Thanks for the tip

I am not 100% sure what you mean by the commits but you most definitely need the ambient services installed or you lack the underlying framework for the core functionality. Ambient services is the engine that runs the app so without it, it will never work. This isnt an attack on you or argument starter, merely info on the required framework.

I can't believe that no one has commented yet about this ROM. It's very good! My A2Lite is a backup so I don't have a sim in it...but so far EVERYTHING I've tried works perfectly! Very customizable and smooth. Screen scrolling is much more fluid than the last Android ROM I tested. Battery life appears to be great too! Overnight in airplane mode only drained about 1%. I just might put my sim in and give this a full whirl around the block.
My only issue when installing was after flashing the ROM & TWRP - I switched the slot and tried rebooting to recovery but instead the ROM booted. That happened twice (retried from scratch). So I let the ROM boot the 2nd time, reinstalled TWRP, flashed ForcedEncryptionDisabler, & Magisk. End result is awesome!
Just installed and testing. mn1968: I had some installation issue too. After ROM and twrp installation, changed slot. Then, when tried to reboot to twrp, got the message that there's no system installed, but ignored the message and it actually rebooted to twrp. Tried to install gapps, but I've got the message that it's already installed (missed the DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED warning). System booted perfectly and now I'm configuring.
I hoped for option to install my choice of gapps, but it's already included. It might be nano or micro and I prefer pico...
Is there a way to remove gapps installed and install mine?
TWRP gives out error when installing.

Wrong twrp, u need the daisy twrp by offain
Ahhh Thanks !!!
Work !!!
))
It's a very nice and customizable ROM.
The installation worked correctly.
But I have two things that bother me:
1. There is an option to hide the notch, but make the screen smaller and place the icons below it instead of coloring the notch black and keeping the icons there.
2. There is an option for left / right arrows in the navigation bar, which seem to be activated (see Navbar-Tuner), but are not visible, e.g. if the keyboard is open.
The option to use keycodes as before is missing.
Hi,
any other kernels to use to stop battery draing issue?

Try to disable battery manager. I'm not sure but it might be the reason behind the high battery drain.

Weird. I've been running this ROM for 3 days and Battery Manager has been on the whole time. I have excellent battery drain - only 1%-2% overnight. FWIW - I do have my phone on Airplane Mode as I still haven't put my sim in yet. Don't think that should really matter though.

Well GApps are builded in ROM source and removing them can break some thing, but you can try some Gapps Uninstaller (you will find in Internet).

That open apps lag problem will be fixed itself after some time use, and Mixplorer bug i think is app side, but I will look at it.

Microphone
Hello my microphone is not working in video calls messenger , Instagram , any solution ? Actually is working for 1-2 seconds and after stopping
Sry about my English
Curently running the latest stock rom, did someone else install this from the latest kernel? I know it says 10.0.13 is recomended but I would like to avoid downgrading if possible.
Also, how is the camera experience? Past roms I've tried always had a lot of bugs with the camera, mostly with low light photos.

Nothing works. at that time. Apparently both adb reboot-bootloader & manual fastboot sequence just skips either and straight to booting ROM. I just reflashed back kdz & go back to fastboot using QFIL and started all over again. It works fine now so probably I missed some steps on my earlier flash.

You mean by adb reboot recovery from ROM? I did but there is weird recovery installed, I forgot most of it but it shown as google/coral/coral as a header, like stock recovery rather than TWRP. Probably the TWRP did not stick last time. Well I guess it is a bit longer route but all iz well.

Yeah sounds like TWRP didn't stick when you enabled inject TWRP...when that happens you want to go into fastboot swap slots boot into TWRP but this time go into advanced and use the ramdisk option and choose the same TWRP.img and now TWRP will be installed on both slots...
I currently have this same rom on my LG V40 but based on the official gsi and currently it is going very well, do you recommend installing this or keeping the gsi? Or what advantages does this have that the gsi does not have? I hope you can understand, my English is very bad XD, anyway thanks.

First I installed all the updates from LG, than I had Paranoid Android Quartz 3, and now I flashed HavocOS. I get “Vendor image does not match the system” message at boot. PA didnt have this. Does it matter?
Any chance that you're going to build Havoc OS 3.6?

I think I missed the point where I have to check inject TWRP, how I can go back to TWRP now? do I have to redo the whole thing using QFIL?

So....when you install a rom from Slot a it installs to Slot b, so the TWRP from Slot a is still there even if you failed to inject TWRP into your Slot b. You can follow the same directions I gave him.
